Since this is only the first few chapters of HUSBAND MATERIAL, a full review with all of my thoughts is to come! However, this preview made me incredibly excited and I cannot wait to see Luc and Oliver again. I’m incredibly excited to see a direct sequel for a romance novel.

This book is going to be so good! I was already so excited to read more about Luc and Oliver and now I'm counting the days until August. Luc is such a beautiful beautiful mess and I love him so much.

As a massive fan of Boyfriend Material, this short preview was everything, so thank you NetGalley! However, I now desperately need the full book asap. August better come around quickly!

I’m so excited for this book! As cruel as I find it that they released the cover almost a year before release, I’m ridiculously happy to see the sneak peek. I love Oliver and Luc and can’t wait to see the trials and tribulations they go through in the sequel!

Boyfriend Material has become somewhat of a comfort read to me, my paperback is quite battered up from the constant re-reads of my favourite moments. It was nice to have a sneak peek into the upcoming release, though I must admit, I have some regrets, as I now want to devour the whole thing. August is far too far away, but I’ll be waiting (Perhaps not so patiently.) For publish day. Big thank you to netgalley and the author for a wonderful preview, I’ll be anxiously anticipating the full book.

Normally I am not a fan of reading previews. But with the release so far away I missed Luc and Oliver too much to pass on this opportunity. This little taste just makes waiting for the whole book harder.

Reading this has made me incredibly excited for the release of the full book later in the year. Husband Material has the same humorous tone I've come to expect from Alexis Hall, and I can't wait to see what happens with all these weddings.

If this is just the first five chapters, I am very excited for the rest of Husband Material! This books starts as laugh out loud hilarious, and it's clear that the author is taking care to update readers on the state of each characters' storyline. Hall does it in a way that avoids too much exposition, while making sure the readers understand what is going on before we get into the thick of the plot. I love where Oliver and Luc are in their relationship right now, and I can't wait to see where they go from here!

I tend to avoid sneak peaks and previews of books that I am planning on reading because I like going in blind but I couldn't stay away from this preview of Husband Material if you paid me. I devoured this preview like I plan to devour the entire book when it releases. The same Oliver and Luc magic is present here that made me fall in love with them in Boyfriend Material and I CAN NOT WAIT to read the full story.

Absolutely perfect and I cannot wait to get my hands on a final copy. Alexis Hall, as always, does a fantastic job of bringing characters to life.

Alexis Hall is witty as ever! One thing Hall is always amazing at is banter, oh my god the banter and the complete insane but very comical situations our characters find themselves in. I can't wait to read the rest of this book and fall in love with Luc and Oliver again!
