The NetGalley Book Advocate ToolKit is a great resource for beginners using Netgalley. In addition to guidance with reviews for NetGalley, it also offers tips for other social media outlets. I found the Instagram tips to be particularly useful. I appreciated the additional hyperlinks for articles with more information on the topic. I have bookmarked several of those links. I believe this will be a great tool for anyone starting out but al will be a good refresher tool for anyone who might need to "shake" things up on their platforms.

This is a very helpful tool for reviewers to follow when using NetGalley. I certainly picked up a few tips from reviewing this toolkit, such as ways to frame my reviews, different platforms to use, and what not to do when writing a review. All good tips and pointers to help any reviewer become better at what they do.

Short and sweet guide to requesting and reviewing books with NetGalley. I was impressed by how the platform-specific tips for increasing engagement on so many different kinds social media. The colorful graphics and page layout made the information legible at a glance and easy to come back and reference later. I’d highly recommend for new reviewers, or more experienced ones looking to grow their audience online.

This is fantastic! I joined NetGalley many years ago without really knowing what I was doing. Over the years I've learned a few things, but this is such useful information. It's going to help me get the most out of NetGalley and be a better reviewer.

Even though I've been reviewing books on NetGalley for just over a year, I have recently become more active and consistent with reviewing and posting on my bookstagram account so this was the perfect read to touch up on how I can improve my reviews. I honestly wish I read this when I first started with NetGalley because there was some super handy tips. Highly recommend for new reviewers!

Fantastic, very practical advice for readers using NetGalley for advanced reader copies. Everything you need to know, regardless of where you review the books (Facebook, Instagram, Blogs, YouTube, TicTok, etc.). Helpful hints on: how to create your profile, how to request books, what to include in your review, and much more! I would highly recommend this for anyone who is getting started with NetGalley.

This was a lifesaver for a newbie. Everyone new to NetGalley should give this a read and take notes if they want to get started and succeed in the Book-verse. Truly great.

As someone who has had the chance to read and review a few books on Netgalley but is still relatively new to it all, I found this guide very useful particularly the sections on the weekly checklist email, social media content planning tips, and advice on the information to include in a Netgalley profile (and the importance of updating this regularly!). I was also unaware that it is not considered best practice to include quotes in reviews which is something I had been doing up to this point and will change when writing reviews in the future.
