A personable bible study and prayer book for young readers ages 4-8. The bible goes thru major bibical events. Each chapter starts with scripture and the story that a young child can relate to. The chapter ends with a prayer to Jesus that is personal to your child. This would make a great gift for the young readers in your life. Those that you want to share the word and the love of God with.

If you as an adult struggle to read the bible, I would suggest reading this book and work your way up to the actual bible. It will give any reader a hunger for more. It is a great way to know God and his plan.

A special thank you to K-Love Books and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

Pros: I am always on the lookout for books like this for my godson. I thought the illustrations in this book were precious and that the telling of Bible stories was very appropriate for children who are learning about the Bible. I especially appreciated that it appears that the illustrator took care to correctly represent the races of the people in the Bible. I can see a Sunday school class using this book to tell the stories of the Bible and also using the prayers included throughout. I also think that books geared toward children can also be enjoyed by people learning about Christianity or who are new Christians because these tellings of stories are written in approachable language where sometimes the Bible is not as readable.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Thank you to NetGalley and K-LOVE Books for the opportunity to read this book.
