This memoir tells about life in Iran around the time of the revolution and how the author made a life for herself, completely different from the one she would have had in Iran had she stayed. It is a fairly quick read, the narration at times is a bit "youthful" perhaps the author was trying to write as if she was still at the age she was during the events she was describing? It is also a bit slow at times, but otherwise a pretty interesting read. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to read and review this book!
