Excellent overall reference guide to NetGalley and the many aspects of reviewing. I will also continue to refer back to it to make sure that I’m doing everything possible in order to help not only authors and publishers but also other readers to find their next book.

I am grateful to have found this Book Advocate Toolkit in the middle of my journey on NetGalley. I tend to be a "binge requester" and find that I have more books to read than I know what to do with. This guide helped refocus me, and I've already begun to use a bunch of the tips to get organized and back on track!

The practical reminders at the beginning of the guide, while meant for newbies to NetGalley, were good reminders to me! Reviewing the ground-level expectations helped refocus me on what was most important. However, where this guide really shined for me was in their tips for BookStagram, Canva, and content planning! I'm a mood reader, and a binge requester, and so I can get overwhelemed when I look at my TBR shelves on NetGalley. Reminders to keep it simple, keep a content calendar, and "embrace the flat lay" were great starting points to helping me out!

I'm also SUPER GRATEFUL for the reminders about accessibilty! It feels like a constant battle to access content online when my autistic brain struggles with auditory processing, so knowing NetGalley is reminding all content creators to embrace captions and image descriptions (among other things) was a huge win in my book!

In all, this is a great guide for newbies to NetGalley, as well as those of us who need a refresher! Great job NetGalley!

This is such an amazing tool for people who are just getting into the books & social media community. This guide includes a lot of great tips for how to grow your platform and awesome suggestions for other apps that help with creating content. I definitely would recommend this to people who are new to the community or need a a beginners guide!

Great resource for anyone who wants to help promote books/authors. Lots of information and tools listed - for a newbie or a seasoned pro. The format is also very user friendly and easy to read.

This toolkit was very useful, even for someone who has been actively involved in the social media book world for a few years.

A couple of things I really loved about this guide were the organization and design of things. All the content was organized really well. It was broken down into specific ways to use social media and from there into specific social media channels. It was very easy to follow all the information and tips that were given because of this. The design also lent to the easiness of the guide. While the guide was cute and eye-catching, the design made it to where the eye was easily and smoothly guided through the information provided.

I also really appreciated the links to extra information and research that could be conducted if so desired. It made it to where any book advocate could find more information for the channel they needed extra assistance on without being overwhelmed with too much information on a million channels they didn't use.

Overall, I was very happy with this guide and will be utilizing some of the tips offered, especially those on hashtags!

Nice guide to how to get started or restarted with NetGalley. However, a note about keeping personal and bookish social media might be a nice touch in further editions. I know that I try to keep my personal and bookish social media separate so I can focus on what needs yo be done.

I found the Advocate toolkit to be very helpful. I saved it so that as I continue to write reviews, I could use it as a reference tool to come back to. I think that it is always a good idea to make sure that we are keeping our reviews and the format of our platform fresh and as accurate as we can.

Very useful, particularly liked the tips on using google sheets and canva. As a new book blogger I'm still getting used to social media that was a good refresher course for me. I had my own method for book reviews but I think I'll incorporate some of what I read in this concise and useful book.

Relatively short and to the point! This toolkit is a great basic overview for setting up your NetGalley account and various social media accounts. It provides good advice regarding engagement and activity on various websites and is aesthetically pleasing throughout.

Definitely a must read for anyone new to book reviewing or who wants to check out some new ideas.

This toolkit is great for reviewers new to the community and a great resource for those trying to find their place! I would recommend this be placed somewhere near sign-up or become the first book available in a reader's account. As someone who's been in the community for a couple of years and has platforms established, it wasn't overall helpful, but I found some tips (especially for review block) that I'll be taking with me for the future.
