This book is okay. It’s hard to make an office romance unforgettable these days because there are so many, and unfortunately this one fell in the forgettable category. There’s nothing particularly bad about the story, but nothing quite so stands out to where I could recognize it among the hoards of workplace romance books there are out there. It’s a fun read, but it doesn’t hold up to the other more mainstream workplace romances I’ve read before.

This book was actually quite cute. It was a light, fun read and was actually quite funny. The writing was just okay, but it was entertaining and kept me interested long enough to finish it.

While I did enjoy reading this book, I found it a quick read with not much depth. It had its funny moments though and I would recommend it to romance fans Looking for Something very light.

It took me a while to pick this up to read because it sounded good, but also pretty standard fare. That's exactly what thus book turned out to be. It's good, but pretty standard fare.

It hits all the formulas, tropes, and story beats. It's a good and easy read. But there is nothing new or unexpected here.

This was a fun read! My first read from Sara Hudson and I enjoyed a lot about it. The plot & tropes is exactly what I look for in my rom-coms: low angst, good steam, and high quality banter. I normally don’t venture into workplace romances, but throw in a classic playboy mc and quick-witted fmc and I’m sold! Will definitely be reading any future books in this series. I

Light-hearted romance with all the angst, steam and banter to make you want to read this in one sitting.

Tropes and add ons I loved in this book:
✨Work place romance
✨Forced proximity
✨Forbidden romance
✨A hairless cat! My favorite🥹
✨Spice

Chase and Bell’s story was way too damn cute. Hilarious banter, conversations about anything and everything, and I loved the opposites attract vibes. Chase is such a play boy but has a brilliant heart of gold, and Bell is the definition of fiery and smart. I can absolutely never say no to a forbidden workplace romance, and this book just ticked all of the boxes for me. Absolutely brilliant!

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC.

Sara Hudson does it again with a hilarious tale. There are strong women and misunderstood men with hearts of gold. Highly recommend if you are looking for a bawdy rom-com. I hope we get to see Thomas and Alice's story soon!

Things I liked: There were s laugh out loud moments and witty dialog, There were some heartwarming moments and likable characters. T The side characters of Thomas, Alice, and Liz were strong enough to be engaging.

Things I didn’t like: I didn’t like the villains, because they felt cartoonish. Not much depth or subtlety

Chase Moore is upset because he does not want the department store sold. He thinks he can make it work and after arguing with his father he does just that. He decides to hire Campbell King. She thinks it is a joke at first but then realizes this will be her way back into the New York market that she had to run away from years ago. Now though she is the top dog in Texas and other places but to get back to New York and turn around the big-name company store will be just her ticket.
Meeting Chase, she puts her emotions and feelings down, she needs to stay focused on the prized at hand. Walking around the story before he even knows she is there he tries to impress her with coffee which he spills all over her. It is here that she gets to see how much he loves the love but more importantly the people that work for him since his mother was around. There is when the story changes really take off. You do find out she has to deal with her arch enemy who is again trying to destroy her since she did it years before. This time though she has a plan and it is because she wants to know why are they spending so much advertising money but having no advertising. A very good story with funny moments with her Elvis singing or talking, which just adds to this book and makes everything work. A very good read.

I struggled a bit to get into this one. It had a lot of the typical romance tropes. I think the market is just currently saturated and we need some fresher ideas. Overall an average read for me.

So, this is book 1 in the 'Moore to Love' series, this was a light-hearted contemporary romance that was equal parts steamy and angsty. When Chase, the bad egg of the Moore family, brings in savvy marketing consultant, Campbell King to upgrade the image of the family business, he wasn't expecting to fall for her. Having endured loss and betrayal early on, her work is all that matters to Campbell, but sexy Chase Moore is a temptation that threatens to complicate her life. Even with all their respective baggage and insecurities wearing them down, the sizzling chemistry between the two draws them together, despite their best intentions. Of our two protagonists, Campbell is my favourite - I love a strong heroine, who stands her ground and gives a scathing comeback to misogynists and backstabbers - a feat I consider akin to a superpower. Chase, on the other hand, is your regular bad boy, who hides his pain behind his smirk and a nonchalant attitude. Though not a fan of insta-love stories, this was quite an engaging read. The author has spun a refreshing take on the 'workplace romance' trope, with all the witty banter and wordplay, Chase's hairless cat, Mike Hunt, and Campbell's Elvis obsession. The weekend romance was sweet with some heavy action thrown in for good measure. Overall, a charming rom-com generously sprinkled with double entendre and puns. Would recommend for sure.

I got an ARC of this book earlier this year but only had the time to read it recently, and I am so sad I didn’t do it sooner!

who knew a hairless cat could be the star of the show?

you guys know I live for banter, and let me tell you, this one did not disappoint! I couldn’t even count the number of times I caught myself straight up smiling at the innuendos spread around this book. But aside from that, we get to see two people rising up to their full potential despite roadblocks that lead them to where they are.

A Little Moore Action follows Chase Moore, who is dubbed as the spare heir, and steps up the family business and promises better profit. Campbell King, a powerhouse boss of marketing, gets hired to improve the Moore’s name and brand. Things start to get interesting, and hot and heavy as the new boss, Chase, and his latest hire, Campbell, meet for the first time.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and am so glad I was able to discover this author! I absolutely love and will protect Chase and Bell with my life, they’ve both been through so much and yet still remain so smart, strong, sexy as hell.

Thank you Sara L Hudson and NetGalley for providing me with this ARC in exchange of my honest review.

I loved this so much, I can't even begin to list it. I loved the dual POVs, the fast pace, the yearning!!!! The little ball of skin, Mike. Everything about this was so wholesome AND sensual. Definitely would LOVE to read the second part and see Thomas's character!

This novel has everything I look for in a contemporary romance.

Banter? Check!
Angst? Check!
Steam? Check!

AND it's a forbidden romance set in the workplace? Sign me up!

I really enjoyed Chase and Cambell's relationship development and I'd definitely recommend this one to a friend!

A Little Moore Action was such an enjoyable read, and offers dual POV (which I personally absolutely love). This book offered equal parts romance and comedy, and a whole lot of spice I didn't know I needed. Sara Hudon is a brilliant writer and I cannot wait read the other books in this series!

If you enjoy some spicy office romance, you HAVE to pick this book up. And if you're not into spicy office romance, I'd still suggest picking this book. up, cause I think that's about to change! ;)

I adored this book so much! It was definitely not what I was expecting and kept me devouring page after page. I cannot wait to read more from this author!

A big thank you to NetGalley and the author for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the first in a new series. I enjoyed this book. Chase has a really odd family, I can relate, well not to the money but otherwise. Nothing he does is good enough for his truly prejudice father. The chemistry between Chase and Campbell was great. I thought that Mike the cat was a great addition. 4 stars Fun read, loved the ending.

A Little Moore Action
Moore to Love Series / Book 1
by Sara L Hudson

I received a digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was genuinely a laugh out loud RomCom. Our hero fits into the trope of super hot rich guy who’s family treats him like the terrible black sheep even though he’s really not that bad just mischievous and initially commitment phobic.

I appreciated the examination of the repercussions of lady on lady work sabotage and how women in the work force are held to different standards than men.

Additionally - hairless sphinx cat in sweaters owned by the hero. Lol

5/5 A fun read

This book is hysterical. It's fun and flirty with a touch of family drama as well, but what first comes to mind is the humor. I loved Chase and Bell's back and forth banter and the equal footing they remain on throughout the book.

Bell is only back in New York for a client, the Moore's department store with a million square ft of prime Manhattan real estate. Chase is trying to save his family legacy and had no idea the impact his new marketing consultant would have on his life.

Neither of them are ready for something big, something real, but they can't ignore their attraction or their chemistry. Once they give in, it seems like it's all systems go but there are a few hurdles they need to get over. I loved this read. It was quick and fun with some great characters and a good set up for the rest of the series. I highly reccomend for a flirty, spicy read!

4 stars.

This was such a surprising book! I enjoyed the banter between the two main characters.
The plot itself was not really original, however, it was really enjoyable to read.
The hairless cat was a fun addition to the story, while it was a bit cliché at times.
Overall I don't have that much to say, but it was just a really enjoyable book!

This was absolutely DELIGHTFUL. It's everything I look for in a romcom - good characters, easy humor, and just the right amount of sexual tension & spice. The playful banter between Chase and Bell was great, but lets be honest: the real star of the show is Mike Hunt - the hairless cat.

The plot moved along at a great pace, and I smiled just about the entire time I was reading. The Elvis theme fit in perfectly and didn't feel forced or tacky, it just added to the whimsy of the story. I really enjoyed all the side characters as well. Overall, I can't get over how cute this story was and actually think it would be a perfect romcom movie, too. I look forward to mo(o)re and can't wait to see Thomas and Alice's story 👀
