This was really helpful for me as I started my NetGalley journey! One thing I wish was included was how to prioritize reading when you have books from various publishing dates, and the approval doesn't give an expected timeline. In my first few requests, I had some that were older books, some that had just been published, and some that are a few weeks out. How does one pick when there isn't direction from the publisher?

I decided to go with recent pubs 1st, then whichever was coming out or came out closest to that day's date, but I'm still wondering if that was the best choice.

As someone who is new to the reviewing field, I found this guide extremely helpful. I am envious of all the bookstagram accounts because I never know where to start. I think if I sat down and went step-by-step with this guide, I would be able to set up something. This is a great resource and I hope to see more of these guides in the future.

I downloaded this guide to get a refresher on all things ARC and netgalley. It was filled with a bunch of advice helpful for all netgalley readers.

The graphics were cute and engaging. I especially appreciated the links to more information. The use of graphics and links kept this from being too wordy and I was able to go right to the area I found most interesting.

I’m sure that I will refer back to this useful tool. And I will certainly aim to keep my ratio at 80% or above!!

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is a great resource for people who are starting out and want to make the most of using NetGalley.

My top takeaway was not requesting too many books. I know that I'm on NetGalley because of my love of reading, so the temptation to request lots of titles is real. It's also important to keep your feedback ratio high (this connects with book requests).

Use your social media to post reviews and pay attention to the publication dates. You want to offer positive and constructive feedback about the books you read, and always thank NetGalley and the publisher.

I was trying to come to grips with how to work netgalley, with what to do and what not to do. More specifically with feedback and how in depth we need to be without spoiling the book. This little guide is fantastic if you're just starting out and trying to figure out how to work netgalley.

A must-read for those new to NetGalley. Lots of great information and tips in a graphic format that’s easy to flip through. This is something I’m sure I’ll refer to frequently.
