My daughter and I both loved this book! For little girls, anything cute and Unicorn is fantastic. But the story also kept her engaged. The illustrations are beautiful.
Thank you, Net Galley.

Cute, imaginative tale that will hold the attention of young readers. Charming narration that will keep any little one listening..

Shannon Hale is one of my favorite authors for older kids (Princess Academy and The Goose Girl) and even adults (Austenland). It was fun to see she also writes picture books for young children. This is a cute story about being who you are, friendship, and acceptance. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a temporary digital copy to use for my review.

This was a cute book about a kitty-corn and I think kids will definitely like the adventure and the colorful pages.

*received for free from netgalley for honest review* really cute first book for a kids series, purrfect (lol) for young readers

This was so cute!!! The story had a lovely message that brought out floods of memories from my childhood. The narration was brilliant and I quite enjoyed all of the cast. I think the concept of the story was really sweet and I would totally recommend this audio book for kids of varying ages.

This was my first audio picture book. I enjoyed the story, it has a great message about embracing who you are. The issue that I had was that since the book is actually a picture book and you are missing the pictures it would be advantageous to have descriptions written about the cute characters. I have read the picture book and have seen the cute illustrations and wish that they could be shared with the reader.

What an important topic told in captivating, cute way. My 6-year-old loved, and I love, the values learned about accepting who you are.

I just listened to the audioARC of Itty-Bitty Kitty-Corn by Shannon Hale with my 5 year old daughter and 8 year old son. They both were smiling and laughing while listening. I thought it was a cute story about being true to who you are even when others try to discourage you.
My daughter thought it was great and loved how the kitty kept trying to be who she wanted to be. And my son liked the music audio effects (like when the kitty talked a cat meowed).

First off, the cover of this book is super adorable. When I was browsing audiobooks, I couldn't pass this one up. My niece is obsessed with kitty-corns and anything unicorn, so I figured this would be an excellent way to see if this is a book that her bookshelf needed. The writing is what you expect with a kid's book, and I liked the imaginative play and self-exploration. The narration was good as well. I liked that it was a full cast narration, but I definitely think this would be better as a picture book. The writing didn't set a scene, so pictures would be ideal. All in all, it was a cute read but lacking as an audiobook.

Itty-Bitty Kitty-Corn will appeal to young unicorn fans, but not much of a wider audience. The text tries to explore the themes of self-identity and acceptance but falls short in making it easily accessible to a young reader without support. The full cast audiobook version of Itty-Bitty Kitty-Corn is a fine performance from the narrators, but the text alone lacks the context the target audience needs to make their own mental images. If this was paired with the ebook or physical book I would consider purchasing it and giving it a higher rating.

This was an easy and quick read for lower elementary school students. The illustrations are whimsical and vibrant. I really enjoyed the light hearted tale of an unlikely character to adore.

A magically fun read for kids of any age! I read this one to my nieces (ages 4 and 8), and they all adored it. I loved seeing friendships not based on what animal they are, and the emphasis on everyone truly being unique and that's what makes them special.

This is a fun story. It covers emotions of feelings of self and how others perceive you in a way that kids can understand. It also shows how to step up and be a good and helpful person, even if it’s not for someone you know. All good messages and the cast was enjoyable to listen to.

I received an audiobook copy via NetGalley for review~
This was a such a cute book! I loved that there was a full character cast and the audiobook offered sound effects and imagery for kids. This would be a great way to have a more interactive bedtime story with your kids. 4 out of 5 stars.

Itty-Bitty Kitty-Corn by Shannon Hale is a darling story about a kitty who sees herself as so much more- despite what the nay-sayers think! The audiobook is narrated by a full cast, giving each character their own voice, which really brought the story to life. My seven year old daughter loved listening to the story, but without pictures it was harder to follow and really engage with for my four year old daughter. After we listened to it, I got the e-book from the library and read it to them where they could see the pictures and my four year old then loved it too. The illustrations by Leuyen Pham are charming. Both my children loved the book. For younger children (like my four year old), I would recommended the physical or e-book, but older children (like my seven year old) will enjoy the audiobook too. Since seeing the illustrations both my girls like the audiobook more, since they can better picture what is happening.
I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook from Dreamscape Media and NetGalley, opinions in this review are my own.

Itty-Bitty Kitty-Corn by Shannon Hale is a very cute audio book. Is very cute though the book says for ages 4-8 I will buy for my granddaughter for Easter. My granddaughter is two and loves kitties and unicorns.

This audiobook was very cute - my kids loved the different voices, and I thought that the background track selected really added to the story. The theme of the book was acceptance, that it's ok to be exactly who you are & to live your dreams. The storyline is not very involved, so I think that a target audience of 3-4 year olds would enjoy this book the most.

This is a super cute story about being yourself. What child doesn’t love unicorns and kitties? I thought it was well written.
The audio performance was great. The full cast and sound effects were fantastic choices

This was a wonderful and sweet audiobook. I listened to it with my 6 year old daughter and we both loved it. The voices were wonderful and engaging and the production value was very high. We have read the physical book before (which both my kids loved) and listening to the book made us want to read the picture book again. A great listening experience!
