{4 ☆} The Hookup Plan, a enemies to lovers novel written by Fallon Rochon is the third book in The Boyfriend Project following the love lives of three different friends. In this book we are following the life of pediatric surgeon London Kelley.
With rumours of London’s hospital being sold because of money troubles, she finds herself to be under a lot of stress. Her friends recommend she unwind by finding someone to hookup with, and her 10 year high school reunion gives her the perfect chance to do just that. She runs into her former academic rival Drew Sullivan at that very event and they decided to make a no strings attached hookup plan that ends up not going the way they wanted it to. Turns out that the whole reason Drew’s in town is because he’s the head of the audit team responsible for her hospital’s future… Uh oh.
I honestly loved this book so much. The banter in this book was amazing and the characters (especially the mcs) were even better. I’m a little sad that I didn’t read the other books in the series before reading this one, but it’s alright because they can all be read as standalones.
I definitely recommend this book and would also like to say happy pre release day!! (The Hookup Plan comes out tomorrow - Aug 2nd 2022!!)
(I am extremely sorry for sending the feedback so late. I thought I’d already sent it)

This was a cute book. I think fans of Grey's Anatomy or other medical dramas would like it because of the hospital setting. There are a lot of sex scenes, if you can't tell from the title lol, so if you don't like spice or prefer closed door romance, you might want to skip this one.

Dr. London Kelley loves her job and loves her Hospital. But due to funding the hospital may be sold and London worries about the impact that could have on her patients.
Enter Drew Sullivan. Millionaire hotshot. But is he coming to save the hospital or be the one to shut it down.
These two should stay far apart from each other, … but they also just spent the night together. Whoops
A classic enemies to lovers trope.
While I didn't love this book it was still a cute story.

Thoroughly enjoyed THE HOOKUP PLAN by Farrah Rochon, for me, it was the best book in the series.
Drew and London both had parent issues that stood in the middle, allowing them to blame themselves for the way their life was going. As a Rom-Con their fears and hurts were real both used humor to deal with the pain. A few ding-bats as secondary characters,
I know this is the end but I would love to see Drew and London have a Happily Ever After, I am happy for their Happy Now.
Thank you to NetGalley and Farrah Rochon for the honor of reading this book, above is my honest review.

4.5 Stars ⭐️ - Top Pick
Dr. London Kelley is overworked and stressed. Her girlfriends convince her that she just needs to hook up with someone and have a bit of fun. She attends her high school reunion and runs into Drew. He was her main competition in high school. She lived to take him down. She have to admit that he is looking very good and not to mention he is successful. It wouldn’t hurt to use him as her hookup plan?
Drew is in town for business. He never anticipated hooking up with London but he has to admit that he is enjoying it. The two are still bumping heads as he is there to scope out the hospital where London works. He makes the final decision if it stays open. Once London finds out, there are right back at square one. Can he convince her that he is no longer the enemy?
This book embodies what I love in this trope. The main characters hate each other. They have different goals. However, they are mature enough to realize they are mildly attracted to one another despite being on opposite sides. They may even dabble but they are clear about their intentions.
It is the slow tension and the process of getting to know one another that melts all the bitterness away. It is just the right temperature. London has a lot on her plate. She has drama with her family, she is stressed about the hospital and she doesn’t know what to do with Drew. He is kind and wants to prove to her that he can be the man she wants. I love the banter between them. I love the friendships that was displayed. I believe you can read this as a stand alone but I think you may enjoy it more by reading the first two books in the series.
So why didn’t this get the full five-star rollout? Well, the first few intimate scenes with the couple was told to the readers. I wanted to get the passion and the details which came on after they started a romantic relationship. If the premise is that she is going to hookup with someone then let me know all the nitty gritty details. Don’t go fade to black on me!
Overall, this is a fun contemporary romance that I really enjoyed.

Farrah Rochon has done it again! This series follows three women who meet when they find out they have all been dating the same guy and a video of them confronting him goes viral. This final book is London's. Like her friends, Samaiah and Taylor, London is super strong and ambitious. She is a top pediatric surgeon who gives all to her job. Drew Sullivan changes all that when he waltzes back into her life at their high school reunion.
These two co-valedictorians find that while they may still have their differences, their chemistry isn't one of them. This enemies to lovers is super steamy. What begins as a simple agreement to be enemies with benefits, slowly turns into possible friends with benefits. Drew eventually starts to want more but London can't conceive of anything more than her work, patients, and hospital. Unfortunately for her, she quickly learns that Drew may be the biggest obstacle to keeping her hospital open when he shares why he is back in town.
My favorite thing about these books is the female friendship and support for one another. While the romance and chemistry between Drew and London is definitely fantastic, the side story of women supporting women is really heady stuff. The banter is great. London never holds back and I love that about her. There are some pretty heavy topics with loss of parent, emotional abuse and, of course, references to London's pediatric patients but it is all dealt with in a super respectful way that never becomes too much. I have really enjoyed getting to know these three women and am looking for more from this author in the future!

The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon was such a fun and sexy read. It follows London Kelley, a very successful pediatric surgeon who has been feeling stressed out lately and just needs to bring some balance and relaxation to her life. According to her best friends, what she really needs is a casual hookup – a night of fun but with no strings attached. No one is more shocked than London when the opportunity presents itself at her high school reunion in the form of Drew Sullivan, London’s high school arch nemesis and co-valedictorian.
I’m a big fan of the rivals-to-lovers trope so I was thoroughly entertained by the sparks that flew between London and Drew. It was hilarious learning about how competitive they were in high school and especially about how much Drew got under London’s skin. It’s clear that whatever their relationship was back then, they are definitely attracted to each other present day and that Drew might be exactly the stress relief London has been looking for.
It’s not smooth sailing for the two of them, however. In fact, it’s pretty darn rocky because it turns out that Drew isn’t just in town for the reunion. He works for a company that is evaluating the state of the hospital London works at to determine its future, particularly if it should be sold. London’s hospital is one that currently caters to lower income families, and she fears that what Drew and his company are doing could make it harder for those families to receive the care they need. Is London’s arch nemesis from high school still her arch nemesis or can she believe him when he says he’s a good guy? You’ll have to read the book to find out!
The Hookup Plan has a little something for everyone. There’s plenty of steamy scenes between London and Drew, but then there are also some fabulous female friendships as well as some heartwarming scenes between London and her young patients. It was just an all around fun and satisfying read and I highly recommend to fans of the rivals-to-lovers and enemies-to-lovers tropes.

I love Farrah Rochon! I am so glad London got her story. She’s my favorite in the series! Loved her story- she’s flawed and relatable. So good!
I received an ARC from NetGalley, however this review is my own.

It’s official: The Hookup Plan is my favorite of The Boyfriend Project series. Book 1 had work place romance, which is a fun trope. Book 2 had fake dating, which is my favorite trope. And book 3 has got enemies to lovers, which is a trope I’m starting to love—when it’s done right.
This was done right!
High school nemesis who still can’t stand each other 15 years later? AND they both acknowledge the ridiculousness of their academic rivalry that is still impacting them in their 30s? AND they are now forced to work with each other while keeping their unexpected, unintended but can’t-stop-coming-back-for-more casual relationship under wraps? Here for it!
Between the teasing, the banter and the undeniable attraction, London’s and Drew’s chemistry had me on edge (in the best way) for the majority of the book. Things settled down as they softened toward each other (mostly London softening toward Drew because he falls hard and fast first!) and as they learned to be vulnerable with one another, but the back and forth was still there to the end.
Both London and Drew are extremely ambitious and driven. This commonality made them competitors in teen hood, but in adulthood, it lends to a mutual understanding between the two. Initially on opposite ends— London is trying to prevent her beloved hospital from being sold and Drew is on the auditing team whose assessment will impact the future of said hospital—they soon discover they share the same goal for the hospital’s fate and must learn to work together.
I loved how passionate London was about her work. As a pediatric surgeon, she advocates not only for patients in her care, but also everyone at the hospital she encounters from staff to nurses to doctors. She’s well-respected and treats people with respect. To her, simple actions go a long way. Drew’s drive to succeed comes from a very personal place of pain and hurt. Former hedge fund manager who has accumulated significant wealth, he has a very giving heart. Despite the withholding of information at the start of the book (all was eventually forgiven, but it still irked me!), you see how thoughtful and caring he is throughout the story.
While the romances from these three books are fun & lighthearted with just enough ~seriousness~ mixed in, what I’ve enjoyed the most is the female friendships. Samiah, Taylor and London truly are the three best friends that anyone could have. What makes their friendship so special is that these are newly-formed friendships that couldn’t have come at a better time for each of them—I love that for them! Making friends as an adult can be challenging!
I’m sad to see the series come to an end, but this book was a satisfying conclusion. The epilogue was perfection. The continuity between all three books was so seamless, and each book was better than the one before.
p.s. No third act break up 👏🏽
[CW: death of a parent, cancer, grief, domestic abuse mentioned, gaslighting by a parent, workplace sexism]
Thank you to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Such a fun, fast-paced read. I loved London and Drew’s sharp banter and their history as academic rivals. Everything about this book was playful and clever and it definitely made me was to check out Farrah Rochon’s other titles!

This is the first book I've read from Farrah Rochon, but I will definitely be checking out more of their books! I really enjoyed this romance, and the characters were all excellent. I would definitely recommend this book!
I received an e-ARC from the publisher.

I loved this series and I am going to miss this trio so much. I love London's confidence. It's not arrogance she simply knows she's the best and doesn't let anyone change her mind about that fact. Not even family who should love her. I also liked the discussion about health because Black women especially are known to take on the pressures of the world but not take care of themselves. Also Drew is an icon, content to sit back and watch London do her own thing never stopping her from pursuing her dreams. Plus I love a good second chance former academic rivals romance! What a wonderful bow on the series of three wonderful stories.

Thank you so much to Forever and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of The Hookup Plan! This is the third book in The Boyfriend Project series, but it’s the first one I’ve read and since I liked it so much, it’s time to go read the other two books!
The Hookup Plan 4/5 Stars
Summary from Goodreads: Strong female friendships and a snappy enemies-to-lovers theme take center stage in this highly anticipated romantic comedy from the USA Today bestselling author of The Dating Playbook.
Successful pediatric surgeon London Kelley just needs to find some balance and de-stress. According to her friends Samiah and Taylor, what London really needs is a casual hookup. A night of fun with no strings. But no one—least of all London—expected it to go down at her high school reunion with Drew Sullivan, millionaire, owner of delicious abs, and oh yes, her archnemesis.
Now London is certain the road to hell is paved with good sex. Because she’s found out the real reason Drew’s back in Austin: to decide whether her beloved hospital remains open. Worse, Drew is doing everything he can to show her that he’s a decent guy who actually cares. But London’s not falling for it. Because while sleeping with the enemy is one thing, falling for him is definitely not part of the plan.
First, I loved that this book was set in Austin! I lived in Austin for a couple of years post college and there were so many recognizable landmarks in this book that it made me feel super nostalgic for my time over there (it might be time for a visit…). Secondly, I loved all of the characters so much! London was such a great main character and I loved that she was a pediatric surgeon- I love getting a look into people’s days when they work jobs that I was once interested in being. I also loved her friendship with Taylor and Samiah and how they always tried to make time for each other no matter how busy their days seemed. Drew was also such a great love interest. I really liked hearing about how long he had been into London and how much he liked her. Plot wise, I really liked the whole idea of Drew’s company having to come in and run an audit on London’s hospital. There were a couple of times where I wanted more from that end of the plot (give me consequences for the board! What happened to some of Drew’s other projects?) but the romance plot was great! Overall, I really enjoyed the Hookup Plan, and since it came out on August 2, you can pick it up today too!

Another fun one in the Boyfriend Project series. I love the set up of this series- three women dating the same man, meet and toss the man to the curb, but become friends. I loved the first book in the series, still need to read the second one, but was also charmed by this one, the third in the series.Thankfully, these don't necessarily need to be read in order as long as you read The Boyfriend Project first.
The Hook up plan is London's story. She is a workaholic, pediatric surgeon, who is determined to find a hobby. Besides her weekly girls night, she begins to crochet. But this hobby isn't enough to calm down her high blood pressure so she must find alternative things to settle her mind....In walks her high school arch nemesis, Drew. London and Drew were rivals and even shared the honor of valedictorian- much to London's dismay. But after seeing each other at their high school reunion, they begin to hook up...but just hook up- no feelings allowed. We all know how well a "no feelings" relationship goes...not well. London and Drew not only are hooking up, but they are temporarily working together at her hospital.
What I loved about this story was London- she is a fierce and outspoken character. She knows what she wants and she isn't afraid to ask for it. She really grows throughout the novel. She is dealing with childhood trauma- an inattentive father and throughout the novel and her relationship with Drew she starts to see how this is affecting her still.
This is more than just a romcom. This is a story of a woman putting herself and her feelings first.
I highly recommend this series. The writing and characters are fab!

This was a cute romance. I did love the strong female protagonist. I wish that it would have been steamier and for some reason I didn’t fall in love with their relationship. Something was missing for me.

This is another great book on this great series! Fun rom com with light steamy scenes and a light hearted read! If you're a fan of the series, then you'll be a fan of this one too.

This is such a fun addition to a really awesome and fun series. It involves like ALL of my favorite tropes, seriously well-executed enemies to lovers, limited relationship/agreed upon one-nightstand, real, relatable job, stress, it's everything and more. London and Drew are so hot together. Like smoking. The banter is great, and the friendships are fun and fabulous. Every minute of this is a joy.

London is a pediatric surgeon based in Austin, she meets her high school nemesis and co-valedictorian Drew at their high school reunion. London and Drew may be arch rivals but no harm in hooking up with no strings attached? Only issue is Drew is in town to also decide the future of the hospital London works at.
This was my first Farrah Rochan book and I enjoyed the enemies to lovers dynamics between London and Drew. This book has a lot of complex family relationship struggles that are well written. I also liked the way London and Drew fell for each other. I felt that London and Drew's high flying careers were a little over the top and the money factor was a little repetitive. It was nice to see the emphasis on self care and strong female friendships. Overall a nice read. Will be reading the first two books in this series soon.

The perfect book to end a reading slump
I absolutely adored The Hookup Plan! The characters (except for Kenneth Kelley of course), to the love forming between London and Drew, and the #blackexcellence that is written all over the pages.
Here are some of my thoughts:
💜 Once again, this book is giving . . . #blackexcellence. Everyone was working, or working towards, successful careers and it was a joy to read about.
💜 London and Drew’s banter with one another was perfect and their dynamic was unmatched. I was slightly annoyed with London at first because her stubbornness almost led her to not give Drew a real chance. But the build up to them becoming comfortable with one another was worth it.
💜 I really loved London’s growth throughout the story. When Drew told her that she would, unfortunately, not be able to have her sensory room at the hospital, I was expecting her to blame him for the setback and pin him for the guy she believed he was. But her reaction to the news showed that she finally realized that Drew was never the man she imagined him to be. Also, nothing like her father.
💜 The slow-burn romance was enjoyable. The amazing build up of affection and comfortability that stemmed from an agreement that was suppose to be just sex was worth following along.
💜 “I’ve been in love with the idea of you for more than a decade . . . But now, after getting to know the real you, to say that I’m in love feels inadequate. I’m not sure what the words are for how I feel, I just know it’s a feeling that I never want to lose.” UGH DREW 😩🥰

✨A couple of months ago I went to an event with @readforeverpub in which this book was featured! I honestly didn’t think I’d love it as much as I did. It was really refreshing to read a true enemies to lovers book. I loved the emphasis on friendship, I loved the vulnerability when sticking up for yourself especially with family members. I loved the courage it takes to allow yourself to open up to love. I absolutely adored this, laugh out loud, and delightful read! Grab it and get to know how Drew and London fall in love!
