Arielle turns up to start her new job at the ranch as a cook, whilst planning her audition for her dream job working as chef in a fancy restaurant. Unfortunately the original cook gets his job back, so she ends up being a nanny instead to baby Molly instead. A lovely story of development both in her career and as a person.
Cowboy's Doorstep Baby was pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a Leslie North book, with a little bit less spice.
A really cute story, although the romance came out pretty much out of nowhere, neither of them are having thoughts about the other until they're kissing pretty much.
A great quick read.

Cowboy's doorstep baby by Mary Sue Jackson and Leslie North.
Windy Creek Romances Book 1.
Sam Carden’s got a lot on his plate, with plans to expand his cowboy camp. But things get more complicated when an old flame shows up with their infant daughter, Molly, and hands her off—permanently. Witnessing this is Arielle Rose, Sam’s gorgeous new cook. When Sam’s old cook informs him he’s recovered from an injury and can return to work again, Sam decides what he really needs is a nanny. Arielle agrees on one condition: she needs time to hone her recipes for a big upcoming competition. Arielle is laser-focused on her job as a chef, so it’s a bit distracting to have to watch little Molly while she’s preparing for her competition. But the bigger distraction is Sam, who’s just about the sexiest man she’s ever met. The stress of preparing for the contest is definitely taking a toll. So, when Sam asks her to stay on as Molly’s nanny, she’s less than thrilled. No matter how attractive she finds Sam or how much she loves being around Molly…
Arielle knows she has to follow her dream…but what if it leads away from the family she’s falling in love with?
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I do love this duo. Great story and characters. I loved the cover. 5*.
The camp is my favorite thing about this book. I enjoyed the characters that made the camp shine. It was fun seeing Arielle grow and learn more about herself and her needs. Sam had a lot of growing and learning to do of his own. Cowboy's Doorstep Baby, is a wonderful book that I was sad to see come to an end.
Sam's ranch, and his business running a cowboy camp, are his legacy and there's nothing the values more. Arielle wants to follow her dream of cooking to a sous-chef position with a famous star via a reality competition. When she arrives at Sam's ranch for a temporary job on the same day Sam gets the shock of his life, in the form of the infant daughter he didn't know he had, their passions and priorities collide...and may eventually reshape themselves.
This book is just full of good feelings. Sam is surrounded by so many lovely people, and baby Molly is adorable. Arielle is tough, talented, and resourceful. It's easy to root for both of them and their happiness. The description of the campers is a hoot, and the scenes of Arielle's cooking are mouth-watering! This is a lovely traditional romance, but it comes with a little bit more, which is a nice treat!
Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!
