I thought this book had a great premise. The former high school enemies reconnect later in life. Yet, the guy has always had a secret crush on the girl. I love that London and Drew were well to do professionals, found their idea of success but were still faced with issues that were relatable to others that had nothing to do with poverty. I do wish it was a bit more spicy but nonetheless I liked it a lot.

I have absolutely loved this series, and in this final book we finally get London’s story! She’s probably the one that I identified the most with, so I was excited to learn more about her!!

My favorite thing about all three of these books has been the incredibly supportive, honest, and bad ass female friendships! Rochon is so talented at writing this - I hope she gives us more in the future, because I will miss these friends!

💜What to expect:
•Enemies to lovers
•Old high school rivals
•Strong, smart, caring surgeon heroine
•Multi millionaire hero with a heart - I have a MAJOR crush
•Great focus on work life and family balance
•Incredible friendships and updates on the girls!

As the final book in the series, I have to say I will miss these girls!! They are technically stand alone books, but read from the beginning for the best experience and full backstory!

I have enjoyed this series of friends and books by Farrah Rochon since I met them in "The Boyfriend Project". In this specific book, we get to know London. What starts as high school rivals, quickly becomes the foundation for a hookup plan to help London destress. From there and with the support of her friends, the reader is taken through a month of London's life as she explores her career choices, family choices and relationship choices. Drew turned out to be one of my favorite men written in in this series. He seemed so genuine and down to earth. While this book may be read as a stand-alone, there are details that would spoil the other two books and their characters. Thank you to NetGalley and Forever Publishing for an advanced copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own!

Read this if you like: Enemies to lovers, strong female lead, dual POV, slightly steamy 🔥

Ahhh. I have been waiting for London’s story. She's been my favorite in the series. This book did not disappoint! This is the final book of the women that got three timed by one guy. Sad to see this series be done. 😔

Successful pediatric surgeon London Kelley just needs to find some balance and de-stress. According to her friends Samiah and Taylor, what London really needs is a casual hookup. A night of fun with no strings. She goes to her 15 year high school reunion that she puts together. To everyone's surprise she hooks up with her highschool academic rival, who is now a millionaire.

Now London is certain the road to hell is paved with good sex. She finds out the real reason Drew’s back in Austin and she's passed. His company sent him to decide whether her beloved hospital remains open. Worse, Drew is doing everything he can to show her that he’s a decent guy who actually cares. London’s not falling for it.. or him.

The BANTER. Swoon. The banter itself deserves 5 stars. I love Drew and London so much. The previous books weren't exactly spicy but based on the plot of this I assumed this one would be steamy. It's not really. It's mostly fade to black with some not super detailed sex scenes. That's my only issue. I wanted more. The chemistry, however, is great throughout the whole book. I highly recommend this book and whole series!

Thank you for NetGalley, the author, and Forever/Grand Central Publishing for the gifted book! ❤️

Overall, I thought The Hookup Plan was an entertaining, sweet, and heartfelt story. It was filled with fun scenes and emotional ones too. That being said, there were several things holding me back from really loving it but it still made for an enjoyable read.

I loved the banter between Drew and London and watching their feelings develop as they reconnected. However, as the story went on, London’s thoughts of their time in high school got a bit wearing and made this great chemistry I felt between them fade a bit. I enjoyed learning their history and what made them tick. There's a bit of drama and heat and some humorous moments between them that I liked. I was thrilled when they finally shared their feelings from the past and things were out in the open, the growth was good but slow.

I liked learning about their personal conflicts and what they were dealing with as they found their way together. There were several great storylines set up with office politics and family drama, but in the end, I felt they were glossed over and easily resolved, making them fall flat. I loved the relationship that all three of the women have together and the bonds that they've formed, it’s those friendships that helped make the story shine.

I was really excited to read this since I loved the other two. There was a fast-paced start making me feel invested but about halfway through, it started to drag and I had a hard time staying connected. There were so many great scenes that I enjoyed but just as many that didn’t work for me. This may not be my favorite in the series but I'd still count it as a good read all the same.

This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story. The side characters were such an integral part of this story as well. This is the love story i needed to read at this time. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you

I think this is my favorite so far in the series! I loved London in the last books but her love interest is my favorite type of story!

High School rivals!! They compete at everything and he was just trying to get her attention. When he sees her again at their high school reunion he does not fail to annoy her with his charm, good locks and success. So after her 2 besties told her to find a random hookup he didn't seem like a bad choice.. But things are never that easy.

There was so much more in this story about toxic workplaces, toxic masculinity, gaslighting, just standing up for yourself and making choices to remove these from your life or immediate surroundings.

Being smart and good at what you do as a female is a threat to some types and that's just sad and antiquated. I don't understand the types trying to perpetuate that into the younger generations. First of all without women y'all wouldn't biologically exist and second of all as London would say Shut the F up.

Thank you readforeverpub and netgalley for the e-ARC for my honest and voluntary review.

My favorite book in the series! I was HOOKED right from the beginning because London is such a strong leading lady. I adored the Grey's Anatomy vibes in this book and the chemistry between London and Drew. This was an enjoyable read with a couple I couldn't help root for!

The third and final book of the Boyfriend Project is out and I have to say it was my favorite. What a way to end a series that celebrated women, their successes and their friendships!

3 women came together after they caught a man playing them all (thank you to the douchecanoe Craig for brining these women together). And with these 3 women, they forged a forever friendship. That had to be my favorite part about this series. The close bond these women formed from a man that wronged them. But when they got together, they were stronger and they figured out what they wanted out of life. Men didn't have to be a part of that, but it was always a bonus.

Enemies to lovers with ex high school rivals turned to a little bit of a workplace romance....now this was my jam!
The Hookup Plan was London's and Drew's story and it starts at a high school reunion. Drew and London were the co-valedictorians of their class, but London held a grudge towards Drew. She wanted to be the top dog to impress her father and be the best, but when Drew showed up, he just came by it naturally and that bugged London. Therefore a rivalry was formed and London couldn't let it go. But now it's 15 years later and she is a successful doctor. She surely can't hold a grudge towards Drew anymore, can she?

I absolutely loved the strength of both London and Drew. Both of these characters were smart, knew what they wanted out of life, but were still dealing with a bit of kickback from their pasts. I liked that Farrah Rochon dealt with parental issues, sexism, success in jobs, and the loss of a loved one all while building a romance ever so slowly between these two. That's not to say they weren't intimate early on, but they had to build a closeness that was more than the physical.

London was my favorite because she was just real when it came to her feelings and how she kept Drew at an arm length. She had her priorities and she didn't want to be deterred. To see a woman grow slowly and give in to her emotions over the period of the story and do it believably was a treat to witness. But it was seeing Drew fall first and the way he brought London around that won me over. He knew what he had to do, but he was careful about it. Their banter and their conversations over the period of their relationship/friendship was realistic and it worked for their characters.

Overall, this was a story that was more than the relationship. It was about the characters, their jobs and both of them dealing with some family issues that hindered their growth to their full potential. I really enjoyed this series and Ms Rochon ended on a great note with the 3 women and their successes with The Hookup Plan.

“The Hookup Plan” may be my favorite book in this series and I have enjoyed them all. It starts with a bang and while it deals with an enemy-to-lovers trope, there are other themes in the book that are deeper, societal, and include a relatable topic of dealing with Black millennials in a less diverse work force. I was rooting for London and Drew from the get go and their back and forth was humorous and steamy at the same time. I hope Ms. Rochon keeps writing book like these because I’ve been a huge fan of these books. 4 stars ⭐️. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the advanced copy for review.

Wow! Thank you NetGalley and Forever Publishing for the ARC!

I have to say, I adore this series of books, and they keep getting better and better.

I’ve been not so patiently waiting for London’s story, and it did not disappoint. This was definitely my favorite book of the three. I love how level-headed London is, and I adore how Drew fit into her life.

Enemies to lovers at its best, as the enemies part was mostly misunderstanding. I adore when adults in stories actually act as such, and it was very refreshing to not have the “oh no!” moment in the middle of the story that makes everything so stressful.

I adored this story and would/will definitely read again!

5 stars!

The Hookup Plan was an enjoyable enemies to lovers story that I was invested in from the start.

London Kelley is a pediatric surgeon who is stressed and a bonafide workaholic. She attends her 10-year high school class reunion where she encounters her rival and co-valedictorian, Drew. Drew is a hedge fund manager and has been very successful in his own right since college. They end up hooking up, but what she doesn't know is that he is in town to audit the hospital that she works at.

In order to save the hospital where she works, London knows she's going to have to cooperate with Drew. She's also learning new things about the man she thought she knew so well. Maybe what she thought she knew wasn't accurate at all. With sparks flying and the chemistry between them undeniable, will they be able to make something work?

I've enjoyed all of the books in this series and this one was absolutely no exception. Be sure to pick it up - you won't be sorry!

Have you ever avoided starting a book because you didn’t want the series to end? That’s exactly what I did with this book. I was fortunate enough to get an early copy, but it took me forever to actually pick it up because I was so sad to say goodbye to London, Samiah, and Taylor. I have adored this series from the beginning, and all 3 books have been 5 star reads for me.

The Hookup Plan is London’s story and starts off at her high school reunion. As a pediatric surgeon, she doesn’t have a lot of time for dating, so her best friends tell her she needs to find a guy to hook up with at her reunion. What she doesn’t expect, however, is for that guy to be Drew, her high school rival turned millionaire. When he shows up at her work, as part of the team deciding the fate of her hospital, they decide to continue to hook up…

I adored this story…the witty banter, all the steam, the incredible female friendships, and amazing female leads….what’s not to love? AND it’s enemies to lovers - my favorite trope! Drew was the perfect man for London and I’m so glad she finally got her HEA. I also loved seeing where Samiah and Taylor were in their lives! Reading this book was such a treat and it might even be my favorite book of the series.

I listened to some of this on audio (I couldn’t put it down so I needed all the formats) and I loved Marissa Hampton’s narration!

Thank you to Forever Publishing, Hachette Audio, and NetGalley for the advance copies.

I was so excited when I saw the cover and read the synopsis for The Hookup Plan. For starters, I am in no way a huge romance novel reader. I quickly found out that this book was the third in a series. Don't let that deter you though, you can read each book as a standalone or out of order. I went back and read the first 2 books first because I wasn't sure if I could read them out of order.

Farrah Rochon has a way with romance. I love how each character are so real and have depth. London is a successful pediatric surgeon resident and Drew is a multi-millionaire. They meet up at their high school reunion and remember just how much they hated each other. I don't know much about tropes, but boy did I enjoy this enemies to lover's trope.

What I liked: I loved that London was an independent woman. She knew what she wanted, and she got it. She had no issues expressing herself and stating what she wanted. It's great to see a strong female lead, especially a black female. Drew was very humble and down to earth. I liked how family was tied into the story line and how family can shape who we grow to be.

I would have enjoyed learning more about Drew's relationship with his mother and exploring London's relationships with her younger siblings. I definitely wanted more of Drew's family history...I thought for sure when they went to visit his mother's house, we were going to find out more about Drew.

Again, I'm not a romance reader, but this book had some spice! I blushed at a few of the moments. It wasn't raunchy at all, but London and Drew got down!

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the friendship that Taylor, London, and Samiah have. Healthy relationships are key. I enjoyed how each woman had their own "struggle" that they had to overcome.

I would recommend this book to everyone! Reading this has broaden my reading and I actually look forward to reading a few romance novels in the future.

This was definitely a 4.5 star read for me!

This is my first time reading something by this author and I really enjoyed it. The story caught my attention from the beginning and held it all the way through. After reading this, I definitely want to go back and read the prior books of this series that I missed. This is a well-written enemies to lovers romantic comedy and I enjoyed every minute of it. The characters were wonderful and felt so relatable, I couldn't help but fall in love with them. The storyline had a nice smooth flow and the romance was wonderful and there were plenty of humorous moments that had me laughing out loud or just generally left me with a smile on my face.
London is a pediatric surgeon and while her job is stressful enough, there is also the added factor of a possible sale of the hospital she works at. She really needs to blow off some steam and destress so while at her high school reunion, she decides to hook-up with her old high school rival Drew. While he was her nemesis back then and always in competition with her, he was also secretly crushing on her. So after they hook-up, and London wants to keep things casual, Drew wants more, and as they spend more time together, London begins to realize how much she enjoys Drew's company and how happier she is. I love seeing them together and they had such great chemistry! While the budding romance was well played out, I also enjoyed seeing the side relationships with London and her dad and siblings. It was nice to see their relationship grow as well. I really enjoyed this book and I will be looking out for more books by this author!

I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

This book has officially become one of my top 10 favorite books of the year. I absolutely love it so much. It reminded of of ben and leslie from parks and rec when they first met, Ben having to come in and save their department which is what Drew is doing by trying to save the hospital ,where London is a resident doctor, from being sold. I love how strong of a character London is and how competitive she is because I can relate to that. Drew is the perfect man and the way that he talked about London had me ready to jump off a cliff. I love them and I will be buying this book to be able to annotate it.

A lot of situational conflict in this romance!

Drew and London were high school rivals, each competing for every conceivable win, ending up as co-valedictorians. They run across each other again at their fifteen-year reunion; London is still in Austin and is making quite a name for herself as a pediatric surgeon while Drew has made his millions at a hedge fund and is now running a company that helps turn around fiscally-unstable hospitals, including the one where London works.

Their incendiary ONS quickly turns to FWB when it becomes clear that Drew is in town for at least a few weeks, but London refuses to allow their connection to become anything more than physical. In this part of the story, I really liked how Drew worked against her doubts and fears without trying to manipulate her into something more than she wanted.

Both Drew and London have family issues going on, and I really loved how they supported each other on those fronts. Their bickering early on gradually became more constructive and I really enjoyed watching their relationship take on new dimensions.

As the third in a series focusing on women who bonded over having dated the same loser, the girl-power vibe is strong in this one and I thought it was exceptionally well done.

The HEA was charming, the secondary characters were riveting, and I greatly appreciated that the author didn't water down London's relationship with her father just to tie up a loose end. The way it was resolved was much more realistic and relatable. This story was instantly captivating and I enjoyed every bit. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

What a sexy, smart and layered romance from Farrah Rochon. The Hookup Plan delivers some of my favorite tropes, and it does it well:
- childhood enemies to lovers
- he falls first
- just hooking up, then they both catch feelings
- workplace romance (ish)

I absolutely loved London--err Dr. Kelley--as a sassy, overly competitive workaholic heroine learning to let loose and get her stress levels under control. Drew was a fully fleshed out character who oozed cinnamon roll sweetness while still having his own emotional baggage to unpack.

The addition of glimpses of the other friends Samiah and Taylor and their beaus made for a fun addition, and the Epilogue was extremely well done & not heavy handed. The deeply emotional family side stories and friendship with Taylor and Samiah were icing on the cake!

I was a bit hesitant to pick up this series after Book 1 felt a bit lackluster, but Rochon has definitely hit her stride with this enemies-to-lovers romance featuring an emotional punch and two brilliant Black main characters.

Disclosure: I received a free ARC from Netgalley and Forever Pub.

A chance to return to the world of The Boyfriend Project in a fun second chance (?) romance.

London is a stand-out pediatric surgeon trying to give the best to her patients at a smaller public hospital. She's always striving for perfection and putting too many things on her plate. During her 15-year class reunion she runs into her old archnemesis and co-valedictorian Drew. Through a series of somewhat bizarre circumstances they end up sleeping together as a way for London to let off some steam. But a few days later they run into each other at the hospital, where Drew is leading an audit of the hospital to determine if they should sell it. London is immediately annoyed about him hiding things and his potential to recommend that the hospital be sold. But she also really wants to sleep with him again, so they start a casual sexual relationship. But Drew wants more and maybe London does too?

Overall, I've really enjoyed this series and seeing these women flourish as part of their pact. But this book isn't my favorite in the series. London is a badass boss bitch, but she's also maybe too focused on maintaining control and getting her way. It impacts her health and her relationships, and the book theoretically shows her working through these issues, but I'm not convinced that happened. Drew liked to push her buttons in high school, and he keeps that up in the present day, but sometimes it crossed the line from flirty to mean. I think they could be good for each other, but I don't feel like they had put in the work to actually get there.

I did really like to see the couples from the previous books in the series and how supportive they were of London. I also liked to see Drew interact with his team and really work to listen to others' opinions (although how can he be so bad at using Uber Eats?). I appreciate that London was also really working on having a better relationship with her siblings. Seeing her struggles made her seem more like a real person than the version we saw in the first two books.

Overall, if you enjoyed the other books in the series, I recommend reading this one too and seeing the last of the women in the group find love. If you haven't read the other books in the series, perhaps skip this one unless you enjoy reading romances with somewhat unlikeable characters.
