Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this free ARC! I really enjoy the author's approach to sex education and sex therapy. It's inclusive, funny and advice you can actually use. I loved that each chapter includes prompts for you to think about your feelings and beliefs towards that concept. I also really appreciated the real world couple examples she brought in.

I love the sex positivity and this is perfectly fitting! I wish i had a physical copy so I could’ve filled out the worksheets in the book, because that is such a great idea for readers! I could’ve done without a lot of the intimate details of specific peoples experiences, that felt a bit invasive and was hard to connect with. But still an insightful read!

One of my favorite reads from Netgalley so far. I will absolutely add this to some curriculum this Fall.

Hot and Unbothered is an informative, helpful, relatable and inclusive guide on finding your deepest desires and communicating them while also defining your boundaries. It is as if you went to a sex therapist, but it's all right here in this book. Bonus points for being a judgement-free zone. Yana Tallon-Hicks writes in an accessible way and even includes worksheets and exercises to really put into action the things you learn. Highly recommended!!
