As a new NetGalley user I found this to be very useful. It was suggested in an email I received that declined me from a title I requested. I understand now that since I had no reviews yet that I need to up my game and read the books available without request to get my account looking better and up to par with what publishers are looking for. I'm excited to get started!

This Toolkit would be useful for those new to reviewing books on Netgalley and those who have been around for a while. I especially found the review tips helpful to see what publishers are looking for across review platforms. There are also etiquette suggestions (when to share publicly about receiving an ARC, when to tag authors, etc.) that should be required reading for those getting into reviewing. I also would recommend this to those trying to grow any book-related social media platforms, because the app-specific advice is very helpful.

Very helpful tool to begin your NetGalley journey, there's a lot of suggestions on how to set up your profile properly and make it more appealing to publishers. There's also sections for the different other platforms you might use to review books (such as instagram, youtube and tiktok). It's very short, but there's also other links inside so you can keep learning!
