When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect books to snuggle up with on any day.
I was very keen on reading Irwin b/c Wendy the Superlibrarian loved her last book and gave it a glowing review. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same, mainly b/c of the weak, flat writing. There are a few "sparks" in the banter, but overly this reads quite plodding.
After a storm strands them together, exes Will and Finley reignite their physical relationship. He wants true love, but she doesn't believe in forever. Can Will change her mind?
If you love steamy forced proximity, second chance romance, this book is for you. It's nice to see a romance where the hero is the romantic one, while the heroine is more practical.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
