I enjoyed The Hookup Plan so much! I am completely blown away by The Hookup Plan. Drew and London are my new favorite couple.
This book has enemies to lovers, a workplace romance, a HEA, and the guy fall’s first.
Thank you to Netgalley and Forever for the e-arc.

My favorite thing about Farrah Rochon's books have been the friendships between her heroines. London, Samiah, and Taylor are the best and I love them.
I was looking forward to London's story after the first two in the series, and for me it was just OK. London and Drew had good banter but I didn't connect with their relationship as much as in the previous two books. I think starting with their hookup took the tension and buildup out of the story and it just seemed a bit surface level.

This was an enjoyable read, and a nice conclusion to this romance series by Farrah Rochon. This story focuses on the last of the three women who found themselves friends after getting played by the same man through a dating app, London. London's got a busy life as a pediatric surgeon, and she's desperately trying to find some more balance between work and her personal life. While at her high school reunion, she meets up with former rival, Drew Sullivan, who has become super successful, and super rich. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, London finds him as attractive as everyone else does, and decides to go along with her friends Samiah and Taylor's suggestion of having a casual hookup. And it blows her mind!
A huge wrench gets thrown in London's casual hookup plan, when she finds out that Drew's company is doing an audit on the hospital she works in, and will be seeing him daily at work. But the more they see each other, the more they can't get enough of each other and sparks fly.
I appreciated the brief discussions of family pressures and complications, but I thought more could have been talked about in terms of Drew's grief for the death of his mother. And I really liked how London made up her mind about her professional future. Overall a good read for those who enjoyed the first two books.

REVIEW
The Hookup Plan ~ Farrah Rochon
READ IF:
* You believe in self care.
* Austin, TX is one of your favorite cities.
* You looked like a smoke show at your high school reunion.
SUMMARY: London Kelley hopes her high school reunion will be as successful as her career as a pediatric surgeon. She’s planned for it all except running into her arch-nemesis from way back when, Drew Sullivan.
But Drew poses an interesting opportunity - a no strings attached hookup whenever London is in need. It’s all fun and good sex until she realizes that Drew is in town to audit the hospital where she works. Can she really mix business and pleasure with her hookup plan?
REVIEW: Not my usual read but was in a major slump so needed something quick and light to break up my reading. Finished this one in two days and while it started kinda cute and fun, the second half was a bit cheesy and repetitive. And the end - not my favorite. Some major Grey’s Anatomy vibes which for me was a win but this will go down as unremarkable.
This is book 3 in Rochon’s “Boyfriend Project” series so if you enjoy and quick romance and find the idea of a series appealing, this might do this trick!

I enjoyed this book a great deal. I liked both main characters and I'm a big fan of second chance romances (though these two weren't together in the bedore.) This is a great addition to any public library collection.

I honestly thought the storyline was a bit boring. There was no depth. Just very straightforward. I wasn't super interested in these characters. Together or apart. However, I loved when London stood up to get dad. I was cheering her on in that moment. I also loved how this book ended with all of the girls together with their significant others.

I was put off immediately by the enemies-to-lovers portrayal, as it seems odd that feelings back in high school would still be as prevalent as a grown adult. It may just be me, but it seemed a little unrealistic or immature. As I read on, I started to enjoy the story more, but not as much as I thought I would.
Thank you Forever Publishing and NetGalley for this arc in exchange for my honest review!

The Hookup Plan which is the last book in this romcom trilogy. I’ve been looking forward to London’s story and reuniting with this friend group.
This was my favorite in the series. London and Drew were rivals in school and when these arch enemies reconnect at a reunion, the enemies to lovers banter and sparks fly. Add in some forced proximity when his consulting firm evaluates whether her hospital can stay open and the ever popular “just one time” to get it out of their systems, and it was destined to be a book I loved.
As always, I enjoyed the representation of women in STEM and the fact that this friend group built each other up. Loved the realistic look of what it’s like balancing a demanding career, friendships, and a budding romance against the back drop of tough decisions that need to be made.
I will miss this friendship group but can’t wait to see what the author writes next.

This is the 3rd book in the Boyfriend pact and I loved it so much. Farrah Rochon is such a fantastic writer. This is a sort of enemies to lovers meet second chance of sorts. London and Drew are high school rivals and sparks end up flying! Then they end up having to work together.
This is probably my favorite book of this series I loved both Drew and London they are so well matched for each other. I can't recommend this book and this series enough.
Thanks to Netgalley and Forever for an eARC in exchange for my honest thoughts.

This was a fun read between two pseudo-high school enemies who reconnect at their high school reunion and end up working in close quarters. I didn't feel particularly connected to either character but I enjoyed reading the story. Farrah did a good job of incorporating obstacles they both needed to work through with their families in order to be open to one another and consider their future. Not my personal favorite of the series but I enjoyed the read.

4 stars! it was a really fun read! please pay no attention to how long this took me to read. ebooks are hard for me.
london and drew were easy characters to root for and swoon with. their banter was easy and playful and definitely something i love reading in books! i loved the progression of their relationship though it did start feeling kind of… freud-y there for a second.
separately, both london and drew were able to change their ways and develop more as characters outside of the relationship but i wish we just got a little more closure for both of them. it felt like solutions were mentioned but had no finish and it had me craving just a little more. on the other side of this, i liked the pacing a lot and that they didn’t linger too much on events that didn’t move the plot forward. sometimes you just need to move on in a book.
farrah rochon’s been on my radar for a long time and this book has finally given me the push to read the other 2 in the series. rochon writes so easily and the characters were just full of personality without being too much. they felt like friends and just people characters you wanted to root for.
thank you netgalley and the publisher for sending me an arc of this in return for an honest review!

Forced proximity via workplace seems to be Farrah Rochon’s thing and I’m not mad about it. I’ve been waiting for London’s story since the beginning of the series, she’s the friend that’s intrigued me the most. I loved the banter between her and Drew from the beginning. The fact that his firm has to decide her hospital’s fate brought realistic conflict along with her fighting her disdain for Drew turning to attraction was all the drama I needed for this wonderful romance.

Farrah Rochon is one of my favorite contemporary romance authors. I love her plotting and her characters are so relatable. The Hookup Plan is the final book in the Boyfriend Project trilogy and what a finale! This book is London’s story. London is a pediatric surgeon resident who works at the county hospital in Austin. She is much beloved by the staff and only really butts heads with a few people. It is important to her that county not go private and that they be able to serve those who need it most rather than become a for profit venture. Enter Drew. Drew was London’s rival for valedictorian back in high school. She disliked him, but he had a thing for her. Now they’re all grown up and run into each other at the class reunion. Oh, and it turns out Drew’s company is auditing the hospital London works at.
Sparks fly though. Turns out London and Drew have a lot in common. They are both so driven. Also, they both have a philanthropic bent. It also turns out there’s a whole lot of physical chemistry. So, to relieve some tension and stress, London and Drew begin hooking up. If London can get out of her own way, what her and Drew have just might be the love of a lifetime. The Hookup Plan was a fabulous listen that kept my interest from beginning to end. The narrator is different from The Boyfriend Project, which I also listened to. This audiobook is narrated by Marissa Hampton and is 10 hours and 15 minutes long. I definitely recommend picking these books up via audio or just regular print form. They are well worth getting into. There’s no way you won’t fall in love with London, Samiah, and Taylor.

This book was honestly a delight. I thought that the dynamic between London and Drew made a lot of sense. They both had room to grow and humans, and needed some time to figure parts out before they could be together.
They are both successful in different fields, and are wicked smart. That just adds to their enemies to lovers vibe. They do love to needle each other, and that works for some couples.
The steam was nice, but not off the charts hot. It wasn't bad by any means, but just didn't keep me in the moment as much as I wanted it to.

I have been loving this series so much! This series has one of my favorite girl trios. This is book three in The Boyfriend Project series. Each book follows one of the women in the trio. I loved getting a book for each character and seeing their perspective on things.
I loved London and Drew’s story. I thought the chemistry and banter between them was the best. I felt like it was very realistic. This was such a great enemies to lovers romance. It was the perfect book to wrap up the series with. If you haven’t read this series yet, I highly recommend it!

I love the Boyfriend Project series and The Hookup Plan was a fitting end to it. London and Drew had terrific chemistry and the enemies-to-lovers story was nice and spicy. And as a fan of shows like Grey's Anatomy, I really enjoyed the hospital storylines. I'm going to miss London, Samiah and Taylor but Rochon sent them off in the best way possible!
Thanks to Forever for a copy to review.

The Hookup Plan was a fun and easy read. Although it is the third in a series, I had no problem reading it as a stand-alone! The common enemies to lovers trope was not a surprise, but it was kept interesting with enough great dialog and conflict to keep you reading! I loved the resolution of the story, and how Drew is able to give London what she really wants in a way that allows her to remain a strong. independent character. I haven't read other books by Farrah Rochon, but I will definitely seek them out now!

This was the third book in the series and it did not disappoint! I loved Drew from the start of the book. He was so in touch with who he was, still humble even with all hits money and knew he wanted London from the start. London was a force and powerful female mc and i loved her as well. This was a great ending to the series and I am sad its over!

Great book and excellent way to finish the series. Sad to say goodbye to the characters but enjoyed the journey. Can’t wait to see what the author does next.

I tried this series for the second time, and I still cannot connect. I think I am just getting older for the target audience of the contemporary rom com.
Thanks to the publisher for the ARC.
