This picture book tells about the most important job for children: to play! With expressive text and interesting pictures, this book shows the many ways that children play. I would recommend this book for parents of children in the age 2-6 range. It is a fun book that parents and children can read together. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book!
This was really cute! I love this series. The art winds up being polarizing. Some people hate it. I really like it, though. The play message here is fantastic! A lot of parents don't understand just how important play is, and I think this book works in a great parenting tip and message while still being a fun to read picture book.
This was a whimsical story about young kids and play. The artwork was fun and engaging. I would recommend it for patrons looking for books about young children, play, and leisure time.

Such a fun romp through a child’s day of play! The fun text style matches the playful tone and illustrations. This is a good one. I can’t wait to share this one with my children, and then put the book away and go play.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a digital sneak peek at this title in exchange for an honest review.
Playtime for Restless Rascals was a great book about various situations of play the main child engages in. Brightly illustrated, with a Black family- always good to see diversity in children's books.
