This is a great introduction on how to get started on netgalley and bookish social media channels and write reviews. I liked that it included links to read more in depth about different topics. My only critique is that I wish I had known about this sooner! It would have been even more helpful when I was new to the platform.

Useful information for those just starting out and those already in the game.

Covers most of the basics in plain English for a multitude of platforms so it is easy to understand.

I do think more emphasis needs to be placed on reading the acceptance email and acknowledging NetGalley and the publisher.

A short, informative walk through how to use NetGalley, "NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit" aims to walk members new and old through how to make the most of the various tools at their disposal. As a new bookstagrammer, I great appreciated the section on social media. I found the toolkit easy to follow and full of useful tips and tricks. I can't wait to see how I can positively impact publishers, authors, and my fellow readers by utilizing these tools.

As a novice NetGalley reviewer, I really appreciated the information in the Book Advocate's Toolkit. Wow, this little guy really packs a punch. I’ve been on NetGalley for a while now, but I hadn’t read this book yet, and it shows. I learned so much about how to (properly) set up my social media presence, how to review books in a more efficient (and effective) way, how to make sure my reviews will reach my target audience, and so much more. It has the perfect balance of information and links for further study. I’m so glad I finally got around to reading it, and I saved every single linked webpage to a central bookmark folder on my phone for further study. I highly recommend that every NetGalley member devour this handy little guide. Thanks, NetGalley! You guys rock for sure!

This book had some excellent tips about how to get the most out of your NetGalley experience. I am so appreciative of the opportunity to read ARCs for free (it almost seems too good to be true), and I want to make sure I do everything I can to support the books I read, while at the same time giving honest and useful feedback.
