Thoroughly enjoyed this read. The search from 'Awesome Andreas' was a real feel good story, humourous and entertaining. Didn't see the twist coming until the end!
A perfect holiday read.

Lydia and her friends Kat and Amira flew to Greece. Upon return she was moving in with her boyfriend and her boss, Jim. On night Lydia wandered off by herself, a little drunk, and the next day she realized she had a tattoo “Awesome Andreas” on her back. She wondered how she would tell Jim about the tattoo she did not remember getting. Once back and in their apartment, he did not seem to pay much attention to her. The next day she found out that he was not even paying her what he paid his other employees. She was fed up and walked out on him and her job, taking the first flight back to Greece. She was determined to find out who the awesome Andreas was. Things fell into place when Alexis found her trying to get into the tattoo parlor across from his bookstore. He fed her and managed to get his sister to hire her as a cleaner at her hotel which provided a room to stay as well as a small salary. I loved this book! I felt like I toured Greece along with Lydia. It was fun to see her date each Andreas with their different personalities. Alexis and his family were wonderful characters and Lizzie grew with confidence and grace. Great book!

Lydia Evans is on a holiday in Greece with her two girlfriends, Amira and Kat. On their last night they visit a few bars and have a few drinks. Lydia wakes up very hungover and has trouble remembering what she did. Lydia discovers she has a tattoo on her back declaring that Andreas is awesome.
This was fun to read, Lydia has no idea who Andreas is and her friends think it is hilarious. Lydia wants the tattoo gone but for the time being she will have to let it heal and hope her boyfriend does not see it.
My thanks to NetGalley for letting me sample the first 3 chapters would love to read the complete book.

The perfect summer beach side read. Laugh out loud rom com, which will transport you to the beautiful country of Greece. To lap up the sun, sea and sand. You can almost feel the heat, smell the sea breeze and feel the sand between your toes.

In this book we meet Lydia who has woken up blindingly drunk and with a tattoo saying awesome Andreas. What happened last night? How did she get so roaringly drunk? And who on earth is Andreas?

So Lydia decides to track down the mysterious Andreas. But the path of true love never did run smooth and what entails is one disastrous date after another, and another. Just as Lydia starts to loose hope in every finding out what happened that night and where Andreas might be hiding fate decides to offer a helping hand.

I thought this was the whole book, but when I started to read it I realised it was only the first 2 chapters. Not sure if it was a mistake or if I just received a sample but I was slightly disappointed.

I enjoyed what I read and will buy the book at some point to finish it.

I loved this quirky holiday romance story! It had a different storyl8ne to most chick lit holiday reads which made it stand out! Lydia wakes up towards the end of her holiday in Greece with a tattoo on her back saying Awesome Andreas! She has no idea who Andreas is or why he was awesome! In a bid to find out, she goes back to Greece a few weeks later we the. Have a fun lighthearted story as she goes on dates with possible Andreas’s!!
A funny easy read!

Another wonderful read from Emily Kerr. How many of us, like Lydia have arrived home from holiday with an unsolved tale & then wanted to get right back on the next flight back to solve your questions? Well, Lydia did just that, after arriving home with a mysterious tattoo that she had no recall of having done.
Beautifully written, the perfect escapism read to the lovely island of Kefolonia.

Thank you to the publisher for my review copy. All opinions are my own.

This was delightful. Although I do not believe it is YA…it gave me a little Love & Gelato feel. Let’s be honest. I adored this vibe.

Greece is always a huge win and this particular title confirmed…Greece is indeed on my bucket list.

If you like sweet romance and coming of age/finding yourself…pick it up.

Lydia is known for being the sensible one but on a girls holiday to Greece she wakes up extremely hungover on the day she is due to fly home to find out she has a tattoo and no recollection what so ever how she got it
After her boyfriend who is also her boss shows no interest or reaction to it and discovering that he has been repeatedly passing her over for a pay rise after they became a couple she dumps him and makes a sudden decision to go back to Kefalonia to try and find 'Awesome Andreas ' who she now has tattooed on her back
A fun summer read, loved it

This was a feel good romance. It was corny, it was funny and although you could see who Awesome Andreas was from fairly early on, you had to follow the story and hope things worked out. I loved the relationship with Lydia and her female friends, such great support. And it made me want to abandon life and head to a new country to live more simply. A beautiful easy read, and one to keep you company on a beach this summer. #netgalley #takeachanceongreece

Lydia returns from her holiday in Greece with an unwelcome addition. A tattoo she has no memory of. Being home causes her to finally look at her life then decide to fly back to Greece to discover the truth behind her tattoo.

This was a fun summer read. Ideal for on the beach. Lydie did make me question her sanity at times and yet I admired her daring. The plot is simple but fun. The ending is predictable as expected in these stories but I liked how it came together. The ending scene was so perfectly put together. The writing does a brilliant job at describing the sheer beauty of the location. I liked Lydia and Alexis is amazing, I mean he runs a book shop who needs more. A fun read that I enjoyed.

Lydia is a rather staid accountant with an even more boring (and, it turns out, controlling) boyfriend on her way back from a girls' holiday to Kefalonia when she discovers she has a mystery tattoo, of all things, reading "Awesome Andreas". Circumstances dictate that she's soon back on the island, trying to track down the mysterious Andreas: I love that Kerr once again fleshes out all the details of what she does to settle herself down, get herself a job, do her laundry and make friends in the local community, so the novel, while an escapist and full read, gets rooted in reality and practicality - I really like this in a book.

I love the community aspect of this book, and also the super descriptions which really make you want to go to Greece. Lydia's main friend on the island, a lovely bookseller, is kind and respectful, unlike some of the other men she hilariously meets; maybe she's looking in slightly the wrong places.

The plot is well-done; of course you know who she's going to end up with but how's she going to get there and will she learn to hoover quickly? A good read with stable roots, and also a good friendship group for Lydia back home, connected via modern means and giving humour and support to proceedings.

Lydia wakes up hungover in Greece, rushing to catch a plane back to the UK with her besties. She sobers up to find that she has a tattoo on her back that says "Awesome Andreas." She has absolutely no memory of getting the tattoo or even Andreas. What's worse is that she is on the way home to her boyfriend, whose name is Jim!
Back home, she starts to see that Jim is manipulative and not the one for her. She quits her job and buys a one way ticket back to Greece to find Andreas. She has no plan, money or any idea where to start. This is the first time she's decided to take control of her life. What follows is a series of good fortune and bad dates with random men named Andreas.
This was a good "beach read" with a great twist at the end. Another pleasant read by Emily Kerr.

Take a Chance on Greece is the story of Lydia Evans, who finds herself tattooed with the name of a complete stranger and in the spur of the moment, decides to find him. She dumps her boyfriend, leaves her job and goes back to Kefalonia in Greece to find 'Awesome Andreas'.

This story was an enjoyable read, though there were moments when I thought Lydia's actions were a bit unbelievable. I found Alexis to be sweet but I wasn't too convinced with his side of the story in not coming clean sooner. That being said, the book is an easy summer read and the setting is absolutely gorgeous.

When Lydia wakes up with a dreadful hangover and a very sore back it is all she can do to get to the airport for her flight home. She then discovers that her holiday souvenir is a tattoo saying “awesome Andreas”. But just who is Andreas, why is him name etched permanently into her skin and more importantly what is her boyfriend Jim going to say about it?

What follows is a sweet, romantic and funny story about how Lydia finds both herself and much more. A perfect beach read.

A happy, feel good story set in beautiful Greece. When Lydia, the sensible one, wakes up to find a tattoo she didn't remember getting, her life needs to change. The journey to find the truth results in friendship, a new job and eventually love. A tale of finding yourself and happiness. A bit predictable but so enjoyable.
