Following the sharp and very funny Boyfriend Material, Husband Material does not disappoint. It is lovely to see how Luc and Oliver’s relationship has continued to grow and strengthen but in a realistic way with challenges to overcome. I love the setting (very British) and the humor. A very fun read!

Was super cute and reminded me of her earlier novel, but I think this one is better so far. I can't wait to read the rest of it!!

The first five chapters of this book captured me back immediately to where Boyfriend Material left off. Back is the witty language and dry humour. The characters who are unmistakenly themselves as we got to know them over the course of the first book; personal growth included.
The set-up leaves me to wonder what further will happen and which underlying problems will be discussed and dealt with. I am looking forward to the release of the book in August.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series, so of course I'm excited for a sequel. The preview so far was good and has me wanting more. I noticed a few grammar mistakes but nothing too bad. I do hope though that Oliver grows a bit as a character. I already have the full book on preorder.

I loved Boyfriend Material so much, I absolutely can't wait for this book to come out. Luc and Oliver's relationship was really fun to see how it developed in the first book, but I'm a sucker for domesticity and I can't wait to read more of their dynamic in an established relationship!

Ohhh it was so good to be back in this story, I fell so sad when I finished the read of Boyfriend Material beacause I just lept wanting for more of Luc and Oliver. Read this preview make me so so so happy cuz they are back and I just had a lot of good laughing in only five chapters, I can't wait to be able to read the entire book, I can´t wait the realease! This five chapters just made me wanting for more!

I loved the first chapters. Boyfriend material is one of my favorite books and I had no doubt that this would be perfect too. I’m so excited to read about how Oliver and Luc’s relationship is going to develop. These first chapters made me even more eager to read the book and I can’t wait till it comes out.

This taste has only made me more excited, release day can not come soon enough. So many are so excited and from this sneak peak its looking like we all may be very pleasantly very happy with this new book.

The first five chapters of this book are brilliant! The hilarious wit of this author just makes Oliver and Luc amazing.

When we last left Luc and Oliver, they were transitioning from fake relationship to real relationship, with a lot of bumps along the way. This story picks up two years later, and we find out what they (and their group of friends) have been up to. Luc and Oliver are happy and stable, with Luc essentially moved into Oliver's house, and their friends are making big life steps like adopting a child and getting married. With everyone around them moving forward, they (especially Luc) feel like they need to be following suit and get to their "I dos" already.

But this being a rom-com, there will be of course be a lot of hijinks along the way.

I didn't like this one quite as much as its predecessor, and felt like it had some pacing issues, but overall it was charming and made me laugh a lot. Luc and Oliver have fantastic banter and feel like realistically flawed people, and their friend group, while occasionally less nuanced, is still great (especially Priya, my beloved). I'd recommend this for fans of the first one who wanted a bit more closure on Luc and Oliver's relationship. 3.5 rainbow balloon arches out of 5, rounded up.

Great preview! Really got the conflicts for the book in there without rushing it. I'm very interested so far and think I will like the sequel better than the first book.

Well I simply love this Preview and can't wait for full book! 😍 I am in love with Alexis Hall and would read everything she writes but this series stays close to my heart. I enjoyed the first installment and can't wait for the second!

I absolutely loved Boyfriend Material and was thrilled to hear we would be getting a sequel. If the first few chapters are indicative of what is to come, the second book will be just as satisfying as the first. I love the quick wit and sarcasm from our two main characters but how warm they can be with each other. I am very excited to see how the rest of the story plays out.

Much like its predecessor, this book is a delight. The characters continue to be funny and charming and I can't wait to read the full book when it comes out.

This is a commentary on the first four chapters included in the preview from Netgalley. Those four chapters hooked me and left me wanting the whole book right now!

The setup seems to be a Four Weddings and a Funeral plot and as one of the weddings is that of Luc's ex-yes, the one who broke his heart-angst is on the way! Luc's friends and co-workers are back. Alex remains terrifyingly literal and hilarious only now he has a YouTube channel to spread his particular brand of joy. Bridget's love life is crashing, and even steady Oliver has concerns about his priority with Luc. I'm so looking forward to this. The writing is buoyant and sparkling and I anticipate comedy and high emotions with this book.

Publishes in early August and I'm ready to read it!

I enjoyed this preview and cannot wait to read the full book. I enjoyed the characters and the writing style. I have read other things from this author and was excited to see what was up next
