I really enjoyed this guide! As a still fairly new Bookstagrammer and book reviewer, it was very helpful in reshaping how I go about reviewing books and posting on social media. I really appreciated the tips for each social media platform!

I will definitely keep this toolkit handy as I continue my journey as a Bookstagrammer so that I can refer back to it as often as I need.

Wow! I stumbled on this toolkit but didn't read it right away! I discovered that It is the perfect handbook for navigating the ins and outs of NetGalley. Loved the page designs and the number of topics covered.

The Book Advocate Toolkit is loaded with how to information NetGalley Tips range from how to request books and your Feedback Ratio. Immediately after reading it added my profile picture and checked out my Feedback Ratio!

The second set of topics deal will writing reviews and after reading the tips, I realized that I need to improve mine by including my personality in them. I was a librarian and wrote my district reviews with a more professional voice. In Netgalley, I can be my retired self and have fun with my reviews.

The Toolkit has an extensive section dedicated to Social Media Platform and how to set yourself up on the
various platforms. I not there yet but if I do decide to delve into that world, I be using the Toolkit as a guide.

The last set of topics deal Strategizing by encouraging reviewers to plan their content and using Hashtags!
Very useful information for those of us new to NetGalley, and those who want to step up their reviews.
It's a great Toolkit and a resource that I will use as a reference as I carry on reading and reviewing books!

This NetGalley Book Advocate Toolkit is a great resource for new and existing members alike. I've been in the reading, writing, reviewing world for a while but wasn't as sure footed as I wanted to be while giving reviews. This guide gives concise, specific information about social platforms, websites, and everything in between. I appreciate that this kit is laid out cleanly but is also engaging. Even after the first quick read-through, I was able to pick up tips that I could use immediately to level up my reviewing on NetGalley and on my own personal platforms. At this time, I have no critical comments because I felt like I still could go back and read it three times over and gain something new each time.

This is a great reference for NetGalley users. Even if you have been reviewing books on Netgalley for a while there are good tips to be a better reviewer. And promoting the reviews found the tips on using different social media particularly helpful. I am excited to begin using thes tools to be a better book advocate.

This has good tips and tricks when first starting out. My one critique would be to include links or site links when giving information that can be expanded on. For example, the guide talks about book publishers preferences and it would be nice to state where to find those.

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is exactly what the title says it is: a useful, comprehensive guide on how to get started as a book advocate on NetGalley.

The first thing I noticed when browsing through this book is its design. Far from being bland and boring like a lot of manuals are, this toolkit is colorful and visual, which makes it far more pleasant to read. Its content is informational and on point to get started, and I really appreciated how inclusive it was. Not only does it cover various ways to review books and various platforms to do it on (although I would have appreciated it if Goodreads were a little more included), its authors were also mindful of disabled readers when they wrote it by making sure to give advice on how to include them and make reviews accessible to all instead of forgetting they exist.

Overall, I found this book very helpful and informational. It is perfect for those getting started on NetGalley, and even more for those who are new to the book-reviewing world as a whole. Even if you are a senior reviewer, I would recommend it if you are new to NetGalley, as it never hurts to make sure you have all the tips to make the most of your experience!

I think this toolkit does exactly what it intends to do. It gives good instructions on how to do book reviews ON Netgalley. Anyone with a problem with this toolkit that provides thoughtful and detailed advice for Netgalley arc books needs to reread the title. It specifically says its FOR Netgalley not anywhere else. I don't understand why this would even be put down or criticized. So thank you Netgalley for your helpful advice.
