5/5 for usefulness and great for anyone looking to improve their NetGalley experience.
Being new to NetGalley I was so glad to read NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit. It’s a great manual for those just starting out on NetGalley like me, or for those who would like a refresher course. It’s short and easy to read with simple visuals in a pleasing format. I found the info on how to blend what I’m reading and reviewing with my social media accounts helpful. The ability to click the links for more information on any of the subjects covered was especially useful. You can choose what you’d like to read more about without having to scroll through lots of information you’d rather pass by. I would definitely recommend this for any NetGalley “newbies” like me! Thanks NewGalley for this tool kit!

This was very informative and helpful; thank you! The layout was very attractive and interesting, which did not feel boring. Well done!
Super helpful, up to date and very detailed. Covers everything I could possibly think of, and a great guidance on general idea of what to do and not to do including visual support which made it better explanatory and easier to follow. Thank you!
A short but useful document with useful guidance and clear headings that aid navigation. It’s helpful to read NetGalley’s view on how to be a “book advocate”.
Very helpful guide. Now going to head off to my bookstagram and Goodreads to try and update my profiles and start moving my reviewer journey onto the next level
Such a helpful guide for both beginner and more experienced book reviewers! There are tips, tricks, and to-dos for utilizing many of the major social media platforms to grow your book-reviewing space.
This Book Advocate Toolkit has become a necessity while I undergo my Bookstagram/BookTok journey! It has provided so much advice in terms of social media, book reviews, and book blogging.
This was a helpful guide, it gave great pointers and tips to help you across all platforms. It was easy to read and understand. I liked the “Do’s and Don’ts” of each section.
Thank you for this helpful guide on reviewing books and building a platform. I plan to revisit this for the many helpful tips and tricks. Give this a read if you're new to Netgalley, or are planning to start any social media book reviewing profiles!
This is the first review I write for NetGalley. This book contains tips for making a good use of the platform, writing good reviews, getting your requests approved... I've found it really helpful, because at first I was a little lost regarding the use of NetGalley. After reading this I have everything much clearer, so I highly recommend this for new users!
This was an incredibly helpful guide and I plan to reference it throughout my journey to become a better, more experienced reviewer. I like that it had guides for each social media platform as well.
This was lovely. A great tool for whoever wants to talk about books. I will definitely refer back to it often!
I 100% recommend reading this if you are new to reviewing books. It gave great advice on how to be more appealing to publishers as well as advice on posting on social media.
Not only was this toolkit very helpful for requesting e-arcs and creating bookish content on multiple platforms, it also got me really excited to start my book advocate journey! If you are an arc reader, have a Bookstagram, BookTok, or Goodreads account, this is a must read! The information is clear, succinct, and relevant. I highly recommend this resource to anyone who wants to become a book advocate and/or book blogger.
This is such a great toolkit for getting started with Netgalley. I was reviewing books pretty regularly and then I stopped and recently started again. I really wish I would have read this again before I started requesting book. It was really easy to see that I got over eager and requested books that I probably would have gotten declined for or that didn't really have a good timeframe for review. There are great tips on writing reviews, promoting social media, and blogging. If you're just getting started or getting back into reviewing ARCs this is a great way to learn how to get started with NetGalley.
This book is a helpful tool for those just getting started on NetGalley. It would be helpful if this book was recommended/provided immediately to NetGalley members when they sign up not located later in the tips section.
