This has very useful information about NetGalley and reviewing in general. It looks very appealing and the writing is simple and captivating. A very good tool for all NetGalley users. Thank you
Great information, thank you! Its helpful to know exactly what NetGalley and publishers are looking for in reviews and feedback!
I am so glad the netgalley instagram account shared about this resource! I am newer to netgalley and this document gave me some great tips on how to manage my netgalley account, have a high review ratio,
This contained very useful information. I have been reviewing and blogging for awhile now and this was a nice reminder of the way to do it the most effective way. The way the information was laid out made it enjoyable to get through.
This is so helpful! A great tool for new Netgalley folks or us old timers!
I liked how it's broken down into categories with a wealth of information that helps with everything from reviews to social media to hashtags to use!
I really like format the information is presented in. The tips are concise and helpful, just what I needed.
NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is a fun, breezy guide to getting started with ARC reviewing. Packed with helpful tips for bloggers, bookstagrammers, and BookTubers, as well as bite-sized overviews of how various social media sites can be used to draw attention to new books and your book reviews, the Toolkit is a handy guide for those just getting their toes wet as a new reviewer.
Seasoned pros might get a few helpful reminders out of the Toolkit, too, with some brief tips on planning and growing in terms of both content and followers, but also streamlining their online presence and keeping their review ratio high. The latter is a problem I consistently struggle with thanks to going on a big, ol' request spree in my early days on NetGalley, and I wish I'd had this kind of guide way back when, especially since I'm still digging myself out of that deep, deep hole years later...
At only 30 pages, this file is packed with plenty of useful dos and don'ts, advice on tagging and hashtagging, and staging bookish pics for online posting. I was surprised at the breadth of topics covered here, but each is covered in a quick, punchy overview rather than an in-depth exploration - just enough to get you started!
This is a great guide on how to use NetGalley efficiently and get the most out of it. There are tips on how to write your profile, the all-important feedback ratio, and how to branch out to social media. If you've been using NetGalley for awhile, most of this you've already done so it's not as helpful. There were a few things that helped, particularly the Intro to Canva. This is highly recommended for someone just starting out on NetGalley but not sure how they would get it unless they already had an account.
Thank you NetGalley for such a helpful reference guide! I will definitely be using this over and over again! I found this guide to be helpful for a new reviewer and also for seasoned reviewers. Often times user guides are bogged down with a lot of material that can be overwhelming and make you want to stop reading after the first page. This was not that! Information shared is clear, concise, and applicable for every NetGalley Member! I like that there is a section dedicated to crafting the perfect review and different ways to share those reviews on social media. Thank you for this helpful information!
Very helpful and informative and useful. Thank you, Netgalley, for the tips! I will be using this more often to refer back to.
Very helpful and informative and useful. Thank you, Netgalley for the tips, will use them going forward.
This was a great little, quick read on getting to grips with NetGalley. How to keep a good feedback ratio, some great tips and information on starting a Booktube, Booktok and Bookstagram (I have a booksta account so I really paid attention to the bits that were relevant to me).
I’ve been a member of NetGalley for several years now, and on Bookstagram for longer so I’d already picked up a fair few tips and tricks, but this book still held value for me. It’s great for the seasoned reader and booksta and also for those new to it.
It has a great layout. Very accessible and easy to read. It was written well and would be perfect for beginners as it’s so well laid out and everything explained. It can also be easily read in one sitting and is great for all Netgalley users. Should be a recommend read for everyone with an account!
Super helpful tips, whether you're just getting started or need some reminders. More than just getting around on NetGalley - all kinds of information included on setting up your profile, writing reviews, and all the different platforms to share your reviews outside of NetGalley.
Thank you, Net Galley! This is a great tool to have. Very informative. I have printed this, and I plan on following it to the letter.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing an eARC of this title in exchange for my honest review.
This was a very helpful guide with tips on how to use NetGalley and review books across all popular platforms that has accessible and widely applicable advice for beginners and long-time reviewers. Highly recommend.
This was informative and helpful to read and a refresher that we may forget after awhile. It breaks it down on how to set up the social media accounts and what to do from there. Also gives ideas on content to post to social media and the use of hashtags. Also touched on vlogging and blogging, this was packed with lots of info
Impressive! Concise! Easy to Use! NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit is a resource for both new and well-seasoned reviewers. I found several tips I will use. I like the links for additional information. This resource can be easily updated. Thank you We Are Bookish for doing this.
Helpful tips on reviewing books and what publishers are looking for, thank you! The guide was colorful and easy to look at, which was a plus.
This was a very helpful guide filled with tips for reviewing books on multiple platforms. Since I have a Bookstagram and a (newly created) Booktok, I used those sections the most, and they were very helpful! I will continue to refer to this manual in the future for tips and tricks.
This was amazing and very informative!! There were things I have been missing in my bio and this helped a ton! Thank you!
