NOTES ON A COWARDLY LION written by Bert Lahr's son John was a bit of a disappointment. Lahr is purported to be a good writer. For many years he was the drama critic at THE NEW YORKER and has several books to his name.
However, my main issue with the book is I thought it poorly written. Some of the information about Bert Lahr was interesting, but it's not a fun read.
