Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for a review.
A light and easy summer read which I enjoyed whilst on holiday.
This is a delightful, uplifting and, at times, hilarious read. At first I didn’t like the story involving Ella’s parents, but the other story lines kept me hooked. I particularly enjoyed the hens night and bridezilla tales - laugh out loud funny.
Plot: Ella is a seamstress working in a bridal shop for the boss from hell. Recently dumped by her boyfriend and about to be a bridesmaid at her best friend Brittany's wedding she feels like life is passing her by. After agreeing to be set up on a blind date that doesnt show up she meets Kit.
Kit is adament he isnt looking for romance, not even a friendship with Ella but what happens when their paths keep crossing.
Review: This is a great relaxing read. I loved all the characters in this book especially Ella and Kit. It was a lovely enjoyable storyline and tackled some important subjects along the way. It will definitely not disappoint and i would highly recommend it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.".
I read A Wedding at Sandy Cove, what can I say this was a fun read. The reason why I love to read is to take sometime and forget the hurt the world us going there.. This book made me smile the whole way through. 5 star read 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thanks Netgalley for a arc copy of this book for a honest review
Happy Reading Lisa 📚
Ella is an excellent seamstress working for a terrible woman. She decides to get back out there after a break up in hopes of finding “the one”. Unfortunately, she discovers something that will change everything she thought she knew about her family. With help from a gorgeous man named Kit, maybe they can get everything sorted out.
I loved all of the side stories intertwined into Ella and Kit’s story. With each person’s view, I was looking forward to seeing how the story progressed.
Definitely a sweet romance level of heat. I feel like the romance could have been turned up a notch. I wasn’t really feeling anything when they were progressing in their relationship or taken aback by the zing when their hands touched...
The only thing that made this feel like a romance was that the two heroines found people and there were HEA’s, otherwise it seems more like chick lit or just a basic fiction.
Thank you NetGalley and Avon for the ARC!
An enjoyable weekend read. We follow seamstress Ella's and her two best friends Lucy and Brittany as they approach Brittany's wedding and a number of important changes and events for all. Kit is a fun character as well.
We meet Ella who is a wedding seamstress and is looking for that Mr Right in her life.
A chance meeting one night leads to a whole new chapter within Ella's life.
A strong theme of friendship throughout the book and weddings throughout.
Will Ella finally find someone for her ?
Perfect summer read with a variety of themes throughout.
Awwwww what a story. I'm totally in love with Ella and Kit's story. It is just beautiful. I'm obsessed with a good wedding and a lovely feel good book.
What I loved about this book was that you got to hear about each of Ella's friends, what they were experiencing, their thoughts and feelings. It was like 3 mini books in one.
I love Bella's writing, she is an amazing feel good author. I read and reviewed quite a few of her books and I can't wait to read more.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A delightful romance that tackles a few serious issues, without becoming bogged down. I immediately connected with Ella and loved seeing her blossom and assert herself in a new life. Lucy is a hoot and we all need a friend group like they have with Brittany. The ending isn't too cliché but we get our happily ever after. I love Bella Osborne's books!!
Thank to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.
Despite tackling some hard topics, this is a light easy read for summer. Originally as a 4 parter, now in a full length novel. Well written with some good characters.
I received an ARC of, A Wedding at Sandy Cove, by Bella Osborne. This book had a lot more going on then a wedding. I liked this book.
A wonderful feel good book with some outrageous hilarious laugh out loud moments! I absolutely loved it.
A Wedding at Sandy Cove by Bella Osborne
I received an advance review copy for free thanks to Rachel's Random Resources and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Escape to Sandy Cove, where the scent of summer and the sound of wedding bells is in the air!
Ella is in the business of making brides’ dreams come true with yards of white tulle, delicate lace and sparkly sequins.
But Ella’s own love life couldn’t be further from a fairy tale. Recently dumped by her boyfriend and with her best friend’s wedding only months away, Ella feels more alone than ever so she finally accepts her friends’ offers to set her up on a blind date.
This was originally released as four parts - each of them a joy to read, but I would have much preferred to be able to sit down and read the book as a whole. This is a lovely book about friendships and relationships, as well as following Ella as she grows in confidence. A delightful read that I would highly recommend especially if you are a fan of Bella Osborne.
Rating: 4/5
Ella’s not looking for love but she’s about to find it in the most unusual circumstances. But will the man she has fallen in love with reciprocate her feelings?
Lighthearted and fun, this was an enjoyable and entertaining read.
Hilarious laugh out loud perfect escapism for this summer!!
Another great classic read from Bella Osborne, really enjoyable and brought me many smiles!!!
Ella is talented and gifted in the art of alterations on wedding dresses, but not appreciated. She is also to be a bridesmaid for her friend Brittany alongside her other best friend Lucy. Although the book starts off as a tad predictable in places, we are soon swept off at unexpected tangents!! Loved Lucy as a character more than Ella!!!! No spoilers!
Really enjoyed this pure diversion from life!! Hugely recommended!
Thank you NetGalley for the early opportunity to read!!
A classic chick lit read (although the title is slightly misleading, the wedding is such a small part of the plot)
This heartwarming story is a fresh mix of romance, friendship, love, and family. I really enjoyed this book—it is a light and fun read.
Thank you to Bella Osborne, NetGalley and Avon for the arc of this book.
What a great book, Bella Osborne is a fairly new author to me, but I have not read a bad one and they have all been different styles, a very interesting mix, cant wait for the next one.
A Wedding At Sandy Cove by Bella Osborne is a most delightful contemporary novel that enchanted me from the start.
There are the themes of being yourself, being brave and grabbing your dreams. Too often there are those who want to squash us. The novel shows we need to confront the bullies and not let them put us down.
We all need good friends who support us through life. It is delightful to witness two friends bouncing off each other. Their verbal exchanges are charming.
I loved the reference which Lucy made to Turkish delight which transported me in my mind to the White Witch in The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe.
There are many different relationships within the novel. We learn that we must not interfere in the relationships of others.
We witness different parenting styles. The love we have for our children shines through. They never stop being our children, no matter how old thy get.
The novel is set in Norfolk. We see the devastation on the crumbling Norfolk coast. Bella Osborne has perfectly captured the fear as the tension ramps up.
I loved the inclusion of Pirate, the one-eyed cat. Pets turn a house into a home.
Bella Osborne wrote a really light-hearted fun-filled novel with some serious themes. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I really loved the section at the end that told the reader what the brides were doing now.
A Wedding At Sandy Cove was another fabulous offering from Bella Osborne.
I received a free copy from Net Galley for a blog tour with Rachel’s Random Resources. A favourable review was not required. All opinions are my own.
Super cute. Ella and Kit meet part way through the book and the story is mostly theirs. We hate Ella’s nasty and mean boss, we love the best friends and especially Lucy’s irritating mum. The many brides that Ella sews for feature and along with Ella with love them and get frustrated with them.
