Excellent for tips and tricks for gaining more of an audience for your book reviews. There are definitely things that I will be referring back to from to time.
A good guide for getting started in the Netgalley community and writing reviews that other readers can relate to while providing feedback for authors and/or publishers. All new members of Netgalley need this book advocate toolkit! 📚😉
I found this guide really useful and full of tips. Thank you netgalley for providing it. I was really unsure on what i was to put but this had lots of helping tips for that.
Thank you Netgalley for providing this educational tool. What would I do without it? I would probably ramble.
This toolkit has proven to be essential in my early beginnings as a reviewer. It has helped me tremendously in both starting my reviews as well as focusing them. It is both informational as well as concise. It was a lifesaver when I found myself suffering from a case of writer’s block, or is the term reviewer’s block. Nonetheless, none-the-less, I got through it. I do believe I will use it for future use. I will probably even use it on work projects. We will just see how that goes.
This toolkit gave me so much to think about. Great tips! I liked that each social media site was broken down into specific information.

This toolkit was a great thing to have as a new reviewer. It helped me with tips on posting to my socials and made me decide to start a book twitter. It was very clear and visually appealing. I recommend new reviewers look at this pamphlet.
A guide that every NetGalley reviewer should consider reading at least once, and always have it handy for future references. Very helpful.
A nice tutorial for writing book reviews. It's incredibly useful, yet the font and graphic style make it quite difficult to read.

Easy to read and to the point I am grateful to have this as a resource. It has been extremely helpful for me since I am new to NetGalley.
New to NetGalley and this toolkit was super helpful! I loved that they provided tips for other platforms as well.
I'm so glad to have found NetGalley (I mean, who doesn't like free advance books from your favorite authors or in your favorite genres?)
I also really enjoy all of the tips and information that come in the We Are Bookish emails--they give actionable ideas and recommendations to keep book reviewers and bloggers relevant and popular.
This Book Advocate Toolkit brings together many of those tips into one handy easy-access pamphlet which is a great place for those new to NetGalley to start, but also can be a helpful reminder/refresh for those that have been using NetGalley for awhile.
My only complaint is that I printed it out to read on the plane and it doesn't seem to be printer-friendly:
1) there aren't page numbers, even though there are statements that say things like "see page 25"
2) there are several embedded links to "learn more"
Those certainly don't negate the usefulness of the kit, so it's definitely one I would still recommend and plan on returning to often!
Even though I’ve been reviewing for Netgalley for awhile, this toolkit was a great refresher on options for sharing reviews. I loved the variety of social media tools discussed and the simple guidelines offered for getting started. I felt the length was perfect and the way the book was written was easily accessible to all. I think all reviewers who are looking for more places to share their reviews could benefit from this toolkit, but it is most helpful for those getting started at Netgalley.
This “toolkit” is tremendously useful to me, a new NetGalley member. I’ve been reviewing books on Goodreads and Amazon for years but once I decided to join NetGalley, I knew I’d have to step up my game if I wanted publishers to approve me as a reviewer. It’s a short (32 page) book but has lots of embedded links to helpful information - dos and don’ts, time management, different social media platforms for reviewers, how to manage your personal profile - enough information to get you excited about getting started but not so much as to be overwhelming. Thank you NetGalley!
Great little guide to writing reviews! This will be helpful in the future when structuring book reviews.
This was very helpful for this NetGalley newbie! I will be taking some of the tips into consideration and updating my profile. Thank you Netgalley!
I found the toolkit easy to use and relevant. The inclusion of links to more information is definitely a bonus. It is easy to find specific topics and I will refer back to the toolkit often. I love the fun style presentation as little jottings.
A great collection of tips. This is a great resource for people wanting to try out new platforms. I learned some great tips from this guide.
A great guide. I can’t really complain about the content. Easy simple to follow with lots of handy tips.
