"The Hookup Plan" is a first time read by Farrah Rochon, new author to this reader. It is the third book in the series. This story is about London Kelley who has always been an over achiever in high school in order to beat her rival, Drew Sullivan, millionaire, hot and handsome. It is not until their high school reunion that the two run into one another and later meet up for drinks that lead them to a hot and steamy one night stand. Drew's company has been hired to audit the hospital where London works as a doctor, however during their hot and heavy, he forgets to mention it and she finds out when she comes face to face with him at the hospital meeting. In order to get a better perspective of the situation with the hospital, they arrange a hook up plan with no strings attached until the results of the audit is completed.
Oh how I loved the banter between London and Drew...what rivals wouldn't egg on one another. There was chemistry earlier on and I thought the author did a very nice job of developing the characters and their complicated backgrounds. One where Drew had to deal with the loss of his mother and London, her father and very much younger siblings. I thought the tension was key to the gradual build of their relationship to one of patience...on the part of Drew to London's falling in love with him. A well-written novel that had me glued from beginning to end. Delightful and enjoyable read and I wished I had read the first two in the series to get the take on her best friends. Will be on my TBR as this was the conclusion to the series.

Unfortunately, this story wasn’t a good fit for me. I haven’t read the other books in this series, but I don’t think that’s why I didn’t enjoy it. I just didn’t find myself rooting for the main characters. The writing was great, the concept of the story was great, but I struggled to buy in to the characters. The disdain London had for Drew was just too strong for me to find the friends-with-benefits relationship endearing or believable. Not a good fit for me, but I’m sure many other readers will love it.

Let's start with the cover. The artist is Elizabeth Turner Stokes (@EStokesCreative) And she's brilliant. She perfectly captured the relationship between London and Drew. They feel both drawn together and pushed apart. London is closed off to the attraction, and she's got her arms crossed. Drew has secretly always held a crush on London, and the artist drew him with his hands in his pockets, feigning indifference. Their foreheads are pressed together, showing the source of their rivalry and their attraction.
London is an overachiever and perfectionist. She's too busy with her job (pediatric surgeon) for love. She's fresh out of a relationship that ended in a humiliating viral video and she is angry/worried about a potential privatization of her hospital. She has a conflict with her father, who she never feels she's good enough to impress.
Drew is a hedge fund manager and his company is about to acquire London's hospital. Oops. He also carries a lot of guilt for his mother's death, because he had had the financial resources to help her during her cancer diagnosis and treatment, but she kept her health problems secret from him. (I found this very relatable, as I feel guilty for my mother's death from influenza related pneumonia that I believe -no matter how wrongly- I would have noticed if I'd not lived 1800 miles away.)
I really liked that Ms. Rochon makes the point that while love cannot be bought, sometimes money is the biggest hurdle to overcome in career, life, and relationships. So many problems can actually be solved by simply throwing money at it.

I adore this series. Rochon delivers delightful romance with a major component of female friendship. I find highly competent protagonists extremely compelling, so I was obviously sucked into this book. I adored the sparks between London and Drew, but was kept me turning the page was their growth. Both of them changed in interesting ways and had to deal with their own problems. I’m sad that this series is ending, but can’t wait for what Rochon does next.

2.5 stars
Having never read anything from this author I was excited to check this book out, but as you can see from my rating it was a bit of a miss. First of all, I was shocked that the first couple of sex scenes are fade to black, yet this is not a clean romance. I’ve been reading romance for over 30 years, so probably at least a thousand books, and I have NEVER seen fade to black in the first sexual encounter unless it’s a clean romance. It just threw off the entire tone of the book. Also, I don’t actually think this book is a romance, I think it’s more women’s fiction. For the majority of the book I think the romance took a backseat to London’s work situation, family life, etc. But as this is the 3rd in a series it will probably be enjoyed more by people who have read the other two books.
Thank you to NetGalley for this advanced reader copy. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Farrah Rochon does not disappoint! I was so excited to be approved for this one because I loved the other two books in this series. And I have to say, I LOVE how it turned out. I would highly recommend this book to everyone!

London Kelley is a pediatric surgical resident at the top of her game. Not only is she a brilliant doctor, but she seeks to improve the hospital for the patients. Drew Sullivan, her nemesis from high school, shows up unexpectedly at their high school reunion. Drew likes nothing more than to match verbal sparring with London. Little does London know that the reunion is just the beginning of their antics. Drew is the guy in charge of trimming her hospital's budget.
This was a great enemies-to-lovers romance with some great female friendships highlighted. Both characters had great backstories that had me rooting for them.

Let me first start by saying I enjoyed every book in this series. Watching the wonderful female friendship between London, Samiah and Taylor through these three books was a great pleasure.
The Hookup Plan however is my favorite of the entire series. I loved reading about London and Drew and watching their love bloom in spite of London's attempt to thwart it. Drew is an amazing catch and he has no intention of letting her cast him aside. But he definitely has to prove himself to London and work for her love. And that's where the fun begins.
The Hookup Plan has lots of laughs, searing chemistry, fun banter and a loveable couple you can't help but root for. This book makes a wonderful weekend and beach read.

By far, the best book in the series! I just loved this couple and everything they were for. It was a great balance of romance, humor, family drama and friendship.

This book jumped right into a good story and maybe it was easier having already met the main character in her other novels. I enjoyed this story and it may be my favorite of the series and would recommend to a friend.

Farrah Rochon is hands down one of my FAVORITE authors, and when I was emailed a widget of this highly anticipated read, I obviously had to drop everything to read every page. There's just something about a series you've LOVED and invested in that gets you excited, and Rochon has created such a great group of friends in this one.
Can I just start off by saying Farrah went all in with this one, blowing the door wide open with steam and I was here for it. I don't think I had ever read a story that starts at a high school reunion, and I hope this is not my last because I loved the enemies to lovers, reconciliation vibe that was created in this book for London + Drew.
With each of the books in this series, we've gotten a look at a fierce female who knows who she is and what she wants, and the male partner pairs perfectly into their life, bringing out the best in them and I love it. What more could you ask for in a partner, and for me, London especially deserved a man like Drew to make her realize just how special she is. Their witty banter was especially wonderful, and the added element of working together and trying to keep their relationship purely physical just worked SO well.
"I've been in love with the idea of you for more than a decade," he whispered against her lips. "But now, after getting to know the real you, to say I'm in love with you feels inadequate. I'm not sure what the words are for how I feel, I just know it's a feeling I never want to lose."
SWOON
I don't want to ruin it, but it IS a love story, so I'll just leave you with the knowledge that the HEA is dreamy, and it was the perfect ending to the series. I cannot wait to add a finished copy to my shelves, thank you to Forever Publishing + Farrah Rochon for letting me fangirl over this series, I cannot wait to see what she writes for us next!

My first Farrah Roshan book: I didn’t realize this was a series, so it’s good that it worked as a standalone. I liked the storyline and the characters. Two pretty exceptional people go from rivals to lovers to partners. Spice level was light.

I was given an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Things I liked- London’s career, Drew’s confidence and pursuit of London, the fun dates, and the friend group
Things I didn’t like as much- I thought the family drama (including the nude photos and expecting the big sis to handle it) was a little cringe. I slid really disliked the dad which I knew I was supposed to, but I was hoping he’d learn something.
Overall, a quick read with a little spice. Enjoyable overall.

I binged read this in one night. Can’t go wrong with an enemies to lovers trope! Absolutely love that these stories can stand alone especially when I’m giving book recommendations.
I am so sad you see these ladies go. I’ve loved every single one as well as their beaus. Thought I loved, Daniel and Jamar and now I love Drew. The character development is always amazing and keeps me entertained.
Just to note, this love story starts off steamier than the others but as always you can expect real family struggles and life elements to weave in.
Thank you Farrah, Netgalley and the Forever family for a ARC. I look forward to seeing the finished copy for my collection.

I live for enemies to lovers and this didn't disappoint. This is the third book in a series about three women who learn they are dating the same man. London is a successful surgeon who after a very long sex-drought decides to hook up with her nemesis from high school at their reunion. London wants them to be hook up partners while he is in town auditing the hospital she works at. It's a very fun story.
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for this arc to review.

When I got this I didn't know it was part of a series, but it read as a stand-alone! I absolutely loved the characters, they had great chemistry and I loved their dynamic! The plot and character development were amazing, I'm definitely going to have to go and read this author's other books! 4/5 for this cute romance!
Thank you, NetGalley for providing me with this e-arc in exchange for my review.

Thanks net galley for the advanced copy of this book. The author posted it was available and I snatched it up! I really liked London and Drew. She had a lot going on and knew what she wanted (for the most part). I know it’s a romance but I wanted to see what happened in their work life. It didn’t really go into detail at the end. (I’m trying not to spoil).
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series and I ate this one up!

I really liked Drew and London’s bickering during the reunion. It was probably one of my favorite scenes in the book.
My favorite things about the book:
- The chemistry the main characters have.
- The friendship between all the girls.
My least favorite things about the book:
- I cannot stand third person.

The Hook Up Plan is a enemies to lovers, kind of second chance romance, a stand alone in a three book series.
.
London runs into her old high school rival, Drew at a high school reunion. London's friends pressure her to hook up, to relieve stress and that's when Drew continues to stay, as much as he dislikes it. Until finally, their hooking up leads to feelings and emotions.
.
No complaints here about the book, totally loved how London grew and developed. I loved how Drew didn't pressure her to leave or change locations, but helped her find what was best for her. I loved the boundaries London had to set for herself and was a nice reminder that sometimes space is necessary from those around us.

I thought this ended up being pretty darn cute! I wasn't sure at first if I would like the characters as much as I did, but I really felt for them and was rooting hard for their relationship, which was super sweet and cute. I liked the elements of family drama and friendship, as well as London's work and her passion for her job. I liked that the characters had a lot of depth, also. Overall, the relationship was pretty adorable, and seeing them actually fall in love was so fun. :)
