I love this series! I already own the first two volumes both personally and in my work library.

Ida learns to full eraser story. Aoki is still a bit hung up over Ida and Hashimoto is still pining after Aida. Things just get worse when the class takes a school trip to a ski resort, which has a serious training regime for skiing. Of course Ida and Aida end up in the top class, class A, while Aoki and Hashimoto end up in the bottom class, class D.

The ski instructors are hard on them, but despite their best efforts they fail to improve. The instructor basically tells them both it's because they are to passive and flippy floppy (totally not what they actually said) in life to improve. They must come back with clear intentions in life. Both take it to mean that their inability to actively make their feelings clear is their issue and set out to clear the air!!!

The art continues to be fantastic. The hilarious faces this author draws to represent over the top emotions in certain situations still delights me and gives me a good chuckle. The comedy is still at play, but it FINALLY seems like Aoki and Ida are getting somewhere and Hashimoto gets brave enough to act upon her feelings.

Conclusion?

I absolutely love this series!

Somehow, I feel that me just writing "yay!" over and over again, while accurate to my feelings about this volume, isn't exactly helpful. Anyway, points to this volume for the amazing ski trip (training arc?) from hell. It was ridiculous and amazing. It made it a fun, different, setting for all the emotions going on. The expressions on the characters still continue to be one of my favorite aspects of this series. Story-wise this was a satisfying volume. Our group's dynamic has changed, and I am here for both of these outcomes.

I love this series so much! Volume 3 just solidified this series as a must read in my opinion. The story is so sweet and cute, the characters are all amazing, and the relationships progress in a very realistic way. I truly love and enjoy this series and everyone needs to read it.

I feel like there is not much else I can say that I haven't already for this series. This volume was once again filled with lots of funny and adorable moments. I loved seeing the progress on the two relationships that are continuing to grow, even at a slow pace. Definitely one of my favourite romance series.

Aoki is the definition of a disaster gay. Ida continues to be very swoon-worthy and so much more patient than I would be in his shoes! Akkun and Hashimoto are cute and I like how their relationship is progressing. Overall I really appreciate how this series focuses on the awkwardness of crushes and teenage relationships, and the importance of respecting each others' feelings. The comedy is sometimes of the ridiculous side, but the art style is fun and engaging, and there are deep feelings underneath the chaos.

Thank you, VIZ Media, for allowing me to read My Love Mix-Up!, Vol. 2 early!

This story keeps getting better and better! When does the fourth volume come out again? I will probably need to reread the first three manga multiple times so that I can bear the wait.

This 3rd volume of My Love Mix=Up! thankfully, moves the two (so far) unfulfilled crushes / mixed-up romances forward in a satisfying way, While not *quite* getting them to the 'finish line" of becoming "couples," it's nice to see that they don't stay at square one all the time. Along the way, they start to get to know each other better, and that's a lot of fun to watch this unfold too. It gives the reader a chance to really fall in love with these characters and their quirks.

As in many shojo manga stories, the characters go on a class trip that bring them closer together, but by setting it in Hokkaido in a ski trip that's anything but relaxing adds an element of humor that's both fun and fresh. Also, the way this volume handles the "heart-broken girl threatening to get a drastically, potentially unflattering haircut" plot twist is also hilarious and heartwarming too.

All in all, a great 3rd volume that rewards the reader for getting this far, and sets the stage for wanting to see what will happen next in future volumes.

I received an eARC of this title through NetGalley in return for an honest review.

I'm not sure what more I can say about this manga series that I have not already said. It is a sweet LGBTQUI+ themed manga that, in my opinion, keeps getting better. It really touches on the meaning of friendships and relationships in respect to how one person can see something one way and another can see it a completely different. One moment could mean so much to a person without the other really knowing or understanding.

Again, filled with moments of laughter and ooooooo's and awwwww's, this manga will give you all the feels.

I couldn't help comparing this to Blue Flag and it just didn't measure up. It was an ok read but not cute enough, not funny enough and not interesting enough. I found the illustrations looked somewhat unfinished. The whole business with the school ski trip at the start felt out of sync with the rest of the book.

I received this arc from netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

The latest installment in the My Love Mix-Up! is as cute as ever. In this volume, we see our adorable love square experience a classic high school manga trope: the class trip. Meanwhile, feelings bubble up and come to the forefront to mixed results. I just adore this series, such an easy read but with so much heart.

Another fun installment to this series. We see some progress between the couples, though it is fraught with misunderstandings.

Thanks to NetGalley and VIZ for an advanced digital copy to read and review.

It’s school trip time and Aoki, Hashimoto, Ida, and Aida end up in Hokkaido. It’s not as pleasant as you might think. It turns out to be skiing boot camp hell! Especially for Aoki and Hashimoto, who are hopeless at skiing.

There’s always something in My Love Mix-Up that makes me laugh. There are plenty of those instances in this volume, but I wish there were a few more sweet moments between Aoki and Ida. It feels like the relationship(s) are moving forward infinitesimally. But the comedy and artwork are top notch, so I won’t complain.

Recommended to people who like rom-coms and shojo manga that doesn’t take itself too seriously!

I love this series even more as it goes on. By this volume we're getting alot more characterization as the main four characters become a friend group and their relationships evolve. Aoki and Hashimoto's friendship is amazing and so well done, I love reading about how supportive they are and the antics they get in to. Throw Aida in and Ida spends alot of time playing rhe straight man to the other three, and the dynamic works really well. The relationships (Aoki and Ida, Aida and Hashimoto) are progressing in very different, but interesting ways. This series continues to be not only hugely entertaining, but also a fantastic example of a much needed type of story in shojo manga.

YES I'm so happy to read the next volume, I read it so fast!! It's truly the best romance manga I've read in a long time. My heart flutters everytime I read a next volume!

4/5

The third volume of My Love Mix-Up was equally as strange as the first two, if not more so. I love that there’s no bounds of reality sometimes. Like the school trip shenanigans and the main character turning into goo and no-one caring.
The actually drama is pretty good though. I like that deeper feelings are starting to develop yet the tone is still being kept light. It’s easy and fun to read still, and hopefully won’t become one of those heavy-all-the-time mangas that make me unnecessarily cry all the time.
There’s a lot of talking around everyone’s feelings, but thankfully there’s actually development later on in this volume. I’m also glad there is more character growth for the side characters too.
There’s not much else to say though. As usual the art is great, pacing of events is strange but easy to follow.
I’m interested to see what developments there’ll be in the next volume.

LGBTQ+ hIGH SCHOOL ROMANCES WITH AWKWARDNESS ARE THE BEST!
What kind of school trip makes a trip like a goddamn prison for some groups, LORD! Although, I will admit it was hilarious!
I adore this manga because it genuinely portrays the awkwardness of falling in love with characters; Ida wants to try dating to see what he feels, which he knows is something, and Aoki gain courage and tells him he loves him!
The fact that the side characters are so well rounded and are supportive and going through growth themselves also warms my heart!

Three volumes into a BL series and instead of taking the typical, unhealthy route, it is still adorable as hell. The characters are all distinct, flawed, and likeable. I cannot wait to see how they grow
