Great book that gives a clear oversight of what is expected of you and what is needed for your journey. It is very accessible, and easy to tailor to your own needs. I will be using this book more often!

Thank you NetGalley for setting up this how to guide. The visual aid is spot on and will help new reviewers and possibly give some refreshers for the seasoned reviewers. This was full of helpful tips and tricks for setting up a profile as well as getting started and maintaining a successful social media account. As a new NetGalley reviewer this was incredibly helpful and a great tool to look back on.

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is full of helpful tips for getting started with NetGalley and reviewing books on various social media sites and blogs. Great for beginners, and I will definitely utilize these ideas on my own blog!

I found this to be a well thought out and helpful guide to getting started with reviews and NetGalley in general. I’ve already done reviews prior to reading this, however, it’s been helpful in refining my process. It also provided tips that I hadn’t thought of, for instance, using fonts in terms of accessibility. This will be highly useful for anyone getting started in the book reviewing realm.

Useful schematic overview with a lot of do's and don't's, especially for new members.

As a Netgalley member who has already reviewed 10+ books here (I know this isn't that much yet, but it means I'm already accustomed to the system), there wasn't any new information in this toolkit for me. The specific question I had in mind when consulting this book wasn't answered, but the toolkit did provide a few useful links to the Netgalley blog. So I'll definitely check out the blog more often from now on.

I would definitely recommend this short toolkit for everyone who is new to Netgalley and wants to get to know how it works (plus reading and reviewing this toolkit also adds to your ratio, so it's a win-win). I enjoyed reading this and learning tips and tricks to navigate through Netgalley. Although I’m not new to Netgalley, I did fall victim to the request spree and I’m working my way out of that.

I especially enjoyed the lesson on how to write a good bio. I immediately tweaked mine after that so that was helpful.
Another thing I enjoyed were the Canva lessons in regards to placing a book cover on an e reader. I’ve struggled with this before and the instructions provided helped me.

Excellent study guide to setting up your account on NetGalley. Do NOT skip this step and read ALL of it to the end. It is very detailed and sets you up for success in interacting with publishers, reviewing books, and crafting your profile.
