Faith walk challenge
What’s Big Starts Small provides a challenge to look at a well-known parable of Jesus from many different angles and to examine your faith walk. Sin so easily entangles us even as we desire to follow Jesus. Praise God for full forgiveness through Jesus! This book is excellent for personal or group Bible study. I received access on NetGalleyShelf, as well as, a complementary paperback copy from Bethany House. This review is my own opinion.
Pastor Novotny helped me see with new eyes. There is a love of people and a joy in teaching and encouraging others. Many things hit very close to home as pastor dug deep into the meaning of the parable of the sower. Whether you are a long time Christian or recently confirmed, this book will encourage and challenge you.
What’s Big Starts Small is what I call a life changer. After you read it, you’ll want to change your life and you will change your life, at least I did, and I did. I love this author’s writing style. He digs DEEP into scripture and applies it to everyday life with soul-baring honesty and just enough humor to make it a page turner you won’t want to put down. Get reading to have your priorities shook, shuffled and redesigned in the best way possible. This book is a must read for all Christians!
Pastor Mike Novotny once again inspires us with his engaging and relatable style. His latest easy-to-read book offers a wealth of his Biblical knowledge and special personal experience to unpack one of Jesus’ familiar parables. The fresh perspective that Pastor Mike brings to the Sower and the Seed correlates with our modern day foibles and concerns. One of Pastor Mike’s many trademarks is his unique transparency, which lends itself very well to the many issues that this story’s interpretation highlights. Those of us interested in fortifying our relationship with Jesus, will discover a new awareness of our daily distractions, and receive some excellent strategies to overcoming these shortcomings. I highly recommend this
reflection on our need to evaluate and focus our lives more fully on spreading Jesus’ Words and Love to others, for ”What’s Big Starts Small”.
