What a delightful book! Lizbet Keaton has just broken up with her cheating boyfriend after fifteen years together and running a very successful restaurant. She gets hired to manage the reopening of the storied Hotel Nantucket, rumored to be haunted, if not cursed. The story questions are whether the hotel will survive and thrive, and will Lizbet find professional and personal happiness. On the way to the answers, the reader will meet dozens of characters, which I found daunting at first, but they're well-drawn and distinctive. The author does a great job of describing the atmosphere of the hotel, and food--you can almost taste it. She has a gift for description. Also, the characters are all fully-dimensional, in that they show one face to the world but are hiding secrets, just like real people. There's a lot of dramatic tension as enemies become awkward allies, small acts of cruelty and kindness are sprinkled in, and love, injustice, and desire comingle to create a lush, delicious read. The ending was very satisfying. A rich and enjoyable read from the talented Hilderbrand.

London billionaire Xavier Darling recently invested a ton of money in the remodeling of the crumbling Hotel Nantucket. Lizbet Keaton is hired to be the General Manager. After a nasty breakup she’s ready to start a new project and prove herself. Xavier wants to receive a 5 star review on his hotel so the pressure is on! Grace was the former chambermaid for the Benedict’s who previously owned the hotel. In 1922 she was killed and her murder covered up with a fire. Now she is haunting the hotel trying to get justice and acknowledgment. As the story continues, we learn that employees and guests are hiding secrets.

I’ve read several books by Elin Hildebrand and they have all been great. This one is no exception.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

We are back in Nantucket! I was completely mesmerized by The Hotel Nantucket, each chapter brought me further into the story and I was completely entranced with every character and loved the multiple points of view. Each character in the book had his or her own facet, some had more scintillating secrets than others and a few had some big secrets. As always the writing completely captured summer on Nantucket, it was like summer in a book. The details of the hotel were so descriptive ad the food and drinks served up in The Blue Bar were completely decadent.

This is also a bit of a ghost story and Grace the resident ghost captured my heart with her wit and spunk. Lizbet, Edie, and Alessandra were struggling with issues but their storylines added so much to the overall plot of the book. There was just so much that I loved about this book from the secrets of the hotel staff and some of its guests, to the quirkiness of a few of the characters, the subplots, and the food! Not to mention a few appearances of characters from the author's past books and a nod to one of my all-time favorite books by Elin Hildebrand, The Blue Bistro.

I loved this book, it was a decadent summertime read!

This book was beyond my expectations!
The writing really captured the essence of Nantucket. I think that the characters all brought a different dynamic to the book and really made me want to keep reading. This book is definitely the perfect beach read! It is nice and relaxing with some romance.

Hotel Nantucket is an excellent summer read. It's part ghost story, part romance, with a little mystery thrown in! It's a good story, and I was engaged with the characters from the start. I've only read a couple other books by this author, but I enjoyed the callbacks to places and characters from other books. And, even though I've never been to Nantucket, I loved reading the author's personal recommendation guide for the island at the end of the book.

I have read several Erin Hilderbrand books, and this one is amazing! There were many characters that she developed beautifully, and I found myself pulling for each and every one of them! There were surprises and secrets that kept me turning the page. I especially loved how the ghost tied all the characters together to make this book complete!

Thank you to @netgalley for the eARC of this book. This book is everything you would expect from an Elin Hilderbrand book. Nantucket, beaches, romance. This one involves a hotel and a ghost. Fairly predictable.

Oh Elin, you've done it again! I loved this book so much. It's amazing how a book can be written from so many different POVs and yet never leave the reader confused or lost! And each character's story plays its part in the main storyline so beautifully. I don't usually like paranormal/ghost characters since they can easily become too gimmicky, but Grace's character just worked really well. I highly recommend this book!

I loved this book! Elin Hilderbrand has again written the perfect beach read set in Nantucket. I really like stories with multiple characters whose stories intertwine and a hotel is a perfect setting, full of characters with different personalities and backgrounds. The setting is an old hotel that has been completely refurbished with no expense spared and the this is the first year of its reopening. It even comes with a 100 year old ghost. Usually I shut a book when a ghost appears but this ghost is perfect for the story. Between the ghost, the hotel employees, the guests, and the narrator, the plot moves quickly through romances and mystery. I was thoroughly entertained and was sorry to see the story end. I hope there is a second season for the Nantucket Hotel -- I'm not ready to give up these wonderful characters and beautiful setting. Please, Elin Hilderbrand, consider a sequel!

This may be my favorite Elin Hilderbrand book ever -- I loved the multiple points of view, including that of a sort of "representative Nantucket citizen" omniscient narrator making lots of comments throughout. It was creative and added a lot to the story. The story mainly revolves around Lizbet Keaton, an accomplished hospitality professional who finds herself in need of a new opportunity. As luck would have it, the crumbling, historic Hotel Nantucket has just been purchased and completely refurbished by a mysterious London billionaire. He asks only that Lizbet earn a coveted "five key" rating from the equally mysterious Shelly Carpenter, a famous Instagram influencer who rates hotels all over the world. The hotel staff provides many colorful secondary characters with interesting stories of their own -- all of which are very satisfyingly wrapped up at the end. The Nantucket setting adds so much to the appeal of this book, as does the descriptions of food served in its real and fictional restaurants. Elin Hilderbrand's many faithful readers will love this, as will anyone looking for a fun page-turner for summer.

Elin does it again! This book transports you to the island of Nantucket with a wonderful cast of characters… including a paranormal one seeking revenge but finding much more…

It's not summer without a beach read from Elin Hilderbrand. The Hotel Nantucket is a recently refurbished hotel with a scandalous past. The newly hired General Manager is Lizbet Keaton who is recently single and wants to make a name for herself running the opulent hotel. This story is full of a cast of characters, some who work at the hotel and some guests at the hotel. It took a while for me to warm up to this book but once I did I thoroughly enjoyed it and was sad for it to end. I liked getting to know all the characters and finding out their secrets.
Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for a copy of this book for review.

Another fantastic Elin Hilderbrand novel! Sure to be a big hit this summer on the beaches.

She has an easy style of writing that makes you feel comfortable, sliding back into Nantucket again this summer. The story revolves around the staff of a newly renovated hotel. On their first day, the GM asks if they want to share any secrets and nobody answers...but as the summer goes on, all those secrets come out. And there is a ghost haunting the hotel, trying to get her secrets out, too. The characters are well developed and interesting.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.

This was my very first ARC review and I'm just so happy to do it for Elin Hilderbrand. The first book I ever read by her was Golden Girl and I fell in love with her writing. I was so excited when I got approved for The Hotel Nantucket because the storyline seemed familiar to Golden Girl. I WAS RIGHT.

The Hotel Nantucket was the cobblestone version of 'The White Lotus' - at times I felt like I was watching the show again. Hilderbrand's character development of the staff and guests at the hotel made this entire story. I was literally giggling out loud at parts (I even teared up at some). I enjoyed how she used current references when it came to the characters dialogue & who doesn't enjoy a good music playlist scattered throughout. I could literally TASTE Mario's cooking from the descriptions of the food. I wanted to quite literally-- stay at The Hotel Nantucket.

Most of all I loved Grace and Wanda. I don't know who I loved more. I really identified with Wanda's character--- even on vacation I'd be stuck in the book. But without Grace we wouldn't have this entire story.

I've put off Elin Hilderbrand's novels for a really long time and now she's 2 for 2. This one is a grand slam and will have you smiling until the very last page.

Thank you Little Brown and Company, Net Galley & Elin Hilderband for this Advanced Reading Copy.

This review will be posted to my instagram @bookswithbrielle in June.

4.5 stars! I was so excited to receive a galley of The Hotel Nantucket! I love Elin Hilderbrand books and couldn’t wait to read this one. I have read many of her books, and have found that her most recent ones have been her best… and this one definitely didn’t disappoint!

The Hotel Nantucket was so good. I loved the characters, the storyline, but most of all the setting. The hotel itself definitely became its own character. I also really liked all the characters and their storylines. In typical Hilderbrand fashion, this book had multiple characters and multiple viewpoints, but they were all really well done.

However, my most favourite part of this book was definitely the real life “Blue Book” included in the back. I have always wanted to go to Nantucket, and now Elin has created her own guide to Nantucket. I loved reading all her suggestions, and the personal notes she included about each place - from what she usually orders, to local tips and tricks.

This was a great book. If you love Elin Hilderbrand you won’t be disappointed - and if you are just starting out with her, this would be a great starting point!

This book comes out in June, so make sure you keep an eye out for its release!

I love Elin Hilderbrand, It's such a treat to read it this summer.
It gave me similar vibes to Golden Girl, Which is my second fave book of her.. My first favorite is 28 Summers.

What I loved:
-The story was through multiple points of view (similar to Golden Girl). You got to hear not only from the main characters but also secondary characters who had smaller parts in the story. Which i really enjoy!
