Thanks to the publisher and to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

After loving book one in this series and being disappointed in book two, I had to control my excitement for this one.

However, I loved it. I loved the banter between these two successful main characters and the conversation behind hypertension/high blood pressure in stressful situation. I think for once it was nice to have two well rounded characters that each have some drama going on in their separate lives instead of it just being one sided.

One thing that knocked down the rating a bit down for me, was that I'm a bit confused on why these started out closed door/fade to black and then got very steamy. I think it may have worked a bit better just to be all open door?

Overall, I recommend this one even if you were disappointed by book two like I was.

I loved this book! I found that I cared so much about both of these characters and I only wanted the best for them. Once I started this story I had to see it through. I am such a fan of black women in medicine, I wish every black FMC could be written as a cool doctor. The only thing I didn't love about this story was the conversation about food and the way it kept being brought up

London Kelly is a stressed out, passionate doctor who need to relax. Drew Sullivan is her hot high school rival. A high school reunion and a hospital audit bring these two together and lead them to a hook up plan to help London unwind while Drew is in town.

As always, a hook up becomes more. London and Drew are both wonderful characters with rich personal lives that we see develop and change as much as their relationship. London's friends are a joy and the hospital operations backdrop is a great world for this love story. I love how driven London is, the choices she makes and how she overcomes her own prejudices and family issues to become a stronger better person.

The hookup plan is the best one in the boyfriend project trilogy

This eagerly anticipated novel is the last book in Farrah’s trilogy about 3 friends and I couldn’t wait to dive into London’s story. Nothing is more important to London than her work as a pediatric surgeon and she has big plans to make significant contributions to her field of study in the future. Everything is thrown off kilter when she comes across her high school nemesis.

With the fate of her hospital up in the air and a crazy attraction to her old archrival on the side, London gets him to agree to a sex-only relationship to blow off steam. She’s got no time or inclination for romance… at least that’s what she thinks.

It was fun to read this rare benefits-only relationship that ultimately turned into something more!

The PERFECT finale to a wonderful series!

London has been my fave of the group from the beginning and I am beyond in love with her HEA!

London and Drew are former high school academic rivals who find themselves very attracted to their grown up versions and working together.

I loved that Drew was so open and honest with London about his feelings and wants but also respected needs and boundaries. The winery scenes were some of my favorite.

I also really loved the exploration of parent/child relationships and how they can impact the choices we make.

I’m so sad the series is over but I’m excited for whatever Farrah Rochon has in store for us!

This is the final book in the Boyfriend Project series. And what a good ending it was! I have been looking forward to London’s story since we met her in book one and I was not disappointed.

Read this one if you love:
✨ enemies to lovers
✨ workplace romance
✨ the best banter
✨ strong female friendships

First, let’s talk about London. She is a pediatric surgeon aka a smart cookie. But, just like a lot of us, she is struggling as her best friends find their significant others and start setting down. Who knew that all she needed was a visit to her high school reunion to be reunited with her high school nemesis, Drew?!

Now, Drew. I loved him. But not at first. When he didn’t tell London what he did for a living, I was like I can’t like him. But he redeemed himself. His back story with losing his mom pulled at my heart.

So my favorite part of this book? The Austin setting. It’s so fun reading a book and knowing exactly where they are/what they are doing.

I’m going to miss this series but I look forward to whatever Rochon writes next

I'm completely new to Farrah Rochon but I will absolutely be reading her again.! In fact, I will be starting this series from the beginning and exploring London's friends stories. At her high school reunion Dr. London Kelley sees Drew Sullivan, her archnemesis and after 10 years not only is he a stud, but he is a very rich stud. With all the stress she experiences she has found the perfect way to release some stress and Drew is just what the Dr ordered. BaDamTss LOL. Now she has to accept that he has been in love with her since childhood and work past her decade long grudge. Rochon gave me a cute romcom that made me smile, laugh and tear up. She gave this book enough depth to keep you turning the page and made the characters have real problems, not just the usual fluff. I highly suggest this one! I'm rating it a 3.25. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC

I have not read Rochon’s previous books however I do have the Boyfriend Project on my TBR shelf for quite sometime now. I got Grey’s Anatomy feels when reading this book. I loved the enemy to lovers trope in this book. London is such a strong female character and the banter between them was perfect. It was such a quick, fun read.

Thank you Net Galley for the eARC.

This was my first Farrah Rochon novel and I'm sold! Wow, I really enjoyed this.

I loved Drew right away. It took me some time to understand London, but once I did, I really liked her. The rivalry, the banter, my gosh, I cannot say enough good things about The Hookup Plan. The story is more plot driven vs. romance, which I appreciate and enjoyed (could have had a little more romance). I can't wait to pick up more books by Farrah Rochon.

I've really loved the Boyfriend Project series by Farrah Rochon and I'm sad to see it end with this third installment. I loved the whole high school enemies who meet again at their high school reunion and sparks fly setup of this book. London and Drew had great chemistry and witty banter. The friendship between Samiah, Taylor, and London has been one of my favorite parts of the series. It was sexy, steamy, and sweet and a great end to the series. I'll definitely read more from Farrah Rochon in the future.

“There was not a single thing on this earth that was promised. It was a brutal lesson, but a lesson learned nonetheless.”

The third book in the series, I was excited to see more of London and figure out more about her busy life. As a doctor, she seemed to be always running around in the other books – and was hard to grasp a full picture of, but Rochon does it again in this book and brings each character to life.

Starting the book at London’s high school reunion was PERFECT because 1) London helped organize it, 2) London didn’t have time to be there, and 3) London spent most of her time dodging and then talking to her high school enemy: Drew Sullivan. Except their rivalry seems to have been one sided, and Drew is just a bit too proud or self-preserving to let her know it…at first.

London’s high-stress lifestyle leads her to throwing caution to the wind. Ending up in Drew’s hotel room is the last thing she planned for at her high school reunion, but really, the last thing she ever expected was to enjoy it … and to not be able to help herself from going back for more. And Drew is all for it. That is, until London finds out what Drew is actually doing in town, and then there’s a bit of professional butting-of-heads going on too.

I loved catching glimpses of Samiah and Taylor in this book and seeing how they were doing post their books. I know all three friends have had their own book now, but I still am hoping for a fourth one to bring them all into the future together. I need more!!

This entire series is a phenomenal romcom series that’s both fun and serious at all the right moments.

Tropes: enemies to lovers, it’s always been you, workplace romance (kind of).

Enemies to lovers, the story of London and Drew.
A great read, I like how it is told from both points of view.

🌟 Thai basil & lemongrass "mojito" is the drink I didn't know I needed but will be drinking the rest of the summer.

📚 This cocktail is 100% inspired by a drink that Samiah makes for her friends Taylor and London Kelly in the latest installment of Farrah Rochon's series The Boyfriend Project, The Hookup Plan. The series started when 3 women were all unknowingly dating the same man - they dumped the man but started a friendship and a pact. Each woman, swore off dating in pursuit of focusing on their own personal and professional goals. However, it's that exact moment when you're not looking for love that it finds you.

This installment, follows London Kelly a pediatric surgeon who works at a hospital in Austin, TX that is under financial scrutiny and risks being sold. A consulting firm is hired to audit the hospital, and this firm is led by London's high school rival Drew - who also happens to be extremely wealthy, good looking, and single. Drew and London can't deny they have chemistry and quickly devise a plan to hook-up on the side, but remain completely professional at work and keep all feelings out of the equation. However, this is a romance novel so you can imagine how that goes...

💜 For me the moments that really shine are the scenes when London, Samiah, and Taylor are all together bantering and having girl talk - that's the true love story in this series.

One of my most anticipated reads for this year and didn’t disappoint. Loved it and enjoyed it. I really love the author writing style and the characters of her books.

I loved all the books in this trilogy. It is about 3 strong women who were all wronged by the same man at the same time. What I loved was that instead of them blaming each other and becoming enemies, they were mature and realized that they need to befriend and lift each other up and keep supporting each other. They have a bond that was wonderful to read about. This book is the conclusion and I think the author did a great job of keeping the focus on London and Drew but not abandoning the other couples from previous books. She was able to tie up the stories of all 3 very well and it closed out the whole trilogy nicely.

This was a great story and I loved the chemistry between the main characters. It was also nice to see that Drew respected and supported London's dedication to her career.

The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon is book 3 and the final book in this series. Fitting end to a fun romance series. Very much enjoyed this! Looking forward to future books from this author!

The third installment in this series was by far my favorite! I love all three of the besties, but London is near and dear to my heart. I love the way Farrah Rochon writes powerful themes like women in STEM, and strong females who conquer big challenges. She also knows how to bring the spice 👏🏻

Check this one out if you are looking for:
💙 Female doctor MC
💙 Enemies to lovers trope
💙 Frenemies with benefits to lovers
