This was such a great preview and I'm highly looking forward to reading the entire book soon! The preview was a good intro to the thing readers can look forward to seeing in the full title.

Looks promising! Can’t really say with an excerpt the length of an Amazon sample. I can’t tell if it’s funnier than the first book, or not quite as funny as the first book, or how the plot’s developing overall. So many questions! So my full opinion and a better rating will just have to wait till the complete book comes out and I read it then.

These few chapters left me very intrigued for how the plot will develop for Oliver and Luc! While I like the supporting characters, I hope the focus re-centers around Oliver and Luc more because they are very distant and not in contact much at the moment. But I’m trusting the process since five chapters is just a glimpse into the story and there’s still so much to develop! I’m so excited to see how it all unfolds!

Oh it was soooo good being back with Luc and Oliver and everyone else.
It's been a few years and Luc and Oliver are very very happy together but like still they're Luc and Oliver. They don't want to be a mess but they kind of are. But also they're both very good at knowing each other and they can figure out their shit together.
I've said this a few times over the years, but it 100% applies to Luc and Oliver, they are a comfort couple for me. I would read a thousand books about them just being together and love every second of it.

A nice taster! I've listen to the first book a couple of times now and loved it! I These five chapters have me looking forward to the next instalment for these guys.

Luc and Oliver are back and better than ever. Luc is such a refreshing character. He's trying his hardest to overcome past trauma and break long-learned habits. Two years have passed since Boyfriend Material, and he's doing great but when life throws some drama at him, he struggles not to fall back into his old ways. I love reading his journey through old trauma and healing.

I was so grateful to receive this preview of Husband Material ahead of the full book ARC. The first five chapters have convinced me that the book will definitely be a new favorite!

I devoured Boyfriend Material and reading this preview brought back all the wonderful feelings of being surrounded by characters I love.

I honestly can't wait for August to read the rest of this magnificent book.

Well this is what I call torture. This 6 chapters reminded me how much I love this author's writing style and made me even more excited for what book two has to offer. Boyfriend Material checked all the boxes when it comes to a good romance that including a good fake dating plot, opposites attract and of course hilarious writing. Don't hesitate to pick this book up when it comes out!

Alexis Hall is back with the follow-up to Boyfriend Material and I am beyond excited. I listened to the audio of Boyfriend Materials (amazing narration), and so as I read this preview of Husband Material I was definitely hearing all of the voices in my head for these characters and it made me even more excited to get more of Luc and Oliver!

I've requested the full ARC on netgalley and I'm excited to read it. I really enjoyed the first book and can't wait to read the sequel.

Reading the five-chapter preview of Husband Material feels like hugging a very dear friend after not having seen them in a while. And within just a few minutes of reconnecting, you’re reminded again—as if you could ever forget—that said friend is hilarious but sincere, sweet but uncompromising, romantic but real. You're reminded of all the reasons why you became very good friends in the first place.

Gods, how I have missed insecure, self-deprecating, endearingly awkward Luc; supportive, overly reasonable, and charmingly stoic Oliver; and all their adorably crazy and quirky friends. I’m just so happy to be with them again that I just can’t stop smiling. To say that I can’t wait to read the entirety of Husband Material would be an understatement.

Hall's follow-up masterfully enjoyable Boyfriend Material shows all signs that this will be another treat.

I loved jumping back into Luc and Oliver’s world! It was like being reunited with old friends. I missed the quirky friend group and was happy to be with them for a little bit.
