I just read the first five chapters of this book and it’s safe to say we are in for a real treat! 😉 I will be not so patiently waiting for this book to be released!

Wicked Beauty is an Olympus retelling which focuses on the classic gods we’ve seen and read about. The main characters appear to be Helen, Achilles and Patroclus but as I only read the preview which is the first 5 chapters it’s hard to say if that theme continues throughout so I will assume that it does❣️

I have never read anything by Katee but love the concept of the gods and the mischief they get up to, so thought this would be a nice change😁 I’m intrigued to find out more about the three trials and what happens next.

Without reading the whole book I can’t give an overall rating based off the previews that I read it is not a retelling more of a inspiration. Also the beginning of the book was very much predictable.

I'm not a stranger to Katee Roberts' Dark Olympus series - I've read Electric Idol, I've got Neon Gods and Electric Idol special editions coming, and have Wicked Beauty on preorder already (preorder incentives FTW!). That being said, I'm familiar with Helen and am excited to get a look into her personality and I think she carries Wicked Beauty well as a protagonist. I've also been dying for a MMF relationship and Katee has fulfilled all my wildest dreams with the inclusion of Achilles and Patroclus. My only criticism is for the series as a whole - when I read Electric Idol I felt thrown by the concept that everyone follows the Greek God mythology in naming convention only, but none of the characters have any associated powers - this is more of a mafia dark romance series with a lot more fluff than would be expected.

I’ve become obsessed with this authors writing and I’m so excited to see where this book goes. It’s sensual, sexy, and addicting. What more can someone want?

Ahhh what a wonderful preview for this book. The 5 chapters offer an introduction to the main characters Helen of Troy, Achilles, and Patroclus, the dynamics and power struggles of Olympus and their motivations for the competition that they each enter for a seat at the high table of Olympus. The sparks are already flying and I'm always excited to see Achilles and Patroclus together. This snippet was tempting enough to want to pre-order the book and and go back and read the first two books in the series while I anxiously wait for June 7!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS BOOK TO BE RELEASED, JUNE CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH!

I love any book by Katee Robert, especially because she always writes this super tough heroine. I am LIVING for The Dark Olympus series. In this novel, we see Helen, the daughter of Zeus fighting to become Ares rather than her becoming the wife of Ares. I can already tell that she is going to be a powerhouse of a character. Not only do we gain more insight into Helen and her characteristics, but we also meet Achilles and Patroclus.

Achilles and Patroclus are the main love interests in this book and I'm rather excited to see where their story leads. Their chemistry is unmatched and I can tell that they will survive whatever is thrown at them. With tensions running high in Olympus, I can only hope that the next Ares is either Achilles or Helen so that their poly triad relationship becomes stable.

This preview brought spice, plot, groveling, grumpy x sunshine, and so much more. I can't wait to read the rest of this novel when it comes out and recommend it to everyone I know.

The fact this is a preview...ARE YOU KIDDING? I have loved the last two Neon Gods books and I cannot wait for this one! This preview is just what I needed but also not because I actually need the whole book! Bring on the m/m/f please!!!

I CAN'T wait to read the rest! The Ares of Olympus has passed and now there is a competition for who will be the next Ares with Helen as the winning prize—a wife to the victor. Only, she doesn't want to be wedded. Scheming, she enters herself.

Achilles enters as well with the help of his boyfriend Patroclus. Unbeknownst to him, Patroclus and Helen have a history and she has eyes for him now. This only complicating the already obstructed game.

Really enjoyed this series! I cannot wait till this one comes out!

I've only read the first in this series so far, but this preview has made me SO excited to continue. I love the world Katee Robert has created. It's so dazzling and vivid and modern gods might be my newest favorite thing. I'm so glad I got to read the sample and I can't WAIT to finish the rest!!

Love this! I love the directions is going, I’ve read the previous two books and this one went in a direction I did not expect and I’m so happy the sample made me very excited to continue reading the book when it does release. I enjoy Katie Roberts writing so much, I enjoyed her fast paced and the way she describes people and things while still leaving enough space for the imagination.

WE AREN'T READY. I fall deeper and deeper in love with Katee Robert and the worlds she creates. Whether it's a greek mythology retelling or a retelling of our favorite Disney characters; There is nothing this woman can't do. The little snippet into Wicked Beauty left me wanting more and I cannot wait for June to roll around so that I can get my hands on it.

I love this wonderful plot premise! I’m so here for Helen fighting her own battle for personal freedom and familial recognition! I am interested in seeing how our 3 MC’s navigate the inevitable challenges on both the political and romantic fronts.

If I read the whole thing, it will be more for Helen’s story and less for the poly-romance that is being set up.

First off, I am so beyond grateful to receive the ARC of chapters 1-5 but let the record reflect it simply wasn’t enough!

Jumping back into Robert’s Dark Olympus series this book is not for the faint of heart, it is spicy (within the first few chapters). Helen obviously intrigued me when we got to know her in book 2 but she is more of a complex heroine than I originally anticipated. I’m hooked. The complexities of being a Kasios in this new twisted family tree is a welcomed change from Demeter’s daughters offering is a fresh look into the complexities of The Thirteen. I also love the dynamic of seeing more then two characters’ points of view. I cannot wait to find out what will happen next, I’m definitely rooting for Helen to prove to her brother and sister she is a force to reckoned with. June 7th cannot come soon enough, and yes I of course preordered.

4.5 * - Not my usual choice - but I enjoyed it anyway. I like the characters were real (as much as mythological characters can be) and felt myself get sucked in to determine what happens next. Will pick up other books in the series!

This book won't be the exception from the previous Katee Robert's bools. This story contains a lot of action, tension, jealousy, sexy as hell, battle of wills, empowerment, a sizzling romance. This was just a preview and I can tell by what I've read .. this story will be mind blowing .. the story is about Helen Kasios, Patroclus and Achilles. A fight for Ares position, and everything that will come from within. You will get angry, mad, swoon, and fall in love with the plot. I Can't wait to read this !!
