This toolkit had everything I needed to confidently begin sending in reviews.

I was a little intimidated coming to NetGalley to start my reviews. This toolkit went above and beyond explaining each step and other options. I especially liked the social media tips.

Starting a new endeavor is never easy. Scratch that, It can be at times horrifying. There are always challenges, fears & uncertainties. Using a new platform such as NetGalley gives rise to a lot of Why? How? What? And in today's age, the challenge is not finding information in the first place, of which there is legion. But rather, it's finding the right kind of information.

So, I appreciate the effort that the folks at NetGalley took to compile all the Information which newbies would need to start. Combining it in a simple, concise & aesthetically well presented Toolkit.

I can say with confidence, that I have significantly less amount of Trepidation now after reading the Toolkit, than when I first started.

A particular well known writer, might have been Stephen King, once said, to paraphrase; "To write well, you need to read good books, not so good books, and bad books.' Having written a few hundred reviews on Goodreads, I was looking to cut my teeth on something more. With the compendium of titles which Netgalley offers on their platform, I hope to get to know my share of Good books.

Wish I'd have read this sooner to avoid the typical pitfalls when creating a netgalley account. Found all the tips really straightforward and easy to follow. Being new to NetGalley, this toolkit was informative and a great guide to get started. I found NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit filled with many helpful tips to using NetGalley, writing reviews, using social media sites to share your reviews on. The easy to follow format and colorful pages made this book easy to follow. I would definitely recommend new users of NetGalley to read this book before you get started.
