This was a cute read. It’s the third book in the series but it can be read as a standalone.
I enjoyed the banter between london and drew. but what really stuck with me is the family dynamics. how hard it must’ve been for london to grow up in such a household. and how it impacted her future relationships with her siblings.
but the romance part was nice. u get to see london learning to trust drew despite their high school rivalry.
overall this was fun.
thank u netgalley for the ARC.

London Kelly is a pediatric surgeon who begins hooking up with her high school rival and nemesis Drew Sullivan in order to relieve stress and relax, the relationship is of course casual with no strings attached. No feelings, that's easy enough. What could go wrong?
Enemies to lovers, spice, dual POV, hospital setting, badass independent woman, and hilarious banter.
Coming into The Hookup Plan I had not previously read any books written by Farrah Rochon and wondered if my experience would be reduced reading the final book in The Project Boyfriend Series as a standalone but I did not find this to be the case at all. From general research into the other books in the series the female main characters from the previous two books do appear as friends, so there is familiarity for those who have context but not so much that new readers are lost.
This book truly has all of the elements I love (and look for) in contemporary romance books. The first being enemies to lovers, which compliments the characters and setting perfectly to increase the sexual tension, banter, insight into London’s inner thoughts, etc. I really enjoyed the dual POV in this book, being able to read the contrasting perspectives from the characters in a situation made the book more hilarious and endearing to me.
A special aspect of the book for me was the representation of visible minorities main characters. Main characters in popular books are predominantly white so it is always great to see better diversity in literature regardless of the age group.
I also am a sucker for badass powerful women in STEM. I, and I’m sure many others, will be able to relate to the depth of London’s character. While at first glance she is a driven overachiever with a controlling attitude, beyond that is a vulnerability and exhaustion. It is a great perspective to give insight on especially with many negative snap judgments individuals tend to make regarding independent women in the workplace and also to reinforce the idea that regardless of how put together one might look, we are all trying to find our place in this world too.
The Hookup Plan is a book that offers something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you are looking for spice, romance, interesting character dynamics, strong independent female representation, a good laugh, or all of the above, The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon is the book to read.
A big thank you to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and NetGalley for the eARC.

The Hookup Plan
The third installment of @farrahrochon ’s The Boyfriend Project did not disappoint!
London and Drew hook up at their high school reunion thinking it’s a one-time thing, until London realizes Drew is in town auditing the hospital she’s a resident at. While they started off as enemies in high school, they soon discover that maybe it was all a miscommunication.
Still one of my favorite parts of this series is the friendship between Samiah, Taylor, and London! I love that they each got their own story and we still get to see their relationships in these stories.
Thank you to @netgalley and @readforeverpub for my e-ARC of The Hookup Plan!

This is the third book in The Boyfriend Project series. In the first book, three women become friends when they find out they've each been dating the same guy and a video of them collectively confronting him in a restaurant goes viral. This installment is about London, a brilliant pediatric surgery resident, who crosses paths at her class reunion with Drew, her now incredibly rich and successful high school nemesis. She still blames him for stealing her spotlight as the smartest kid in school. But by the end of the night, sparks are flying. She thought she wouldn't see him again for a long time, but it turns out that he's in town for more than their reunion. Their one night stand blossoms into a relationship that forces London to really think about what she wants.
These books have romance with both steam and depth. The whole series is great, and I've enjoyed them all.

A delightful conclusion to this trio of friends. London needs to chill, and Drew is the just the man to help her do that. She is a complete workaholic and you can see why in the pact she made with her friends hers was to find a hobby. Drew complimented London nicely and I appreciated that he wanted her to relax, but also understood what was important to her and why and never expected her to compromise her values.
Again the trio of friends really shines through. Samiah and Taylor call London on her BS, without being awful about it and despite not knowing each other for very long they have a strong bond. London also spends some time bonding with her half siblings and she grew in this area a lot.

Thank you @farrahrochonbooks @netgalley @readforeverpub @grandcentralpub for the free earc copy!
Out now!! Pub day was last week 8/2 and my paperback(s) has arrived!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (0-5)
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥 (0-5)
What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 It’s book 3 in the Boyfriend Project series. It was fun to meet Samiah and Taylor; but, it was totally fine that I hadn’t read their stories (yet). You can read this as a standalone novel.
🤩 Cute friend group!!! Have you read the Central Park Pact series by Lauren Layne? It’s a similar three-timing boyfriend situation and makes for really sweet, supportive, and loving friendships.
🤩 Super fun meetup/re-meet cute at the 15-year high school reunion. I’m such a sucker for an adorable meet cute. A re-meet cute works too!
🤩 Enemies-to-lovers with “just a hook-up”(s) and a little forbidden/workplace romance vibe—so much angst and so much steam.
🤩 I love Drew—how he’s never actually considered London an enemy & how he’s in an “always been you” situation instead. Drew fell first, never stopped falling, and just waits it out, enjoying the ride. I also love that while he waits for London to be ready, he makes a move when the time is right.
🤩 I love London—how she is a badass surgeon and has so much love and care for her patients. The transformation she makes as a loving older sister is fantastic!!!
🤩 There’s something really special about how these two become (and realize) just what the other person needs in order to heal and grow and thrive.
🤩 I appreciate the representation of health issues (as I’m stressed to the max with my own wacky nerve causing me heart problems) and struggles with healthy eating—even a very smart, very successful surgeon has difficulty passing up the sugary treats at work, etc.
What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 The end was so filled with goodness and sweetness but I wish there was a little steam toward the end as well.
💫 As a doctor and all the good she’s about, it would be extra good if London promoted and utilized some personal counseling/therapy for the trauma she’s emotionally struggling with.
Possible Triggers:
🔬 Emotional abuse from a parent.
🔬 Parent died of cancer.

The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon is an enemies to lovers romance with characters that are reunited at their high school reunion. This book isn't just about the love story between London and Drew. It also deals with their jobs(which intertwine) and family issues that have held each of them back. I really loved reading their story
When I picked this up I didn't realize it was a series. I will definitely be going back to read books 1 and 2. A perfect book for the summer!
Thank you to Net Galley, Forever (Grand Central Publishing), and Farrah Rochon for the advanced readers copy in exchange for my honest review.

I love when two people plan to not catch feelings for one another and then they do! I love the adventure and time it takes and all of the ways in which we got to know the characters along the way.
This was a wonderful read and I can't wait to read more by Farrah Rochon in the future.

I really enjoyed this enemies to lovers romance between London, a pediatric surgeon, and Drew, a partner in the consulting firm that's come to audit the hospital where London works. Their banter is electric right from the start, when they meet again at their high school reunion for the first time since they graduated 15 years ago. This book followed some typical romance tropes, but nothing felt contrived or forced. There is a lot of humor and witty/sarcastic banter between London and Drew, and the overall feel is lighthearted. This does touch on some heavier topics, though, as you might expect from a hospital setting. Ultimately, this story is all about focusing on what matters most, about letting go of and/or learning from the past, and moving forward with a path that feels right to you, along with friends and family who support you.
CW for death (in the past) of a parent from cancer. Gaslighting, emotionally detached parent. Mention of health issues in a pediatric hospital setting.
I read an e-arc from NetGalley, in exchange for my unbiased review. Thank you to the publisher.

As to be expected from the other two books in this series, this was SO good! Farrah Rochon is a very consistent author - I have loved everything I've read so far.
I love how FR is able to bring the steam, the sass, and the story all while tailoring each book perfectly to it's character. London's character is written so well for her legendary, sassy, genius doctor self.
The drama was good, the love interest was great, and all the family stuff as well?! London has her hands full in typical over-worked London fashion - she also handles it in typical to-the-point, badass London fashion.
Of course I can't wait to read whatever FR gives us next! All three in this series were incredible reads with great stories. I read this one but I've heard them on audio too - any format is great!

This is the first novel I've read in the Boyfriend Project series.
The Hookup Plan connects to high school rivals, after 15 years apart.. I enjoyed that the female protagonists knew what she wanted, and went for it. What I couldn't get over was how much she clung to her resentment of a grown ass man after so much time apart - clearly this level of perfection is so unhealthy and she a freakin' doctor!
I enjoyed Drew's character so much more as he was down to earth, caring and willing to give London everything to have her love after pinning over her for years. Overall the romance was to subdued as it seemed like is was the back burner to the hospital issues and the rivalry from high school. The best part of the book was London's best friends, Samiah and Taylor.
Thank you Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the advance reader copy.

The enemies to lovers romance that will make you catch feelings right along with the characters.
LONDON & DREW
London is a bad-ass pediatric surgeon that with all that notoriety and work ethic, is in need of finding ways to decompress and self care. After much needed advice from her besties (that we have met in past books) convince her that she needs to let off some steam with some hot nights with a partner. But for a busy surgeon, it’s not that easy.
Insert a good old high school reunion where she sees her old nemesis Drew and just like in all genius rivals to lovers story, the fuel behind the hate is also the fuel to heated moments. After the heated night with Drew, London learns that Drew is in town for a huge reason. He is in town to audit her hospital! Her hospital has been in a financial crisis for some time now.
London now has to play nice with Drew after years of full on animosity and all that banter is the tension I am needing in my life at this moment. They end up developing a hooking-up system to let off steam, but not getting attached. (Do we love when they still fall for each other? YES WE DO!!)
DO I RECOMMEND?
Heck yes I do!
I love that Farrah Rochon took time to break down emotional development for both London and Drew. Their journey to fall in love is so beautiful. Especially since Drew has been secretly crushing and pinning over London since back in the day. We love a long standing pinning.
As per usual with the Boyfriend Project series, The Hookup Plan has great showcasing of female friendship. The group of girlfriends is still the best ever with laughs, great advice, and unshakeable bond. I will also never tire of seeing successful and driven women being fawned over by swoony heroes, NEVER!
The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon is out today and I urge you to pick up a copy! This is top tier, top shelf enemies to lovers goodness that will set your heart on fire!

“I can’t believe I’m about to say this.” She paused for a moment, then shook her head. “But you are exactly what I’ve been looking for, Drew Sullivan.”
I enjoyed The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon. It’s frenemies with benefits, so it gets tense and hot, but also has some sweetness and heavy real life relatable moments weaved in. I loved the banter between London and Drew and just the fact that this was HS rivals to adult… whatever they are now 😂 but also that this was about family and friendships too. Definitely recommend if you enjoy contemporary romance with FWB trope.
CW: discussions of parental death by cancer, toxic parent relationships, lite discussions of pediatric illness/health issues/surgeries

I loved this book. I really liked the main characters and I loved the subplots as well. The romance was also pretty believable and I like how they didn't make them have a ton of conflict. Overall, I really enjoyed this one!

This is the highly anticipated conclusion to the Boyfriend Project series, and follows London, a pediatric surgeon. With her high school reunion quickly approaching, and the stress of her residency looming - London decides that a no-strings-attached hookup is just what she needs to unwind. Enter high school arch nemesis but total hottie, Drew, into her life. What transpires is a laugh out loud, swoon-worthy, witty-banter-filled romance about enemies to lovers.
Oftentimes the male lead in an enemies to lovers can be hit or miss for me - but I am undoubtedly a sucker for the genre. Drew was just wonderful, and has the most heartbreaking backstory that just makes you love him even more. The fact that he has had a crush on her since high school, and that he pursues her throughout the entire story makes him a standout male character.
London has been an enjoyable character throughout the other books but getting to know London better through her own story was so incredibly enjoyable. She's a boss babe that holds herself to high standards, she is passionate, driven, stubborn in the best ways, and has a huge heart.
The witty banter in the entire series makes these books standout from the crowd, and I loved getting to see the dynamic of the three best friends - Taylor, Samiah, and London through the books. The men they fall in love with are such great matches for these ladies, and London's story was the perfect wrap-up to the series.
📌 Pub Date: August 2, 2022
I was given a copy of this story to read; but thoughts and opinions are all my own. Thank you to Netgalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the chance to read this book!

I enjoyed this cute romcom a lot! London Kelley is the epitome of strong female character and Drew is the sweet guy that anyone would be lucky to have. The enemies to lovers was done so well, it was sort of slow burn but in a good way. The one thing I did not enjoy about this book was that I was not invested in the plot. I could not have cared less if the hospital became private or not and I didn't enjoy reading about the inner-workings of a hospital sale. The romance was definitely the shining star of this book.
Successful pediatric surgeon London Kelley just needs to find some balance and de-stress. According to her friends Samiah and Taylor, what London really needs is a casual hookup. A night of fun with no strings. But no one—least of all London—expected it to go down at her high school reunion with Drew Sullivan, millionaire, owner of delicious abs, and oh yes, her archnemesis.
Now London is certain the road to hell is paved with good sex. Because she’s found out the real reason Drew’s back in Austin: to decide whether her beloved hospital remains open. Worse, Drew is doing everything he can to show her that he’s a decent guy who actually cares. But London’s not falling for it. Because while sleeping with the enemy is one thing, falling for him is definitely not part of the plan.

Farrah Rochon not only hit it out of the park with the first book of this trilogy, The Boyfriend Project, she then continued to up her game with book two, The Dating Playbook, finally wrapping things up with The Hookup Plan, my favorite of the series.
Enemies to Lovers is one of my favorite romance tropes and Rochon takes it to new heights with Drew and London. When uptight workaholic London finally decides to take her best friends' advice and indulge in a little one-night stress relief, who does she choose? None other than her high school nemesis, chief rival for valedictorian, current (surprise!) decider of her hospital's fate, and, yep, rocker of her sexual world. And if that isn't bad enough, the more time she spends with Drew, the more unwanted feelings seem to grow. Does she know how to choose them or what?
As I mentioned earlier, The Hookup Plan is my favorite of what is an exceptional trilogy by Rochon. London is such a complex character. I loved getting to know her better, uncovering the many factors that motivated her, watching her confront her emotional demons, evaluate her shortcomings, go to the mat for her patients, and reshuffle her priorities (learning that self-care is just as important as caring for others).
Drew captured my affection pretty quickly. I loved that he had secretly crushed on London in school. It was fascinating to learn his perspective on their "rivalry." He was pretty awesome but not perfect, carrying his own emotional baggage. I liked that he and London both had work to do on themselves. Their chemistry was fire but it was the conversations between them as they slowly lowered their guards, showed more of themselves, and began to form a real friendship that endeared them to me. I was cheering them on all the way to the finish line.
The friendship among London, Samiah, and Taylor continued to remain strong and supportive. These women are there for one another, celebrating the happy times, commiserating during the sad times, and not hesitating to apply a forceful nudge when necessary. They are the definition of friend that we should all be so lucky to have in our lives.
If you enjoy contemporary romance with humor, emotional depth, and strong friendships, pick up a copy of The Hookup Plan. It can be read as a standalone though I think the trilogy is more enjoyable if read in order.

The final book in the Boyfriend Project Trilogy - I'm kind of sad that it's over! I enjoyed reading each of the girls stories, and I was happy to finally get to London. A pediatric surgeon that works nonstop and had to create a hobby for herself...reunites with her high school nemesis and decides he would be the perfect way to get some "relaxation" aka sex. They have great chemistry and she reluctantly finds herself actually caring about him - and falling in love.
A kink (haha) is thrown into the situation when London finds out that Drew is actually the owner of the company tasked with auditing the hospital she works at to figure out the best plan for the hospital's future. He wants nothing more than to do what's best for London but has to do his job as well.
This is a fun enemies to lovers read. Farrah is an auto buy author for me, and I am already excited about her next book!

This was a fav of mine from Rochon. I have liked/loved her series she's created with these books, this being her third, but this one was definitely my favorite. I mean, it might just be me being biased toward second chance romances, but I also love London. She's a badass doctor and she's hilarious. I think the romance in this was super steamy and I was obsessed with the universe (sans her dad, we don't stan.) I'm def sad that it seems like this trio of friends all got their HEA's but I loved reading through all of them, this one being a great way to wrap it all up.

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for an advanced readers copy in exchange for my honest review.
The Hookup Plan is the third book in The Boyfriend Project series by Farrah Rochon. These are connected books that can be read as standalones, but I recommend reading the other two first because I just love this series!
- In The Boyfriend Project, we got Samiah’s story!
- In The Dating Playbook, we got Taylor’s story.
- Finally, in The Hookup Plan, we get London’s story, which I have been waiting for!
I really enjoyed the first two books, but London’s story was definitely my favorite. I loved the high school rivals hookup at their 15-year reunion, and then find out they have to work together storyline!
I liked how London’s character developed and grew in different ways throughout the story while still holding true to who she was. She is a strong female character, a badass pediatric surgeon, and knows what she wants in life, at least she thinks she does. Drew was such an endearing character, and I absolutely loved the way he genuinely cared about London.
If I had one complaint about this book, it’s that it could have use a little more steam! While there are some mild sex scenes, with a title like The Hookup Plan, I wanted more spice!
My favorite part of all of these books was the friendship between London, Samiah, and Taylor though. I was happy to see all of the ladies back in book three and loved the chapters with them. The banter between them was on point, and some of their scenes had me laughing out loud.
I’ve really enjoyed this series, and I look forward to reading whatever Rochon comes up with next!
