This playful rhyming story explores the letters of the alphabet and the parts of the face with delightful animal illustrations. I could see this being a book a toddler requests over and over again without realizing the adults in their lives are encouraging them to learn their letters.

An entertaining, and brilliant way of learning the alphabet/spelling. With the combination of rhyming and super adorable artwork, this book is a great children’s book!

I recommend it!

The illustrations in this book are wonderful. I can picture students laughing at the funny pictures of the different animals and trying to do the different things that are asked of them in the book (ex: Can you touch the T on your toes?). I think that elementary students would enjoy this light hearted book with great illustrations.

Cute illustrations, but we can do without this book. It's a confusing concept and I don't even know how I'd explain to a child why there are letters on animals' bodies.

This is a delightful alphabet/ poetry book that kids will love. The illustrations are playful, gorgeous and fun. Their large size, precise detailing and excellent varied emotions that the illustrator creates are extremely imaginative and very kid-friendly. The book uses letters of the alphabet to correlate with parts of the anatomy that begin with that particular letter... A is for arm, T is for toes, L is for lips, and H is for hair, just to cite a few. Not only is this an excellent opportunity to learn letters but also one for vocabulary building.

The rhyming text flows from cover to cover which engages the readers from start to finish. Kids will go back again and again to re-visit this story and beginning readers will be able to tackle the simple text all on their own. This book would be a perfect addition to a classroom and library. The language is playful and the illustrations are whimsical making it a perfect recipe for success. I highly recommend this book.

Cute book to read with your young children nightly. The illustrations are beautifully colored too. Loved the simplicity of the rhyming but also helping kids recall the basic body parts as well as the alphabet.

I love this book, it’s a delight to read and share with little ones. The illustrations are appealing as is the use of the letters of the alphabet throughout.

Unlike so many children's books that claim to be "poetry" but turn out to be pure doggerel, this poem in picture book form is original, lyrical, and technically proficient. The text and illustrations work seamlessly together; both are engaging from beginning to end--a rare feat for alphabet book. Other nice details are the inclusion of differently-abled characters (e.g., a giraffe with a prosthetic leg). As a teacher and librarian, I would definitely include this book in a recommended reading list for parents and educators who are looking for titles that will build pre-literacy skills in children aged 0-4.

What a cute book! The illustrations were impeccable, adorable and we loved them!
Although the rhymes were not perfect they were educational and helpful with human anatomy and the alphabet

I didn’t really understand the overall premise of this book. The rhyming and poetry aspect was impeccable and the illustrations were adorable. Although, I do wish the poem told more of a story with a beginning, middle, and an end.

THERE’S AN N ON YOUR NOSE

A delightful rollicking fun story. One that could help children identify the alphabet. I see it as interactive. Child with parent. This is a lyrical read. The illustration are whimsical. My favorite part is the forward to the family.

A cute poem-Alphabet book that is filled with fun rhyming and great illustrations. The book manages to use most all of the letters of the alphabet and has some cute and creative uses of rhymes as the author uses those to identify parts of the body. This is a great book to read to kids and I think these young children will love the poems and illustrations.

There's an N on Your Nose is a wonderfully fun book that will be enjoyed by toddlers and little kids alike. My three, almost four-year-old is learning to read and spell, so visually seeing the letters connected to the cute animals' body parts was exciting for her. My 18 month old is just beginning to learn letters, and these are big enough on the page that she can point to them and even trace them with her fingers. This is definitely a title we'll be coming back to from time to time.

Thank you to Dennis Canfield, Well-Spoken Books, and NetGalley for access to this free e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

A cute letter sounds alphabet book. It introduces letter sounds at the begining of words such as nose, ears, eyes, etc. to a classroom of adorably illustrated animals. My kids really liked me reading it to them.

I read this with my 18 month old son.

The illustrations are colourful and characterful - everything you could want.

The selection of animals and alphabet is perfect for young toddlers and the use of body parts is a great opportunity for interaction.

I found the rhythm of the poem to be a bit inconsistent which made it more difficult for me to get a good rhythm going. Honestly not sure if this was down to me or the poem.

This is a really fun book!

I requested the book because of the cover picture. It’s a little book for kiddos to learn alphabets and anatomy. The highlight of the book is the illustrations. Oh, my! I love the detailing and the expressions of the cute animals. The illustrations are full-page with text in nice, big letters.
The text rhymes too, though I didn’t focus too much on it. The illustrations held my attention from the first page to the last one. You won’t regret grabbing this copy for your kiddos.
