London is the strong independent woman we all are meant to be! I loved how this book was very centered around her. Following along as she dealt with family, career, friendship, and relationship struggles all at the same time felt very real and relatable. Life is hard and this book is the perfect depiction of what we truly go through, we aren't always lucky enough to have just one problem, problems like to multiple, at least in my life. Farrah did such a great job bringing London through this journey of time in her life and allowing her to thrive on the other side. I truly enjoyed this read.

London is the overachieving surgical resident who needs to lower her stress levels. Her friends suggest hooking up with someone to lower her stress. She runs into her high school nemesis, Drew, at her class reunion and they end up hooking up. The following Monday London discovers that Drew is leading the audit on her hospital that could potentially close. London is furious and barbs fly!
This was top-tier enemies to lovers with a healthy dose of snarky banter thrown in and it was fantastic! It is perfect for readers who love banter and snark.

This is a story of childhood rivals who go from enemies to lovers after meeting again at a high school reunion. It involved a bit of spice with the main characters and some nice and strong female friendship. Both of the characters are dealing with some heavier issues like narcissistic parent, death of a parent, health issues and have some big life decisions to make however, there is a good balance within the story so that the heavier things aren’t overwhelming when reading it.

I’m late to this series, but I’ve now read two of the three books and The Hookup Plan is my favorite.
London is a widely-respected pediatric surgeon, and Drew is a millionaire financier. They are two overachievers and former high school rivals who meet again at a class reunion. London’s grudge hasn’t lessened over time and neither has Drew’s attraction to her. When passion and animosity collide, great angry sex is sure to follow! Drew is so patient and understanding waiting for London to come to her senses.
I was initially bothered by London’s petty behavior, but the story explores the deeper cause of her feelings, and it makes her more relatable. I came to love her sassiness. I expected the biggest drama would be Drew’s responsibility for the financial audit of London’s struggling public hospital. Surprisingly, the most conflict comes from family dynamics, which adds a nice layer to the story.
London has some daddy issues, and I liked the way she tries to resolve them throughout the story so that it doesn’t negatively affect the other areas of her life. There are wonderful messages about the importance of self-care.
There is a need for more diverse characters in romance novels, and this book answers that call. Successful African Americans are well-represented here without making it seem like something unusual—exactly how it should be. Misogyny in the workplace is also a very real thing, and I appreciated that it is addressed in the story as well.
The Hookup Plan could use more editing for length, but I still enjoyed the book.

thanks to Net Galley and Forever Publishing for this ARC
This was cute enemies to lovers romance with a medical setting. Id give it 3/5 on the steamy factor. Probably more biased because medical settings are something I enjoy and draw me with books a la Greys Anatomy vibes. I haven't read any of Farrah's other books but they have been on my TBR for a while. Definitely recommend if you like a little enemy to lovers action with a strong female character.

Although I haven't read other novels by Farrah Rochon, I will be now. The Hookup Plan is a delight! Enemies to loves is done phenomenally in this novel. I so enjoyed London and Drew's story.

I will be recommending this to my followers who are obsessed with romance. Suck a fun summer read!!!!

MY THOUGHTS -
I enjoyed this one..though it's 3rd book in the boyfriend project it can be read as standalone.
Loved the hypertension representation which in today's fast paced , sedentary lifestyle is becoming a silent killer and needs awareness.
This book has enemies to lovers, friends with benefits representation. This is a also a fast burn with steam🔥🔥though i wish some scenes were well etched..some were quite rushed!!
Thank you Netgalley and publishers for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

Have I mentioned I’m a massive fan of this series and author?! Every single book puts a smile on my face. I’ve loved London since the first book and I’m so glad she gets her own love story. She’s striking and intelligent and knows how to get what she wants. And Drew. Yes, please! A rich cinnamon roll?! That will do. This book has amazing witty banter like all of her books and a love story based on respect and honor. Her romances are mature and always well-done!
Thank you Forever Publishing for the eARC!

This was hands down my favorite book of the series. I loved Drew and London from the start. We get to see them go from former high school rivals to hooking up to lovers and it was such a treat. Drew wanted to prove to London that he only had her best interest in mind and everything he did for her showed how much he has always cared for and admired her.
I’ve loved London from the start of the series so finally getting her story was everything and I love the bond that she, Samiah, and Taylor have created throughout the series.
I will say that I do wish we would have had more at the end in terms of what happened with Dr. Coleman and her parents.

I always love hosting our yearly "Farrah book club" with this book series and so sad this was the last one of the Boyfriend Project series! I will still be on the lookout for more of her books in the future :)
I read this in one sitting and could not put it down! Farrah Rochon has me hooked as I relate heavily to London Kelley, her triumphs, bravery, outspoken personality, father issues, and vulnerability. Drew was the perfect match London, I enjoyed how he never gave up no matter what London said or did. He was very patient and understanding and never let the past dictate their current "situationship." Although Drew had some hangups about his mother and father he remained humble, open and honest throughout his and London's journey throughout the story which was very refreshing. This is great enemies to friends billionaire romance that has nuanced main and supporting characters that you will come back to read again and again!
Pub day August 2! Be on the lookout for this one!

Another winner by Farrah Rochon! I absolutely love the Boyfriend Project series by Rochon and this, the final book in the trilogy, is probably my fave of the three. It could be because I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers rom-coms. Or it could be because I adore smart, stubborn, successful, ambitious women MCs, and London is definitely that and more while Drew, her former high school nemesis and current hookup (because an overworked pediatric surgeon resident needs something as a stress reliever, right?) is just as smart, ambitious, driven, as well as sexy and charming as hell....Whatever the reason, this was the perfect read for me exactly when I needed it. It's a witty, funny, sexy rom-com that I blew through in a night.
In the previous two books, London's friends Samiah, and Taylor find love after the three friends 1st met and become besties over a humiliating incident with a guy who was dating/cheating on all three of them. London is too busy to date with her dedication to the hospital and is the last woman standing as the only single until she runs into Drew at their high school reunion. She hated Drew in high school and hates him now just on sight, even if she does think he's hot and sexy. On the other hand, Drew has been in love with London since they met as teenagers, so he's not easily pushed away by her attitude. When the two end up in bed together and London wants to turn it into a casual hookup to help with her stress levels, things get a little more complicated than she planned.
I loved the sparks between Drew and London and how their relationship grew and developed throughout the pages. There were deep moments throughout the book as London's deeply rooted issues with trust and intimacy are explored and Drew's past--grief, traumas, and loss--are opened up. The friendships between London, Taylor, and Samiah remained strong and integral to the story although I wished the two had played just a bigger role. All in all, a perfect wrap of the series!

The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon is the third book in The Boyfriend Project series, but can be enjoyed on its own as well. It is currently scheduled for release on August 2 2022. Successful pediatric surgeon London Kelley just needs to find some balance and de-stress. According to her friends Samiah and Taylor, what London really needs is a casual hookup. A night of fun with no strings. But no one—least of all London—expected it to go down at her high school reunion with Drew Sullivan, millionaire, owner of delicious abs, and oh yes, her archnemesis. Now London is certain the road to hell is paved with good sex. Because she’s found out the real reason Drew’s back in Austin: to decide whether her beloved hospital remains open. Worse, Drew is doing everything he can to show her that he’s a decent guy who actually cares. But London’s not falling for it. Because while sleeping with the enemy is one thing, falling for him is definitely not part of the plan.
The Hookup Plan is a great read with characters that feel very real. They each have their issues and hangups, but they also have self awareness and do their best to communicate and be good people even when it is hard. London is at a cross roads, trying to better balance her life to be healthy while dealing with layers of stress and big decision making. Drew is thrilled at a chance to develop a relationship with London, but has his own challenges to face at the same time. I loved the communication and honesty that is such a huge part of their story, and their lives in general. I was glad to get both of their perspectives, to see how they chose to share with each other and getting a glimpse at their concerns and struggles made them even more real to me as a reader. This was such a great journey and I loved this book, and the whole series.
The Hookup Plan is a wonderful wrap up to this trilogy. I am looking forward to reading whatever Rochon writes next!

The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon is the one nightstand that never went away and the perfect ending to The boyfriend project series. London Kelley is a successful pediatric resident treated more like an attending who is in serious need of de-stress or a casual hook-up, as her friends call it. She never thought she would end up in the hotel room of her former high school rival, the man London could not stand more than anyone in this world; London never thought he would be the person she would hook up with. Well, it was supposed to be only for one night. Farrah Rochon's writing is not only some of her best in this one, but the storyline kept me hooked into the end. The dual point of view is my absolute favorite; seeing in both London and Drews's heads was everything. I adore how stubborn London was and how cautious she was with her heart. The drama with her dad created a fascinating plotline regarding her love life. She projected her father's trauma onto Drew, who handled it well. I loved how Drew had loved her since they were kids and how his softer side came out slowly. I swooned when Drew got her food after her long days of surgery. We all need a man like that, plus he wants to help the healthcare world because of some person's trauma; I also loved that. When he said, "a persona bank balance shouldn't determine whether they lived or died," I knew Drew was the sweetest guy and needed to be with London. I am disappointed the series is over, but according to this adorable arc here, the queen herself is coming out with another book next summer. All I have to say is my email is in my bio when you are reading for arc readers :) The Hookup plans hit shelves this coming August 9th and are not to be missed. Pre-order this one because it will fly off the shelves.
My favorite line from the entire book: "Because there's actually health benefits to giving blow jobs."
Thanks to Netgalley and Forever for the advance reader copy.

• loved it!
• so much girl power
• adored London’s friendships
• this book just made me so dang happy!!

Thank you so much to Farrah Rochon, Forever Grand Central Publishing & NetGalley for an advance copy of my book in exchange for an honest review.
This book will be published August 2nd.
Oh my goodness!!!!! I absolutely loved this book!!!! Now I didn't get a chance to read the first book and I really loved Taylor's story in the second but this one takes the cake.
The book starts off at a class reunion for the class of 2007 (made me feel old) where London put herself in charge of everything. Even paying extra for the fanicer hors d'oeuvres. All was going well until her nemesis appears - Drew Sullivan.
They immediately pick up where they left off in high school with the back and forth banter. It wasn't until they found themselves at the bar together and then suddenly in Drew's hotel room where London made the move and wanted him to be a one night stand. She didn't think she would need to see him again until the following Monday, Drew appeared at her hospital to help with an audit as it may be bought out.
Knowing that she was going to see him on a daily basis, London changed her one night stand into her daily stress reliever and made a hookup plan. Drew was determine to make this into something more and knew that he eventually would win her over.
I really loved this whole book! I laughed; I yelled; I rooted for London. Drew was so swoon worthy that I just couldn't stop smiling anytime him and London were together. He always wanted was best for her and always tried to impress her. They just came off the pages as such a hot couple.
I was so happy that London stood up to her dad and I actually hope that she keeps her distance from him. Seperating yourself from a toxic relationship even if it is your parent, is so hard but very needed to do. And especially with her health condition and the already added stress of her profession, she needs to remember to take care of herself.
I love that London was able to talk about her issues with not only Drew but with her two best friends Samiah and Taylor. They are such a solid bunch that had X happened, I would have been very sad.
This book made me really happy and I think others will enjoy it too!

I really liked this book! I love enemies to lovers, especially when its previous enemies turned lovers… its just so much fun! The spice in this was everything. I looooved the character development, and was rooting for the couple from start to finish. I didnt realize this was a book in a series but overall, great romcom!

High school enemies to adult lovers! I had a great time with The Hookup Plan. London is a successful pediatric surgeon (though a stressed, hypertensive, workaholic one). At her 10 year high school reunion, she runs into Drew- her high school rival and co-valedictorian. He's back in town for work and they end up hooking up. Except, it turns out he's there to audit the hospital she works at...
What was great about this was how the romance between these two interweaves other personal issues and places they need to grow. London competed with Drew because she was trying for her narcissistic father's approval and must come to terms with that. Drew is still grieving the loss of his mother to cancer and his own feelings of responsibility. London is also carrying so much stress, it is beginning to impact her health. But she cares deeply about the well-being of her patients. Meanwhile, Drew has secretly always had a thing for London and this explores how different things are as adults than as teens.
The main downside was the steamy parts were kind of meh. Not much buildup or anything other than straight to P in V action which somehow magically leads to multiple orgasms. It kind of made me roll my eyes and I wish there had just been fewer scenes altogether if it was where it was going to go. Otherwise, I really liked the characters their growth arcs, and the romance! The audio narration is great as well. I received an advance audio copy of this book via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

If you want to read about a sweet, patient, generous, rich man that is the first to fall for the strong female character ( who has some growth and development as well), this is for you. This was more plot driven than romance driven, which is certainly not a complaint. The conflict was irritating though and felt so incredibly repetitive. However, miscommunication was avoided - the couple actually talked it out. Imagine that. Romances are either 1, 3, or 5 for me. So abysmal, good, or absolutely perfect. This one is pretty good. I enjoyed it.

This was the third in a series and I've read none of the previous ones! I was really worried going in that this would have a negative impact on my experience, but I am happy to report that you can absolutely read this one on its own!
This had spice, sass, wit, depth, laughter and real emotion. I totally enjoyed it and will be going back to read 1 and 2!
