Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I loved reading this book.

We meet up with Hollie and Jake and their friends at the Starfish Cafe as well as the RNLI crew.

New characters Tori and Finley(known as Bart) are introduced and we learn more about their past and present lives. The story shows how the community, friends and colleagues come together in times of need.

It was also lovely to meet the owners of businesses on Castle Street again. I loved the little starfish on each chapters beginning, a lovely touch to the story.

You also see the start of the book, the list of characters in the story, so you knew who each one was from the previous book.

Cannot wait for the next book.

Lovely to be back with Hollie, Jake and Pickle the dog at the Starfish Cafe again.
We meet Tori who has just come out of a bad relationship but ends up becoming involved with the Star fish café renovation after a nasty encounter with someone who won't take no for an answer when Holly tells him it isn't for sale so gets some thugs to smash it up
Another brilliant book can't wait for the next one

Having read and fell in love the first book in this series I couldn't wait to read book 2. I've read quite a few books by this author and she always delivers. Based around romance, friendship, dysfunctional families and secrets. Great cast of characters and quite emotional at time but always uplifting. Loved catching up with Hollie and Jake and Pickle and meeting some new friends alomg the way.

I've loved this series so far and this book is no exception!. We follow the lives of Hollie and Jake as they continue their lives together, we meet Tori and see how she makes a great friend in Finley as they both steer through big changes in their lives. We also meet a very slippery Sebastian Smythe who is just like his nickname describes!!. All these people meet big bumps in the road of life and we go along with them as they navigate through good times and bad. You will need a box of tissues and you will be invested in this story straight away so tears will definitely be on the cards!!. I love this book and you will too!!.
Many thanks to Netgalley for the free ARC book for an honest review.

How lovely to be reunited with familiar favourites Hollie , Jake and Pickle at the Starfish cafe.

It was great to see relationships develop and getting to know them more.

Tori has a chance meeting with Hollie and leads to so much more for them both. Enjoyed learning more about Tori's story and watching her friendship develop with Finley.

Lovely to be back once again in Whitsborough Bay.

A charming story of family, love and all the complicated in between. Though I hadn’t read any previous titles, I didn’t have any trouble enjoying the story. I think you might get some of the backstory of the main characters having read the previous book, but I didn’t find it necessary. I will, however, likely go back and read it at some point.
Hollie and Jake and Pickles the dog were such a lovely couple to get to know. They have both been through a lot and it has made them both stronger for it. But the characters that I liked best were Tori and Finlay. They’ve both come out of bad relationships and aren’t looking for anything new right now, so naturally, they find exactly what they’re looking for in the other. They take it slowly so as not to get hurt again, neither of them wanting to take the first step for fear of the repercussions, but once it happens, it made my heart happy. There was some family dynamics backstory that helped show why she was the way that she was, but that things aren’t always black and white with family.
“Sometimes when things appear to be falling apart, they may actually be falling into place.”
Thanks to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for this eArc in exchange for my review.

This was a heartwarming read and I thoroughly enjoyed the RNLI and lifesaving parts especially. While there were two main characters, following them across chapters was seamless and enjoyable. I have not picked up the first book in the series but was still very invested in the characters.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this advanced copy.

Beautiful return to the Starfish Cafè: Jessica Redland did it again.
Another great, heartwarming read. Just curl up on the sofa with a hot chocolate and enjoy. Pure bliss!
I'm already on the lookout for book number 3.

Unfortunately there was so much going on in this story I could not fully enjoy it.
It felt like 3 books all mashed together.

Spring Tides at The Starfish Cafe is another great read from Jessica Redland. This is the second book in the series but could easily be read as a standalone although I would recommend reading the first as it was also fantastic.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for my ARC.

Wonderful read! This book hooks you on the first page and doesn't let go. It's a fun yet emotional read with a cast of wonderful characters and beautiful setting. The author makes you feel like you are there. Loved it and look forward to the next book in this series.

Absolutely brilliant, I couldn’t put it down. This by far the best series from Jessica Redland. Although this is the second book in the series it can be read alone but it is definitely beneficial if you have read the first. Can’t wait for the third instalment.

A delightful visit to the starfish café. I was thrilled to see we would visit the café once again and see what Jessica Redland had in store for owner Hollie.
The community drew me straight back in and I loved the familiar feel of the characters as their personalities and stories came back to me. These books have a fantastic feeling of belonging that really draw you in and wrap you up. Alongside the gorgeous setting and the descriptions of the wildlife on the Yorkshire coast, I really feel that it is the characters that make these books.
I loved that this time we were introduced to new characters, so had two stories running alongside each other. This made it truly difficult to put the book down as there was plenty going on to keep you turning pages.
The lifeboat and crew really are special in these books, and I love hearing of the stories and reasons behind each of the people working together. They make these books feel so, so real.
I really hope there will be another instalment in the starfish cafe series, I would devour it just as I have done so with the rest. It’s the prefect feelgood book, it truly feels like you’re sitting down with an old friend for a good catch up, with an exciting plot thrown in!
Thank you to Netgalley, Jessica Redland and Boldwood books for the copy, I loved every word!

My first book by this author and the second book in the Starfish Café series and can be read as a standalone. Hollie is loved up with Jake and Pickle the dog. They are settling into their new life, with the Starfish café to run and RNLI volunteering. But then a visitor arrives to threaten the café and its future and Hollie wants to protect her families legacy. This story incorporates relationships that are aligned and those that aren’t. How you can realize that even if things have been good, that can change. Facing up to difficulties, listening to each other, supporting and trusting each other. All this connected with me, with my previous experiences and the joy of what I have now. It’s amazing how sometimes a novel can just catch you in this manner. There was a little mystery that could have been more detailed. There was a new romance developing. Since there will be a final third installment, I'm sure we'll see a wedding or a baby from some (or all!) of these characters soon. Many of the lines seem very close to life lessons you are brought up hearing and seemed a bit hooky. Overall a nice story and fun series to look into.

Thanks to Boldwood Books, the author and NetGalley for this opportunity to discover a new author.

Told between two people so like two stories in one but connected. How we judge our parents !!!!!! Lovely to be back at Starfish cafe. Not as sad as the first ones. Loved reading about the seals. Tori was a great character and very talented . You really appreciate what the life boat volunteers do,. I like Hollie. Perfect ending.Just sit back and enjoy it with a nice cuppa.

I don't think Jessica Redland is capable of writing a bad book. I've loved every single book of hers and this was just as wonderful as all previous ones. It was a delight to be back with Hollie and Jake and Pickle the dog at the Starfish Cafe. This second book in the Starfish Cafe trilogy introduced two new characters, Tori (Victoria) and Finley both of whom are such likeable people and I enjoyed their back stories. No good novel would be complete without a vile villain to boo and hiss at and this is provided in the shape of the slimy Smythe who intends to drive Hollie out of the cafe. With likeable humans, cuddly animals and the beautiful Yorkshire coast setting this was my idea of heaven. I can't wait for Jessica's next book. My thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for a pre release copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Loved it!! I enjoyed this book so much better than the previous one in the series. There was so much more happiness and less crazy psycho characters. At least this book didn't have family members trying to stab other family member s with gardening shears, which was a huge plus. Whitsborough Bay seems like such a great place to live (minus Slimy Smythe) with all the shops, beaches and the seals. I would want to be friends with everyone there. Hollie and Jake are back and they are so in LOOOOOVE. I foresee wedding bells and babies in their future. Finley and Torie are great additions to the series. They fit in perfectly. Torie's parents are definitely on the strange side. With all their money they can be eccentric. I can understand the frustration and anger that Torie had for them. They never listened and always brushed off Torie's problems like it was nothing. I will say the arrangement they had was extremely strange. It was nice to see Charlee again. I love this series and can't wait to return to the Starfish Café.

Definitely recommend the book. Loved the characters, story and writing style. Can't wait to see what's up next for Jake, Hollie and Pickle. Look forward to reading more books by the author. Loved the cover of the book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Boldwood Books through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
