Addictive. Compelling. Just simply amazing. Like all of this wonderful author's books I could not put this one down too. A thrilling, just wonderful book.

Carla Kovach has done it again with another amazing read! This is book 11 in the series, but I believe it can be enjoyed as a stand alone as well. I read it in one sitting! You will get drawn in from the get go and will not be able to put this down! I can't wait to read the next one in the series!

Carla does compelling reads so well and this was no exception. A plot filled with mystery, intrigue and red-herrings a plenty. Simply brilliant. With thanks to netgalley for the advance read copy, an absolute honour.

Told from various peoples perspective, One Girl Missing follows Gina Harte's latest case of a missing person, with many possible suspects. This book will have you gripped from beginning to end. Whilst part of a series, it could easily be read as a standalone book, but definitely worth reading others in the series as this authors books don't disappoint.

Complex thriller featuring Detective Gina Harte and her team. Another fast paced story told from several points of view. Can the team solve the case and can Gina gave her own demons.

Thanks to Netgalley, publisher and author for an advanced copy.

I think this is my least favourite (for reasons you will find out). Nevertheless, it's a wonderful story and one of the best series of books I've rad in a long time!

5/5

This is the eleventh book in the series featuring Detective Gina Harte and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Annabelle, a teacher, and her best friend Jennifer arrange a night out at their local pub. On their way home a car drives into them. Jennifer is left badly injured in the road but Annabelle has disappeared. Gina and her team are called out to investigate and are shocked to discover that Jennifer is a Crime Scene Assistant and the girlfriend of DS Jacob Driscoll, a member of Gina’s team. When it becomes apparent that Annabelle isn’t lying somewhere nearby they realise that she must have been abducted. When Gina starts investigating her life there seems to be quite a number of suspects. Annabelle’s husband becomes a suspect as he has a young mistress, also a very friendly neighbour, an obsessive student and a teacher who she worked with at the school and who her husband thought she was having an affair with. Can Gina and her team figure it all out and find Annabelle before it’s too late. The book is told from multiple points of view, it is action packed with lots of twists and turns. A superb 5* read and I can’t wait for book number twelve.
Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

What a great instalment in the Gina Harte series, i just love Gina and following her story i'm know waiting for her and Briggs to get together, if you haven't read books 1 to 10 then do before hand because they are epic!

In this instalment Jenny and her friend Annabel are out at the pub, Anabel is upset about her colluege, so when they are hugging goodbye neither of them notice a car speeding which runs them over. When Jenny wakes up she realises Anabel has been kidnapped, so where is she? With so many suspects Gina and her team are determined to get their man with Jenny being part of the CSI team this is personal.

I loved this book, i must admit when Gina still has her own personal storyline especially with her dead ex husband she can't help but feel guilty even though she didn't actually kill him. Yet her guilt is ever present, this isn't helped by Riggs acting shady being able to throw herself into a case is just what she needs. Jenny is the partner of one of her team members so it's interesting that very little of the story is from his POV, but when it is you know it is going to be important, That is one thing i love about Gina and the way she writes you honestly don't know what the side characters role is going to be they could even be the kidnapper but as per you have to wait and see.

I really enjoyed the boys POV, he was pretty obsessed with his teacher to the point of stalking. He seems like the obvious choice and waiting to find out if he is the culprit or not. But it was a great to have a younger voice in the story, It's not often that you get that POV without them being kidnapped even if he was a bit strange.

I found that Gina was a bit more subdued with her character in this series, not being her usual self. She's worried about Briggs and worried about her partner after the information his ex wife told her. During a very sensitive and difficult case she has no one to turn to. I found it interesting how different she is in this story. No sleep, no friends and a bad relationship with her daughter. It's almost sad to see her like this.

i love this series and this instalment was up there with all the others. i found myself hooked to it and i sped through the entire book in a day. The writing style was as usual amazing with great description and left me just wanting to read the next book. I was flipping between suspects throughout and i didn't guess until the end. amazing An easy 5 stars.

Thank you to Netgalley, Bookouture and Carla Kovach for the ARC of one girl missing in exchange for my far and honest opinion.

Another excellent addition to this brilliant series
Two friends out for drinks become the victims of a hit and run on their way home, one is critically injured and the other disappears and so begins a brilliantly written story
Lots of intriguing twists and unexpected but also twisty developments in the sub plot

Gina Harte is a dedicated and seasoned detective. In the latest book in this series, she is investigating the hit-and-run of one of her own, crime scene tech Jennifer Bailey. While Jennifer fights for her life, Gina and her team search for Jennifer’s friend, Annabel, who was with her at the time of the accident but disappeared. And, meanwhile, so has Annabel’s husband, who is beginning to look more and more like a person of interest. As the story evolves, there are more suspects and many unanswered questions, while at the same time Gina is dealing with her own personal issues.

One Girl Missing is a well-paced mystery and police procedural that is filled with a variety of characters, several plot twists and enough suspense that will make it hard to put down. There are a number of POVs but I didn’t find this to be a problem. In fact, it enhanced the story for me. And, even though it is the eleventh book in the series, it can easily be read without knowledge from the previous books.

This is one series that I definitely recommend.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing a copy of this book to review.

With Jennifer having been in an accident and currently on life support, with the friend she was with missing, Detective Gina Harte is in a race against time as she is determined to discover what happened. Why was Jennifer hit and left for dead, and her friend Annabel taken?

Gina and her team start their investigation by planning to talk to Annabel's husband. However, he is nowhere to be found and this fact definitely causes concern. Then, considering the fact that Jennifer is a CSI that Kate has worked with before takes this investigation on a different level of intensity. Jennifer's boyfriend is DS Jacob Driscoll and this makes the investigation all that more personal.

This exciting book takes a turn as the police look deeper into Annabel's life, or at least the life of her husband. Apparently, he was cheating on her with the babysitter of their young daughter Cathy. Could his actions have anything to do with what is going on? In fact, this part of the story definitely played like a soap opera as what was going on behind closed doors begins to be unraveled. This all points to more than one suspect.

As invested as Gina with this case, her personal life has turned upside down. Her energy is draining but she is determined to discover what has happened between her and DCI Chris Briggs. Spliting her time looking for answers while struggling to figure out what happened to her relationship has got her in knots. However, professional to the bone, Gina never lets up with striving to solve the mystery before her, all while trying to compartmentalize her personal dilemma.

Thanks to Bookouture and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

I am not going to lie, I have only read 5 of the series but it was so good, it didn't matter I had missed some! Fast paced. Gripped me like a shark starved for days!

Every time I thought, was almost convinced I had figured it all out... I was wrong and usually I am really good at figuring out whodunnit pretty early on but this one had me guessing until the end and I was SHOCKED!!!

5 stars and honestly that's less than I want to give it

Thank you #netgalley and #bookouture for the eARC.

One Girl Missing by Carla Kovach is eleventh book in the superb Detective Gina Harte series. I have loved this series. It's one of the best series out there to read and has always had me gripped from the beginning of the book till the end, Carla has a way of writing that will stay awake all night of you start her book before you go to bed! or your day of chores will just go out of the window - so No planning of housework, shopping etc. Just find a quiet spot, open your kindle and become apart of this latest book within the series. This book did not disappoint. I read this in two sitting and looking forward to Carla's next instalment of Detective Gina Harte.

I highly recommend this series.

This is book 11 in the Gina Harte series and was just as enjoyable as the previous.
Jennifer and Annabel are best friends and go out for the evening. On their way home they are hit by a car and then Annabel is taken. Jennifer is the partner of one of Gina’s team so the case hits close to home. As they begin to investigate Annabel’s five year old daughter tells them she’s seen a man outside her window.
The story was written from multiple POV and I was hooked to see the story unfold.
Can’t wait for book 12!
Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Great mystery story. But too many POV. Too many characters. And way too much use of the word "guv". Otherwise I really enjoyed the storyline.
