Thank you Sounds True and NetGalley for this ARC.
In his book, Mr Kahn presents 10 different principles for living life, exploring each one and how in turn our actions with others can influence how we experience our connectedness to others.
I really enjoyed the writing style and reading new ways to consider holding space for the important things in life, relationships with ourselves and others.
I highly recommend this book.
Book: “All For Love: The Transformative Power of Holding Space,” Matt Kahn, Sounds True, 2022
Book Review by Mary Mikawoz
Matt Kahn writes a sincerely inwardly-looking book that covers his early years in particular and carries on from there. It is most obvious that his childhood has had a profound effect on his outlook and explains how he has come to the spiritual place where he is now at. He was deeply affected by traumatic events in the past and he shows the journey that he has been on.
Matt subtitles this book about holding space and its tranformative powers. According to Heather Plett, holding space means to walk alongside another person. Matt features a number of areas where you can hold space for people who are going through personal areas of concern.
I, personally, like the intentions Matt writes about. They are eloquently written and are down to the point of what needs to be sought after. They are beautifully written. I think, however, that someone does not have to get hung up with the exact wording. If something resonates, then type it out and print it out so that you can read it and reflect upon it. Otherwise, I think it is serves as a good starting point to create your own wordings and reflections. I believe in going inwards and choosing which words, phrases and sayings will work specifically for you personally. The intentions are like supplications from the Infinite – the bigger I to the smaller i.
For his efforts and exposing his vulnerabilities on his path provided by Matt Kahn, I give this book a rating of 4.25 out of 5. He has his own website under his name for more information and he has millions of views on his YouTube channel.

💗All for Love, The Transformative Power of Holding Space💗
I will admit, I shy away from most self help and motivational books. When I scrolled through NetGalley, I was pulled to the cover of All for Love by Matt Kahn. Once I was granted an e-ARC, I finished this book in one sitting.
What I enjoyed 💗
The Ten Attributes of Holding Space:
Encouragement
Validation
Reverence
Mercy
Worthiness
Patience
Respect
Appreciation
Bravery
Forgiveness
The author weaves personal stories from his life to each attribute which gives this book such a natural feeling while you read it. For anyone searching for a quick and comforting read, this one is it!

For me, this book was just ok. I liked most of the author’s message, but I would have preferred a more psychological and less spiritual approach. If you resonate with the blurb and are comfortable with terms like “Universal Will,” “divine timing,” “miracles, synchronicity, and alchemical magic,” and “soul contracts,” then this book may work better for you.
The author discusses ten attributes involved in holding space for and having more loving connections with ourselves and other people: encouragement, validation, reverence, mercy, worthiness, patience, respect, appreciation, bravery, and forgiveness. For each attribute, he discusses what could go wrong while practicing that attribute, how to set an intention for practicing the attribute, supportive statements (affirmations), what the attribute might look like in action, and daily practices for cultivating that attribute. I particularly liked the daily practices, which helped ground the more conceptual material in practical actions.
Thanks to Sounds True for providing me with an unproofed ARC through NetGalley, which I volunteered to review.
Book review : All for Love by Matt Kahn is an overwhelming self help book.
The author has discussed ten essential principles needed to change your self to become a better person giving yourself some space to understand other people's reaction and the reason behind it.
Matt Kahn invites us to see our differences as golden opportunities to explore the depth of our interconnectedness. Offering wise insights and tangible tools, Matt teaches us how to remain aligned with our highest truths and values while we hold space for the experiences of others.
This book shares lots of personal experiences of the author making me memorizing when it co relates to some situations in my personal life and teaching an entirely different way of pondering situation and the reason behind it. The best principle i liked is to forgive so that you feel relieved and can move on with coming future ahead.
I loved reading this book and recommend this book to all self help book lovers as it will give you an entirely different perception of circumstances and the people to whom we are connected.
I am thankful to netgalley and sounds true for giving me this book in return of an honest review.
Happy reading!

This book is just a big, warm hug; a friend in need and a love that would last.
The book brought me so much joy and comfort while reading it. It's like the hug we would all need when we need the best kind of comfort and healing. For me, it happens to be exactly both.
The content has ten short precise chapters and it focuses on giving yourself space/attention to yourself, giving yourself time and being more mindful.
The highlight would be the real life lessons/experience the author has shared throughout the chapters. It makes the book quite interesting and the reading experience a more fulfilling one.
Go for this book. You will gain a lot from just a few pages. Gift this book to someone you love. It will be so worth it.
Thank you, Sounds True, for the advance reading copy.
I was very interested in this book and i loved how it was made and the information was very good. Didn’t see it thay way before but it helped me! Hope it helps for others too
I have a love hate relationship with spiritual self help books. They go from actual advice to “just sit back and trust the universe” way faster than I’d like to. Matt Kahn balanced this beautifully in All For Love. Anecdotes from earlier times in his life paired with valuable advice made for a great, enjoyable read. The tone throughout the whole book was serious in a lighthearted way (if that makes sense) without ever getting too “preachy.” I loved this and totally recommend!
A beautiful look though how to utilize your inner light in life and how to make your life brighter. Pun intended. Highly recommend. Especially loved the reflection to true life to humanize my feelings and relate. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
