My expectations were exceeded in this how to manual for book reviewers. Little did I realize that all the questions I had asked Google about how to review childrens' books and how I could use another reviewer's words or thoughts were all wrapped up in a tidy little book. The Toolkit is deceivingly short at 32 pages mentioned as the it's length. Each page includes several links to more essential information that will help me inspire more people to read more books. I really enjoyed this toolkit as I'm fairly new to bookstagram, and still working on getting everything organized/up and running. I think it's awesome that NetGalley put together a guide to help readers get started on social media. As a writer myself, I feel reviews are pretty easy for me, but it was the social media and strategizing sections were very helpful. While I have experience with social media through my full-time gig, it is still a whole new world to me given there are so many intricacies and do/don't rules. I think NetGalley's toolkit is a great jumping off point for those getting started on bookstagram or another social media platform as it gives you little nuggets of information to expand upon as you see fit. I highly suggest taking time to explore this whether you're new or seasoned in the booksta world! Thanks, NetGalley!

While I've been writing reviews for the last two years, this Toolkit gave me concrete tips on how to properly form a review. This toolkit also includes tips on the approval process. Overall, it is a great introduction to NetGalley.

I was reminded of the importance of sharing content warnings; this is especially important as I tend to share my reviews with a queer audience. With that, I love the focus on accessibility in the Toolkit.
