What a great PDF! Even though I've been on NetGalley 2 years now, this was still a great refresher. And for new users, this is the perfect starting guide to help you understand the platform and suggests great tips and tricks on how to improve your profile and get the most out of your account.

This was incredibly helpful! I've struggled for months on what to include in my NetGalley bio. I've read random tips online to use it like a resume for publishers, but had no idea how to develop a bookish resume. This toolkit and all of the inserted links helped me put together a profile that I think finally gives publishers the type of information they're looking for. I also loved that it includes tips for sharing reviews across multiple social media platforms, and apps that can be used for editing photos and videos relating to book reviews. I wish I had come across this book sooner!

This was a very helpful guide for getting started with NetGalley. I can also see it coming in handy in the future when I need a refresher on writing reviews.

I requested this book in hopes of getting advice on setting up a profile. I didn't really feel like there was a lot of info on this topic. There were a lot of tasks about how to keep your profile ratio high, and there was also repeating information.

This would def be good for someone starting out but I have been with Netgalley since 2011 and there really wasn't much to benefit someone like me.

This toolkit was really helpful as a newbie in the world of requesting books. The toolkit provides a lot of tips on how to up your chances in receiving a requested book and how best to reach as many people as possible with your reviews. I have held my Goodreads account for years but have never mastered the art of providing quality reviews and successfully networking but thanks to this toolkit, I feel much more confident and am super excited to start this journey!

I found this to be quite informative and helpful. Definitely a lot of tips and tricks I'll keep in mind in the future.

This book is actually really helpful. To be honest, I am horrible HORRIBLE at sending reviews. I never knew what to type. I always felt like i typed too less but this book really helped me. If you’re planning to be a “professional” at book blogging. You should read this atleast once.

I really enjoyed reading this NetGalley toolkit.

It was very helpful and included a lot of useful information, including:
- tips for requesting NetGalley books and keeping your feedback ratio high
- creating book reviews for various formats (e.g., blog, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
- social media tips and strategies

I particularly enjoyed the strategizing and accessibility sections! There were a couple of formatting issues I found, such as deleting extra spaces, but overall I really liked the format of the toolkit.

I recommend this to anyone just starting out on NetGalley or who is looking to improve their experience on this platform.

This guide gives helpful advice for all types of reviewers, whether you want to focus on a particular format or are looking for guidance in how to format your reviews. I would suggest anyone reading this before starting your NetGalley journey.

This was a helpful resource, especially when it discussed different review tips. I wish I'd found this book at the very start of my NetGalley journey, but better late than never, right? If you are just starting on here and haven't read it yet, I highly recommend looking through it before making any requests!

I appreciated how detailed it was when discussing different review formats, as well as how it broke down what each type was, how to achieve that specific style, and how readers might react to each one. It was also neat that they provided a content planning section to help people get started on their content creation journey. It was also refreshing to see that they emphasized enjoying what you produce instead of just focusing on what's performing well. Always a great tip to keep in mind when dealing with social media.

The hashtag tips were also insightful, and I hadn't heard most of them before reading this. I will say that some of the font throughout the toolkit was hard to read...I knew what they were trying to write, but it was still difficult to see. This was particularly true on the hashtag tips pages: "Twitter Tips" "Booktok Tips."

It was also neat that the toolkit broke down each popular social media channel and gave descriptions for each one. This will help people just starting out to easily determine what niche they want to be apart of if they haven't already decided before joining NetGalley.

This is a basic but handy guide on using NetGalley, writing reviews, and publicizing books. I wish the links had been set to open in a new tab—the PDF is difficult to use in a browser, and I couldn’t get the links to work at all in the Kindle app. Also, I wish the guide had included more tips on building audience engagement. Overall, the guide is good for beginners but of limited use for more advanced users.

I found this extremely helpful for someone who is constantly trying to improve their NetGalley profile like myself and get the most out of their account. There are countless tips not only for NetGalley, but also other social media/review sites. The layout is clear, concise, and pleasing to read. I am very thankful for this document!
