So helpful! Everything I was looking for to get started/keep improving my reviews and platforms is laid out here in this helpful doc. I especially appreciated the tips for accessibility in posts!

This was really helpful to get me started on NetGalley. Now I know my way around and am enjoying it. I couldn't have chosen any other guide to help me.

I really enjoyed this “get started” guide for posting on NetGalley! I appreciate the tip to not go on a requesting spree because I can see how it would be easy to get overwhelmed!
This should be a suggested book when opening NetGalley!

This was actually incredibly helpful, even for someone who has been on Netgalley awhile. Highly recommend!!

Great tips for new NetGalley users especially! If you're looking for information on a platform you're not already using, grab this toolkit and get started.

Great guide for new members of NetGalley including best practices for setting up your account, writing successful reviews, and sharing reviews on social media. I'm sure it's a resource I'll reach for many times.

I snagged the toolkit after a slew of declined request. It kind of hurt a bit and knew I had to be doing something wrong. This was super helpful I think and I hope to do better going forward.

This is a very helpful guide for new NetGalley users. I wanted to print it off and mark it up! Instead, I took detailed notes by hand so I could absorb the information completely. It is incredibly useful and provides generous explanations regarding several NetGalley elements like the Feedback Ratio, writing book reviews and platforms to use as “bookish social media”. I appreciate resources like this, especially any geared toward the bookish community. This one was comprehensive and answered several questions I had when I first opened my NetGalley account as well as questions I had after I had been a member for while.

A very helpful toolkit to getting started with NetGalley. Definitely take the time to read this. I have found myself referring to this multiple times when reviewing.

If you are new to reviewing books or want to improving your writing, this is a great resource for you. It is chock full of information on how to write book reviews, how to write blogs, and the do's and don'ts of social media. Thank you NetGalley and the author for providing a free electronic copy of this book for my honest review. Am incredibly grateful.

We Are Bookish is a thorough and useful toolkit! I will definitely keep it on hand to refer to when needed a nudge in my reviews. Thank you NetGalley!

This is a great guide for those who want to expand their book advocacy journey!
I loved the format and the tap-on links to go in more depth.
There are many helpful tips of writing book reviews and improving your status on NetGalley.
What I most enjoyed was the clear and concise explanations of all the social media platforms out there. As someone with pretty simplistic computer skills who is a total introvert, I found this section most inspiring.
This guide will really excite readers to share their book opinions.

Book advocate toolkit?
Yes, please!
The Book Advocate Toolkit was a quick read, both clear and concise enough not to make it troublesome to get through. In fact, it had a lot of information that I found really interesting and helpful. Honestly, I think I'll probably come back to it often just for reference as I get further and further into the Netgalley wormhole.
5/5

As a new member, this toolkit by NetGalley and We are Bookish is extremely useful.
A very useful aspect is a look at social media platforms and how to layout your review based on those platforms, for example images and hashtags on Instagram and short live reactions to current reads on Twitter.
Not only are the contents incredibly informative, but the layout and content breakdown makes it very easy to use and will be a great reference as I continue my NetGalley journey.

I am a long time reader but fairly new to many forms of book related social media. I have been in a ton of book related Facebook groups for years but I only recently joined Instagram and TikTok and discovered the book communities on Twitter and YouTube. This was such a great resource for someone like me to get an overview of how all these spaces are used by readers. I enjoyed reading it and learned some super useful tips.
