This is book 3 in the series and I think the author has found her groove! This was my favorite of the three and it was so stinkin fun. The characters were delightful, as was their romance. It gets STEAMY y’all! If that’s not your thing, you can glide over it. The plot was fresh and authentic, with amazing character development. This one was just a delight!

Competence porn is right up there for me and this book delivered that in spades! Easily my favorite or joint favorite in the series so far, I had a lot of fun reading and rooting for London and Drew as they navigated their way to their HEA. London had been a fav from the other books and Drew is such a sweetie. PLUS, no 3rd act breakup!!!! YESSS!

Seeing Samiah and Taylor made me feel all gooey :)

Thanks so much to Forever Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC.

The Hookup Plan is my favorite of this series! I adored London's story. The chemistry and sex are so hot in this book, but it also tackles important social and emotional issues so well. I'm sad to be saying goodbye to these characters, but I'm looking forward to whatever Rochon writes next!

The Hookup Plan is part three of The Boyfriend Project trilogy. A delectable enemies to lovers story that has our main characters, London and Drew, crossing paths at their high school reunion. London is a successful surgeon and Drew is an Uber wealthy bachelor. Despite their dislike for each other neither of them can ignore the attraction they feel in each other's presence. What seems like some innocent hookup fun turns into something much more serious they realize they are mixing pleasure with business. I really enjoyed the banter between Drew and London. Super cute and often funny, and definitely some spice!! I do not think this book is the strongest of the series but it was a cute read nonetheless and a solid romcom. Thank you to NetGalley and Forever- Grand Central Publishing for an ARC of The Hookup Plan in exchange for my honest review. 4 stars.

Ugh I just love this series and anything Farrah Rochon writes. This book had so much going on in it in the best way possible. I love the way the author writes contemporary romance. The steam and story line were just *chefs kiss*. I just loved this so much!!

Thank you Forever Reads for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my review .

London Kelly attends her high school reunion which she was involved in organizing only to see her arch enemy Drew there. Drew made high school hellish for her. She always felt he took away her spotlight from being the top student as she was forced to be co-valedictorian with him. The one upside is - that he doesn’t live in town anymore so she won’t have to deal with him. She ends up hooking up with Drew only to discover they have great chemistry!. He is going to be working as a consultant preparing an audit at the hospital to try and determine how to fix the financial issues the hospital is having or if the hospital should be sold off.

This is the first book I read, I didn’t realize it was part of a series so it reads well as a stand-alone book even though it is the third book in a series. This book was an enemies to lovers trope which seems to be a popular romcom trope. It seems like most of the romcoms I have read recently fall under this trope. I did enjoy this book and I enjoyed the banter between the two characters. There was a side story that dealt with London’s challenging relationship with her father.

I really liked the way the relationship between Drew and London was handled, there was one component I really liked that didn’t occur in this book which often happens in these books. I don’t want to give more details because I don’t want to spoil it.

If you haven’t read the series you may want to pick up the other books first but if not I think you will enjoy this one. It’s a fun summer romcom with a bit of heat.

This book was so fun! I love stubborn mc and workaholic mcs and this was everything. And to top it all off the plot surrounded an audit, I never get to see my job in books so I’m freaking pumped.

I think this was a perfect way to round out the Boyfriend Project books and can’t wait to see what else she comes up with!

This is the first book I've read by author Farrah Rochon, but it won't be my last. It's a smart, propulsive, spicy contemporary romance (a little spicier than I usually read, but I'm not surprised considering the title.) I enjoyed London, the talented resident at her local hospital, who meets up with her high school nemesis Drew. It follows the enemies-to-lovers trope, but in a slightly unusual way. The author did a fantastic job of peeling away what makes London and Drew how they are. If you're looking for a fun summer read, throw this in your beach bag. I love reading books with strong women friendships and I'm looking forward to reading Rochon's other books focusing on London's best friends Samiah and Taylor.

3.25 ⭐️ London Kelley is smart and beautiful. A brilliant black female pediatric surgeon and still holds such hostility towards Drew Sullivan, her rival and co-valedictorian, since high school. Much to her dismay, he shows up to their 15-year reunion. Do things go downhill from there for London? Maybe? Maybe not?

This is my first book of Farrah Rochon. It’s rivals to lovers trope, fast-paced but definitely not slow burn. As much I love their banter, I found London very bitter and a tad harsh with Drew at the start. Eventually she grew on me in the later chapters. Drew was divine. He could do no wrong in my eyes.

I like the premise but felt it lacked drama. It was still a sweet read though.

London and Drew are coming in hot! After reading the first two books in this series, it was a no-brainer to pick up this one. While you don't have to read the first two books to follow the storyline, that shouldn't stop you from picking up these witty and entertaining books! This one contains one of my favorite tropes: enemies to lovers, and I liked that Drew and London were characters with a past. Their shared history added a fun dynamic to their relationship, and I loved the way they challenged each other. Rochon's steamy scenes are always *chef's kiss*, and this one wastes no time getting to the steam. This third book of Rochon's that I have read solidified her as one of my auto-buy, go to authors, and I can't wait to see what she comes out with next! Thank you to the publisher for the early digital copy of this book!

The Hookup Plan is the last novel in The Boyfriend Project series. This is an high school academic rivals to enemies with benefits to lovers romance. We follow London and Drew who reunite at their high reunion and decide to form a hookup plan. Both London and Drew agree to this plan for different reasons. I loved that this love story was a little more mature. Both Drew and London have found and worked hard for the success they have in their careers. Both are fighting to do better and use their talents to truly help those who need help. The way they communicate and actually think about one another and their roles in each other’s lives was refreshing to see. I loved that Drew was gone upon seeing London again and I loved watching cautious London take a chance not only in her love life but in other aspects of her life. I loved the talk about self care and balance. I think a lot of us forget to take care of ourselves or allow others to help us especially our loved ones. This was by far my fave out of the three and I am excited to read more from Farrah Rochon.

When London, a pediatric surgeon, realizes that her number one enemy from high school Drew, mega millionaire trust fund boy, is at their high school reunion, she tries to avoid him at all costs. She harbors a lot of dislike for Drew over the years for having to share her valedictorian spot with him. With that being said, her friends have prescribed her to have some good meaningless sex to help with her elevated stress level, so who better than to fulfill those needs than Drew? Naturally, it is never meaningless, especially with their history.

This was a fantastic fun read that was jam packed with romance and steamy moments. The tension between Drew and London was almost palpable! The sex scenes were steamy, but they left some room for imagination for the reader. It was also enjoyable getting to see their relationship blossom. The characters of Drew and London were so well described, I felt like they were my old friends. I also enjoyed the side stories of London with her siblings and Drew facing old anxieties and shame about his mother passing.

This was a feel good book that I truly enjoyed, although it wasn't anything ground breaking. Thank you to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

An ARC was generously provided by Net Galley. My opinion is my own.

Enemies. Enemies with benefits. Frenemies with benefits. There in describes the relationship between Taylor Kelley and Drew Sullivan who are former rivals from high school Taylor Kelley is a pediatric surgeon who is your typical superwoman. Needing to find balance and de-stress her life, she decides sex with Drew is just what she needs. But that one time becomes so enjoyable, she wants more. As for Drew he wants more than just sex and insists that the two must date.. This book is an excellent conclusion to Farrah Rochon's series which began with The Boyfriend Project. The friendship bond between the three women is as strong as ever.

This book tells the story of London, an incredibly talented pediatric surgeon at a county hospital in her hometown of Austin. At her 15-year high school reunion, she runs into her old high school rival and nemesis, Drew. Drew made London’s life a nightmare in school, challenging her at every turn and ending up sharing the valedictorian spot with her.

She’s never forgiven him.

Drew, who has become a multi-millionaire businessman, remembers it differently. Their competition in school was fun, and a way to engage with the girl he had always had a crush on.

The two hookup after the reunion, which London believes will receive her of some pent-up stress and not be a big deal, because of course Drew will be leaving again.

What she doesn’t know, however, is that Drew is back in town on business that could affect both her life and her career, and that his assignment means they will have to be working closely together for the near future.

After finding out she realizes that she still hates him, but also that the sparks between them are undeniable.

Enter the hookup plan.

This was a really sweet story, with incredibly fleshed-out and nuanced characters. I enjoyed the dialogue and thought London was a fantastic main character. Like I said, I am a sucker for rivals-to-lovers, and I thought the author did that well, though I would have been okay with the tension simmering a little bit longer.

There were a couple of side plots in this one that slowed it down a little bit too much for me, and though those did help to round out the characters, I found them pulling focus from the romance at times, but all-in-all I really enjoyed it.

Just a note that this is actually the third book in a series (The Boyfriend Project), but it also works as a standalone. I have not read the first two in the series, although I might go back and do that now because I really enjoyed this author’s writing!

The Hookup Plan was the perfect book to end The Boyfriend Project series. I really enjoyed London and Drew's story but I love how the story's core focus was always on the girls friendship/sisterhood. I loved the ending line in the epilogue. I appreciated the themes that the book focused on: death of a parent and child guilt over the situation, strained father/daughter relationship, the country's health care system, and the struggles a minority female encounters at work. Many thanks to Forever and Farrah for the eARC and finished copy in exchange for my honest review. I'm recommending the entire series to my friends!

4.5 Stars. This is the third and I believe final book in Farrah Rochon’s The Boyfriend Project series. When high school rivals, London Kelley and Drew Sullivan run into each other again at a high school reunion, the two exchange words and end up hooking up. When London returns to work at the hospital she learns that Drew’s firm is auditing the hospital and he will be around a lot more than she would like. The pair begin a no-strings-attached hookup arrangement while Drew is in town. As the pair spend more time together the physical connection turns into emotions.

I really enjoyed this romance. I found both London and Drew to be interesting and and wonderful main characters. I loved that both knew their worth and the worth of each other. I found their dynamic with each other very fun and enjoyed watching them fall in love as they spent more and more time with each other. I liked that their backgrounds and side stories were well developed enough that both of their story lines felt complete and well rounded. Those who enjoyed the first two books in the series will be pleased to see the ladies from those book, but this one can be read and enjoyed as a standalone.

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The Hookup Plan is the third and last book in the Boyfriend Project series. It’s about London Kelley a pediatric surgeon who is looking for work/life balance and to manage her stress better. Her friends, Samiah and Taylor, think she really needs a casual hookup. She reconnects with Drew Sullivan, her rival, at their high school reunion where they unexpectedly hookup.

Come Monday morning, London finds out that Drew is now working as a consultant at her hospital. After the initial shock of seeing Drew there, they make a plan to hook up, with no strings. But we all know how that typically goes…

I enjoyed The Hookup Plan and I related to London in a few ways - high stress job, trying to manage the stress and learning self care…always a work in progress. I also enjoyed how London and Drew’s relationship developed. Even though this is the last book in the series, it can be read alone.

Read this if you enjoy:
- Rivals to lovers
- Workplace romance
- He falls first
- Open door romance

Sometimes I peter out by the third book in a trilogy, but I am so glad that I ended up reading this one! London’s story ended up being my absolute favorite of the three. I kept thinking, “please don’t mess up this ending, please don’t mess up this ending” - and you know what? Farrah Rochon did not mess up the ending. I’m sad to see Samiah, Taylor, and London’s stories come to a close, but so happy to have been on the journey.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC of this book!

I really enjoyed this one. Sure, parts were a little predictable but if you’re an avid enjoyer of romance novels, you know the tropes. In this case, the characters are enjoyable, the banter is good, and the payoff is worth it. Pretty decent 🌶 scenes as well! I would give this one 4/5 stars plus 🌶🌶 peppers. If you are into romance books, you want an enjoyable read, and you support POC authors and leads, then I can’t recommend this one enough!
