NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is a great (re)introduction as to how the site works. This short little pamphlet tells you how to request books, build your profile, write reviews, reach audiences, and much more. I have been on NetGalley for a little over a year, on and off again. In deciding to come back and be more active, I looked to this Toolkit and I could not be more thankful for it. I feel much more ready to partake in NetGalley's system, as well as reviewing new and upcoming books.

In this toolkit, NetGalley provides tips for posting successful book reviews across platforms and for building a consistent follower base and community. I found the tips very helpful and will be using them. I would have appreciated if there was also some tips about posting reviews of audiobooks on a platform that requires pictures, such as Instagram. However, this was very helpful and I would recommend to anyone who writes book reviews!

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit creates a map for the user of the platform. It provided me with a map of the site to help me navigate through it. The graphics were quite useful, and the contents were uncomplicated. The hyperlinks were also very helpful to me as I switched through the different ones. I noticed nothing I did not like about the book. The book summarizes the efficacy of the website and promotes itself as a sturdy reference for me, since I am not computer savvy.
I recommend all newcomers to NetGalley to rely on this book.
