I was so excited to finally read this book - I’ve absolutely loved the last two and I can confirm, this is a sweet ending to this TBP series!

I have genuinely loved each book, and appreciate the representation in each story. It is great to see heroines that are relatable not only because they are women but because they are 1)Black 2) in tech and 3) SUCCESSFUL. I absolutely love the strong female group of friends who were strong, successful women in their own fields. I really like that Farrah writes stories that isn't focused solely on the hardships of being a person of color, but makes them shine in different ways.

London’s story was a bit harder for me to read because I’m a bit sensitive to hospitals based books/movies, but the story was overall great. The enemies to lovers was done well, the male MC was *chefs kiss* and I liked that it wasn’t too much of a slow burn :)

The Hookup Plan comes out on August 2nd! Thank you Farrah Rochon and Readforeverpub for a copy of this book and e-arc in exchange for my honest review. I can’t wait for Farrah’s next one!

Who doesn’t love attending their high school class reunion? This enemies to lovers romance was super cute and comical. London, a member of the viral post of a loser who attempted to date three women (at minimal) at one time has set a pack with her new found bff’s to work on self improvement and find a hobby… London chooses to crochet to help relax between her shifts as a pediatric surgeon. Six months into the pack her friends tell her she needs a friend with benefits because crocheting was not cutting it. With no prospects in sight, her high school class reunion presents her with a no strings attached opportunity—-her nemeses, co valedictorian Drew Sullivan.

Drew back in town to save the county hospital and to capitalize on a chance to date his high school crush pulls all the strings to win her over…unbeknownst to London he wants more than benefits.

I enjoyed the chemistry between London and Drew. The growth that London experienced while dealing with her health, daddy issues, and career were very entertaining. I appreciated how Drew stayed focused on his goal to prove to London that he was not the enemy. Her friendship with Samiyah and Taylor makes you want to find a bff and surround yourself with girl power! This is a good, easy read that holds your attention all they way through.

If your trope of choice is enemies to lovers, this is the book for you. Even if you haven't read the other 2 books I feel this could serve as a stand alone. Watching London's story unfold was really something special. This books was a perfect little bow on the boyfriend project series ......... also, everyone needs a Drew ; )

So I didn’t read the first 2 books, but I definitely will after reading this one! I loved London. She’s a badass and fights for what she believes in. I loved Drew. Swoon worthy and charming (and the $100M doesn’t hurt either 😉).. I loved their relationship. I loved the relationship with London and her siblings evolve. I wish there was a bit more at the end about the jerk at the hospital having karma kick his butt or something. Or with her mom & stepmom maybe having a convo about her dad and accepting that London kicked him out of her life but otherwise this book was perfection!

“You don’t have to be strong with me, London. Everyone needs to let go sometimes. Allow yourself to feel whatever you need to feel. I’m here to absorb it.”

Omg right away London and Drew have this amazing chemistry! You just fall in love with them right away. I love that they constantly bicker with each other. Drew has had a crush on London since high school and it was super cute how he gets a kick on getting her to fight with him all the time just to have some attention. I love how Drew takes care of London. She works herself quite hard with the hospital that she works at and I love how Drew tries to make it easier.
This is the third book I. The series but can totally be read as a standalone!

I am a binge reader. This took me over a week to finish. I liked the book overall. The second book in the series is still my favorite. I felt like the second half of this just was kinda boring. A few more intense moments but nothing that really sucked me in. It was a decent read I just didn’t love it.

This third book of the series was my favorite! Drew is so wonderful that I'm a little bit in love with him myself. I loved the way London allowed herself to grow and looked at facts and changed her opinion - such an important thing to do. And the focus of the series on the friendship of these three woman is just perfect!

I found The Hookup Plan to be pretty delightful, although I still think The Dating Plan is my favorite in the trilogy. I wish there was more tension and it felt like something was missing for me. Still, I loved the characters and more importantly watching London learn how to care for herself, what was important to her and stand up to her father.

I really enjoyed this book! What begins as a one night hookup after a high school reunion becomes complicated when London and Drew realize that they’ll have to work closely with one another for the next few months. Awkward! London is so insistent that she’s only willing to have a no-strings attached romp with Drew over the course of this work relationship, and this is a girl who usually knows exactly what she wants. I loved how much London was able to voice her needs and her asks with zero hesitation—she’s a perfect example of a strong female lead. But sometimes what you think you want, isn’t always what you need. Drew is London’s perfect foil. He’s stable, has always harbored feelings for her, yet gives her space, knows how to keep work and “dating” separate and is the calm to London’s ferocity. The relationship between London and Drew was one I could picture in real life; not perfect, but two characters trying to figure out what works for them. And the chemistry is really good, so much that you just hope they’ll become a couple.
This book really took off in the second half when London begins to let down her guard a little. I loved the winery trip and visit to Drew’s mother’s house. And the conclusions London comes to about her Dad are so realistic and not idealistic. I love when a book ends with a “Happy For Now” and Rochon does a wonderful job of bringing the characters from her two prior books into this ending. The family stories for both London and Drew and their “whys” for who they are and what they do for a living are so important to the story and made me love these characters even more. Farrah Rochon will be an insta-buy author for me in the future. Thank you to NetGalley and Forever for my ARC in exchange for an honest review. Opinions are my own.

This one fell kind of flat for me. And the worst part is, I can't even pinpoint why. I just wasn't vibing with it.

This book was so good and was such a satisfying conclusion to the series. I always love a strong female main character and London was it. The medicine/surgery made the book even better for me. I loved London and how she was able to slowly trust Drew and not compare him to previous men (including her dad) in her life. Her relationship with her dad didn't have the happily ever after, but it did for London. I liked that the ending didn't have everything tied up in a nice little bow (but I do wish something bad for Colman) because it left the book feeling more realistic. I appreciate the author so much for making factors about race (and women in this book) beautifully interwoven into the story. The only critique I have is that the middle drug on too long. It was a little bit too much of are we/aren't we and I had to take a pause from the book when I normally could finish a book like this in one sitting. Overall, a wonderful book and I will miss this series because the friend group was truly written as if these women were also the reader's friends. Well done Farrah Rochon.

London is a pediatric surgeon resident who has been dealing with a lot during the last year of her residency. She attends her high school reunion, where she runs into her former nemesis, Drew, who is now a successful entrepreneur. The two end up hooking up (hence the name) after London is encouraged by her friends. The chemistry between Drew and London was easy to see from the beginning. London was quickly my favorite character just because I related to her so much. I understood her borderline unhealthy commitment to her patients and her job and how that takes a toll on her. Drew supported her throughout the book, and you could see the genuine care for London he had since high school. The high school rivals to lovers are something I've never read before, and I found it fun and exciting. Both characters endured incredibly realistic challenges but were able to keep them separate from their relationship. This is the third book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone. Since I read this book first, I'm excited to go back and read Farrah Rochon's other books now.

4.5 stars!

London Kelley has always hated Drew Sullivan, her high school rival and co-valedictorian. However, when her best friends convince her that she needs a casual hookup to help de-stress, she decides that there is no one better for the job than millionaire Drew, who happens to be at her high school reunion. Little does London know that Drew is in town not for the reunion, but to do the audit at the hospital where she works as a pediatric surgeon and decide whether it can afford to stay open. This casual hookup could become so much more... but can London put her past behind her and accept her new feelings for Drew?

This book was so cute! I loved the characters of Drew and London so much. London was spunky, stubborn, and hard working and I loved her drive and determination. Drew was sweet, attentive, and clearly cared so much about everyone in his life. I really loved the high school nemesis storyline and that Drew and London could reminisce on their high school years throughout the development of their relationship. It made the love between them feel so much more genuine! Both of them had realistic personal challenges, but they did not allow them to escalate into a last minute conflict between them, which I really appreciated. Instead, they supported each other through those challenges which made me fall even more in love with their relationship. I read this book as a standalone, but it is the third in a series that focuses on three women who become best friends after a guy tries to catfish/date all three of them at once. You can definitely read it as a standalone, but the characters from the first two books pop up often and it would have been fun to have had a little more background on them when reading (though not necessary)!

I would highly recommend this one! Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the ARC in exchange for an honest review! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Hookup Plan wraps up the Boyfriend Project series with the story of London, the pediatric surgeon of the group. The steamy scenes were great, even if they did come at random times. As with many enemies to lovers books, their rivalry wasn’t very substantial. I loved London’s dedication to her patients and her growth throughout the book in her personal life. She is a very strong person and I loved reading about her.

✨ Review ✨ The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon

The 3rd book in this series brings us London's story. London's in her final year of residency as a pediatric surgeon at a public hospital in Austin. Committed to providing care to those who need it from all economic backgrounds, she's overworked and overstressed. Her friends have been urging her to find a hook up to destress, and the perfect opportunity arises when she meets Daniel, her high school nemesis at their 15 year reunion. While their relationship starts as a hook up, she's overwhelmed as she realizes she wants more.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Genre: contemporary f/m romance, enemies to lovers
Location: Austin, TX
Pub Date: August 2, 2022

I enjoyed this book, especially the first half as it took me on a ride. I love that these books are situated in TX, and even if San Antonio's just mentioned in passing, it's fun to see it there :) The second half of the book lagged a bit for me as not a lot was happening and it just felt a bit repetitive. Overall, I enjoyed the story - I just wish the second half (especially the last 1/4) had been trimmed a bit.

Another fun read in the Boyfriend Project series!

I enjoyed reading The Hookup Plan! Farrah Rochon has become one of my favourite authors for her ability to balance serious matters with comic relief. This book was so entertaining that I had a hard time putting it down.

London Kelley is a pediatric surgical resident working in a hospital which may not be open for much longer. She is hard-working and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of her patients and their families.

When she attends her high-school reunion, she comes face to face with her high school nemesis Drew Sullivan. Now a multimillionaire and successful in his own right, the animosity that London had towards Drew picks up right where she left it in high school. After all, if it wasn’t for Drew, she believes she would have won the valedictorian position outright and finally would have made her father proud of her.

London and Drew happen to both be in the hotel’s bar after the reunion. It’s been some time since London has been with a man so she proposes a non-friend with benefits relationship while Drew is in town. What she doesn’t realize is that London and Drew will be thrown together frequently as Drew’s company begins auditing the hospital where London works. As the relationship blossoms and London sees Drew as someone she can trust, the reason for her competitive nature is revealed.

I adored London’s character. Her confidence and high-spirited nature reminded me of a young Dr. Miranda Bailey from Grey’s Anatomy. Drew is the perfect match for her and we learn much about what has shaped his life as well. I loved the romantic gestures and the way the author demonstrated London learning to relax and rely on others.

With an engaging storyline, The Hookup Plan celebrates the importance of respect and self-confidence when facing life’s challenges. I highly recommend this book to those that enjoy romance or women’s fiction.

This book was so fun and I loved it! I love a good enemies-to-lovers romance. It's one of my favorite tropes.

Honestly, I didnt realize it was part of a trilogy, and I think that would have given me a lot of insight on the book itself. WHOOPS!

London is everything I aspire to be - confident, gorgeous, intelligent, despite having flaws. ITS A DREAM!

Thank you, Netgalley & Farrah Rochon for giving me the opportunity to read!

I'm definitely going to read the other two books as it was just AMAZING!

Of the three women who become internet infamous for confronting a man who was dating all of them, only London hasn't found love. She was only dating Craig in the first place so she wouldn't have to go stag to her 15th high school reunion. Well, she's here now anyway, a single lady. And once again crossing swords with Drew, the co-valedictorian who made her life so miserable as he competed with her for the big honors. Now she's a pediatric surgeon and he's the man here to evaluate whether to keep her hospital public or open it up to investors. But he doesn't tell her that until after they have two very steamy nights together. Oops.
There is a lot of emotional growth in this book but, for London, it is grouped at the end of the book. I wish one of the subplots had been introduced a little bit earlier so there weren't so many Big Surprises at the end but overall a nice ending to the books in this series.

I thought this was excellent and probably the strongest in the series. London is easily my favorite of the trio since I related to her the most. She fel real in her cursing workaholic perfectionist ways. The female friendships are at their peak. The dialogue was snappy and not overly smart (ie no dictionary needed). Drew felt overly perfect which is why I took off half a star, but other than that it's a quality Texas-set romance.
It's also easily read as a standalone, though it's the 3rd in the series.

☆☆☆☆ Overall

I loved this enemies to lovers, I think it was done beautifully and angsty and spicy, and just overall very well written. I’ve never read anything by Rochon before, but I may have to change that after this book! London is a hardheaded queen and my absolute favorite.
