I absolutely LOVED this book! I’m a sucker for black rom-coms so I was already sold out by just reading the description, and it did not disappoint! I loved basically everything about this book, the characters were great, the writing was fantastic…all of it was amazing! I haven’t read the other books in the series but after this one I definitely will!
A huge THANK YOU to NetGally and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for this ARC

I really enjoyed this book which was an unexpected treat. The fact that he is her arch-nemesis from high school and she highly dislikes him but he’s always liked her since high school…ugh love it.
What started off as just sleeping with the enemy, London and Drew find themselves falling in love with each other. Love Love Loved it! C'mon, who doesn't love a good enemies to lovers romance especially a spicy one!
London was such a smart, confident heroine even though she was flawed. The way she acted with her patients was lovely to see. Drew also smart, incredibly sweet and I loved how he put so much effort into showing London that there was more to him.
Drew fought for their hookup to turn into a relationship and he did not back down. The fact that he was willing to move wherever for her was so cute. They supported each other in such a big way and it’s always amazing to see that.
This is the third book in the series and even though, I’m doing things very backwards, I can’t wait to check out the first two books and see Samiah and Taylor’s stories come to life.
Thank you Netgalley and Farrah Rochon for providing me with this arc in exchange for an honest review.

Very excited to finish this series by Farrah Rochon! I think I liked this book better than book two. In The Hookup Plan they're enemies...but they're also attracted to each other...so they enter a mutual agreement....and then they CATCH ALL THE FEELS. Superior trope. For sure.

This final installment of the boyfriend project series will definitely be a fan favorite. The frenemies to lovers trope was a good for Drew and London. Watching those two on the pages was pure joy. I also enjoyed seeing the sisterhood between London, Taylor, and Samiah become even stronger as the series ended. So many lessons can be found in the story and each one is worth receiving. Rochon did a great job with this here tale. I would strongly recommend this story to those who already read The Boyfriend Project and The Dating Playbook and to readers looking for a new author and/or series.

I really loved London as a main character. She's witty, driven, and strong-willed while still being a caring doctor, daughter, and sister. I enjoyed seeing London's relationships grow and change throughout the book. Not just with Drew, but with her younger siblings and father. Her growth throughout the book was something I hadn't really seen from the other books and I think it was a nice addition to the typical romance.
The relationship between Drew and London though was STEAMY and I LOVED it! At times it was a little cheesy, but a majority of the time I was all in. Drew is super dreamy (aren't all young, sweet millionaires though?) and I was rooting for them from the beginning. I also really loved the ending of the book. It felt like it wrapped up the series nicely and I'm excited to read some more by this author!
*I will also post this review to IG closer to the pub date*

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the ARC of The Hookup Plan. I am sharing a review voluntarily.
London and Drew reunite at their 15 year HS reunion and the distaste they felt for each other in high school resurfaces and quickly turns into sexual tension and attraction. They set a flimsy plan for one night together and break it immediately. They clear the air as they are assigned to work on a project together and their relationship evolves from petty bickering to friendship with benefits.
I was intrigued by the synopsis and thought it sounded like a fun read. It turned out to be a fun read and also a realistic look at families, relationships and career pressure.
Drew is one of my favorite characters I’ve read in a long while. I loved the perspective his character shared by his experiences. London’s character took longer for me to warm up to as she was pretty snarky and petty in the beginning. She mellowed out and I loved the way her relationship with her siblings evolved.
The friendship between Samiah, Taylor and London was so fun to read and be a part of.
The writing is fresh and joy-filled. I had fun reading and felt connected to the characters.
I wish the conflict with the lead doctor had been addressed more and that he’d gotten his.
I recommend this for a fun and steamy ready with a cinnamon roll guy.

The conclusion to the Boyfriend Project series, gives us a moment to dive into London's world and learn just who London is. Of the three women, London is the successful yet overworked pediatric surgeon and the one who intrigued me the most. She's a dreamer, certain of the difference she wants to achieve in the world, and just stubborn enough that you believe that she will be able to accomplish it.
Drew is her high-school "rival" who London was always trying to do better than and was determined to best every chance she got. Fast forward a couple of years to her highschool reunion and London finds herself running into Drew and realizing that maybe he's exactly what she needs. There's family drama, work issues and of course, some soul searching on both of their parts, It was a great read.

This is my favorite book of the series so far! I absolutely loved the vibes that this book gave! It felt like a Grey's Anatomy book mixed with a friends/enemies to lovers feel. London Kelley is a successful pediatric surgeon and she is reunited with Drew Sullivan, her rival from high school. They reconnect at a high school reunion, and despite their rocky history, they end up creating a hookup plan - just physical relationship and no feelings. Clearly this doesn't work, and eventually both parties develop feelings. Overall, this was such a fun book that I read in one sitting. I enjoyed the hospital drama and big life decisions that have to be made. Their relationship was so cute! This book was the perfect mix of story and spice.

I adored this book. I have loved this whole series, and London’s story was the perfect conclusion. It was sexy and funny, and was a very well done enemies-to-lovers romance. All the stars, highly recommend!
Note: It’s third in a trilogy but can be read as a stand-alone, though there are minor spoilers from the previous two books.
Thank you netgalley and Forever for the gifted e-galley of this book. :)

I loved this! This might just be my favorite book of the series. London and Drew's chemistry was palpable. The only thing that annoyed me was that London seemed intent on ignoring her growing feelings for Drew and the "will they/won't they" dragged on for too long. I was glad when London finally came to her senses and realized she wanted a relationship. But, I will admit, it was nice that the guy was the one wanting more with the female being the one who only wanted the sex for once. Overall, would highly recommend.

Farrah has done it again! I LOVED The Dating Playbook, so reading London's story was a no brainer!
I'm a sucker for the enemies-to-lovers trope and this was HOT. Drew has a heart made of gold and I love our badass pediatrician heroine London.

London Kelley is a highly successful pediatric surgical resident, the most successful person at everything she has done (except she was co-valedictorian in high school), and is currently serving as the HS reunion planner.
Drew Sullivan is a multi millionaire, a super successful businessman in the healthcare sector and was London Kelley's co- valedictorian from HS. He also has had a major crush on her since HS. And London has always despised Drew because he challenged her academic endeavors.
Drew attends the reunion and connects with London despite her attempts to avoid him. She ends up joining him for a drink and a whole plethora of adventure follows.
Read Farrah Rochon's best novel yet and the third in this series. It is hands down my favorite and the best of the three, though all are amazing. I may have connected a bit more with this one due to personal experience but regardless it touches the heartstrings, takes us on adventures and leads us to the ending that London is supposed to have.

The Hookup Plan is the third in series, pairing London with her former high school archnemesis, Drew. Hooking up after their high school reunion was supposed to be a one-time deal, but when Drew shows up at the hospital where London is a surgeon, an idea is born to continue, but with no strings.
Little by little, the lines drawn in the relationship fade as they spend more time together, working to save the hospital, find funding to save a project she wants, and each dealing with personal and family issues. Blurred lines lead to a relationship status for which neither is prepared nor planned, and the future is uncertain.
This is a fantastic enemies to lovers read I highly recommend!
received an ARC from netgalley

I have read the other 2 books in this series and I loved them, and I love this one too.
This is London's story of the three friends (Samiah, Taylor and London). London is a pediatric surgeon resident at a local hospital. The hospital is having money problems and is considering selling to a company that would make it a for profit facility. This sell is something that London is very much against and doesn't hold her tongue about disapproving.
Enter Drew, London's nemesis from High School. They hook back up at their HS reunion and they hook up in more ways than one that weekend. Drew has had a thing for London since they were in high school but she really didn't like him and wouldn't give him the time of day. So when London presents him with the opportunity to just hook up a few times while he is in town, he couldn't pass it up.
That is where things really start to get good.
This was a wonderful story. I really enjoyed how the author made the characters well rounded and she didn't let one character run everything. Even though this was London's story it wasn't just her running the show. She had challenges but at her job and in her personal life that didn't just center around Drew. It was also nice to see a guy pursue a female character by listening to her instead of just spending money.
This story, even though it is book 3, can be read on it's own. You would miss little things but the very subtle recaps are enough that you wouldn't fee totally lost.
Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing), Forever for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley, (Forever) Grand Central Publishing, and Farrah Rochon for an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review! I’ve been wanting to read a book by this author for a long time and I’m happy to say that this is my first! It’s fun, steamy, and charming and makes for a great read. I really enjoyed the writing style in this one and the characters. London was such a cool main character and I loved learning more about her career and life. Drew was also a fun love interest and the side characters were also very interesting. Overall, this is a great romance book, and I recommend it!

Ya know, I can actually say that I enjoy 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑃𝑙𝑎𝑦𝑏𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠 by Farrah Rochon. I kind of skipped the second book and landed on the third thanks to NetGalley but I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you’re familiar with the series, this story follows London; the bad-ass tell it like it is pediatric surgeon. She’s at her high school reunion and runs into her arch nemesis, Drew, who is STILL fine, STILL smart, STILL making bank, and just so happen to be in town for a couple of months. So after a few drinks London decides to make a deal with him to take her to pound town with no strings attached whenever she wants, then fly back to NY like these last few weeks never happened 😜 but Pʟᴏᴛ Tᴡɪsᴛ: she didn’t expect the sex to be that good and he’s been crushing on her since high school so The Hookup Plan definitely takes a turn.. The story was light, funny, and a quick, easy read (things I love about Rom-Coms🥰)
SN: I also highly appreciate books that hit on successful black women with strong friendships, because we need to see more of that!

The Hookup Plan is a book that was high on my tbr and it lived up to the hype! London and Daniel were enemies in high school. But now, Daniel’s a multimillionaire who wants to win London over. London and Daniel knew each other before the book even begins but it would have been cool to see flashbacks to when they first met. That would have added to the story. Overall, I fell in love with London and Daniel’s chemistry.

"London knew one member of the team that she wanted to run into. With her Mini Cooper"
This book was really good. London is a smart and charismatic lead character. She is a very successful pediatric surgeon and is proud of her work and her success. I loved seeing a character, that although humble, she didn't stray from being proud of her professional success. Often even when female characters have high profile careers, the plot line revolves around them having imposter syndrome. I loved that this wasn't the case here. On top of it, it was very refreshing to have black lead, especially since it is so rare to see in literature especially in the way that Rochon wrote them as. Drew was also a captivating love interest. There were some parts I was slightly confused when some plot points kind of just dissipated, but otherwise this was a good read.

4.5/5 stars
I knew London was going to be my favorite friend, and this book did not disappoint. I will say though, she and Drew are not my favorite couple of the three. This book taught me when they say don't tell your friends about your relationship cause they will still be mad while you have moved on is true. I stayed mad at Drew for knowingly and intentionally lying to London about his being in Austin for way longer than I probably should have and it affected how I read the book.
It was a good 50-60% into the book before I warmed back up to Drew. Usually I love a he loves her first story and male pining, but I felt like he was very pushy in trying to get London to see him as more even though she made her feelings clear. I also had the spector of what was going to happen with their jobs when people at Trident found out looking over my head giving me secondhand anxiety. Though I enjoyed how the author handled the third act issue. And ten points for skipping any miscommunication tropes.
Once I got past my own hang ups, the book was a great read. Drew won me over bit by bit. London hit a little close to home as someone whose day job is extremely demanding and books no time off. I could see the same dangerous habits in myself that I needed to change. Watching London's growth and both the growth as a couple gave me all the warm and fuzzies!
In addition to just being an enjoyable, well written story, can we talk about to steamy!! This romance is definitely on the steamier side of thing. I had hoped with the f*ck buddy premise and I got everything I hoped for. Definitely gonna need to fan yourself for a couple of scenes.
This was an amazing ending to this trilogy! All three of my babies are in love and THRIVING!! This series has cemented the author on my autobuy for adult romances!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of this title in exchange for an honest review!
The Hookup Plan is the third book in The Boyfriend Project series by Farrah Rochon. When pediatric surgery resident London Kelley finds herself burnt out and unsupported as she tries to introduce changes at her local hospital, she decides that a casual hookup with her high school rival, Drew Sullivan, is the perfect way to blow off some steam. London and Drew find that their chemistry is as strong as it ever was and quickly fall faster than either had planned. However, when London discovers that Drew is in town to review the hospital’s finances and decide its future, she has to decide if she can trust her fledgling relationship with Drew or if her high school distrust of him was warranted.
This was so fun! Although I hadn’t read the first two books in the series, I felt right at home with Drew and London, who are warm, well-rounded characters who must grapple with the realization as adults that their high school perceptions of each other might not have told the full story. I loved getting to know their friends, families, and to hear more about the histories that shaped them into the people they are now. I loved that there was a deep respect between the two characters and that there were multiple chances for them to hide the truth or prevaricate in order to benefit themselves/the relationship, but they still chose to tell the truth. My only tiny quibble is that the high school enmity dragged on a tiny bit long for me, but I loved that, once they were past that, this was such an enjoyable romance with two mature, level-headed characters. This was a lovely reading experience for me, and I definitely look forward to reading more by Rochon in the future. 4.25 stars.
