I love the illustrations, but the story itself is a bit lacking. I’m not sure it would resonate with children and even adults will struggle to see the purpose of the book. If you just want something to look at with nice pictures, though, this book would be great!

This is a beautiful book that introduces themes of identity and self love to children. Badger goes on an adventure asking different animals along the way if they like him based on how he looks, each animals points out a different quality that they see within badger, and that he is more than just how he looks. The book is accompanied by colourful illustrations that help to tell this story. This book is perfect for teaching young children to see themselves for than just their looks.

This picture book introduces some basic colours and different animals. Moreover, the book is about identity and be able to accept ourselves as we are.

Love the concept and the presentation. The artwork is calm and serene.
