This is a good middle grade read, and with the writing style you are able to tell that the author themselves are young, this is definitely a good read for those aged 12-16 i would say, personally as a 30yr old myself the book felt to young for me, but i would definitely recommend it to younger readers. Cali is such an independent character that really portrays the insecurities that young adults ace, and it was great to watch her character grow
