Shannon Bream has done it again! LOVED this book. Her insights are so well done. I appreciate all the research.

I love Shannon Bream and her writing style is easy and fun to read. She picks several well known duo's from the bible but I really enjoyed the lesser known mothers and daughters she picked. Not only does she tell you about them and gives concrete examples from the scriptures but she includes study questions for each chapter. This is the perfect book for a study group or book club that enjoys the Christian viewpoint. She also has sets of Mothers and Sons and Fathers and Daughters. A great gift.

New light brought to nine biblical women's stories. Grounded in scripture, the author portrays the women in a realistic manner that readers will be able to relate with. I enjoyed reading and learning from the author's prospective. I found by reading a chapter then dwelling on the message within was beneficial. The stories may be familiar to some but enjoyed by all. Recommended.
