I had a great time with this vacation romance! I found both of our characters to be a great match for the other, and I genuinely enjoyed my time with them. I would definitely recommend this author, as this is the second or third book I have read by them, and I have enjoyed all of them.
It did kind of make me want to go on a cruise again, even though I am someone who is afraid of getting sick on them.... We shall see what I decide!

Alexandria and Wes story is charming, filled with a little drama, and lots of fun. I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Wes was what Alexandria needed to loosen her up. Their chemistry was undeniable. A sweet romance that was beautifully written and I enjoyed reading. This was my first book by this author.

And as always Happy Reading!!!

Although I hate to see this series end. I am so glad to have been able to read this story. I can relate to Alex, being an oldest girl child with younger siblings, and some of the things she had to deal with when having to deal with younger siblings and the expectations others as well as yourself that are put on you. I loved Alex and her growth, and I really enjoyed her and Wes together. There were also some suprises that were in the book. I enjoyed this read, and can't wait to see what this author comes up with next.

This was a wonderful way to wrap up the Richardson family series. Alexandria and Wes story is charming, filled with a little drama, and lots of fun. I was happy to see that Alexandria was able to loosen up a bit and find her own potential happy ever after. It was a beautiful written story and I enjoyed reading the story. Cheris Hodges did not disappoint with this story, and it was good from beginning to end.

Man I am sad to see the end of the Richardson sisters. What a group of ambitious, enertaining, motivated, SEXY ladies and the men that would do anything for them. This book was STEAMY. It BANGS as we say in romance. Well done, author. Uhm, when the next one comin’?

The fourth Richardson sister, Alexandria, is featured in this story. What a great story it is! Alexandria, aka Alex, is the “all about the business” sister who runs the family’s legendary and historic bed and breakfast in Charleston, South Carolina. A true workaholic, Alexandria is pushed by her three sisters and father to take a singles’ cruise and for once in her life forget about work.
I like the twist on opposites attract that talented storyteller, Cheris Hodges employs in this engaging story. While on the cruise, Alex meets and falls for the one man who believes that all work and no play has no place in his life. Meet Wesley Prescott, the chief architect and owner of Prescott Architects. Wesley believes in dedicating authority and staying under the radar. When the story opens, Wes is taking “another” vacation. It just happens to be on the same cruise as Alex. What happens when Alex and Wes meet on that cruise is nothing short of romance at its best!
I love the family dynamics of the Richardson clan. CAN’T HIDE LOVE is an engaging story. I recommend it for your reading pleasure. .

Can’t Hide Love by Cheris Hodges is the fourth book in her Richardson Sisters series. This is eldest sister, Alexandria’s story.

Alexandria has been mother and protector to her younger sisters her entire life. She believes you have to make sacrifices for work and family. Wesley Prescott owner and main architect of Prescott Architects, never met a vacation he didn’t like; he’s the exact opposite of Alex. How can two people so different from each other form any type of relationship?

Can’t Hide Love is immediately engrossing. Cheris Hodges maintains the continuity of the series. The Richardson sisters are as tightly bonded as ever, and I continue to like them and their development over the series. The character interplay adds vibrancy to the story. There is some very explicit content. If you like your romance steamy, this is certainly the book for you. There is the slightest lag near the end, for which I deducted one star. I rate this novel 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it to all readers of contemporary romance.

My thanks to Kensington Books, Dafina, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. However, the opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine and mine alone.

This is an awesome conclusion to the “The Richardson Sisters Series”. It is a must read that you will enjoy as much I did. You will not want to miss the finale. I so loved the camaraderie between the sisters and brothers-in-law each having the others back. It has its share of family drama. Alex’s mom died when she was young and she took on the responsibilities of helping her dad raise her 3 other younger sisters becoming the mother hen. With all of Alex’s siblings being married she wants that life also and wonders if loves is in the stars for her. Wes is a successful architect who knows how easy it is to get caught up being a workaholic. So Wes takes his work series but he also makes time to enjoy himself with 3-4 vacations per year. My kind of guy.

Wes and Alex are booked on a single cruises where the two meet when Wes purposely cannon balls into the pool and literally soaks Alex and getting her attention. Alex decides to throw caution to the wind and follow her younger sister Yolanda’s advice and have a cruise fling with Wes. Unbeknownst to Wes and Alex; is that Wes has the contract to renovate the family B&B. So with the cruise being over he heads to the B&B and meets Alex’s dad and Alex walks in.

Now that Wes and Alex are working together on the B&B renovations can he convince Alex that it is her turn to have an HEA and throw caution to the wind and enjoy life with him?

I received an ARC from via Netgalley, Kensington Books, Dafina and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Thank you Negalley, Kensington Books, Dafina.

This one did not really work for me. I found the Alex, the female MC, to be blunt and rigid to the point of unpleasantness and Wes, the male MC, seemed undeveloped and changed dramatically without a significant journey to get there. The prose was rather simple and on-the-nose (love scenes are literally narrated, "Lick. Suck.")

Also, I was troubled that one of Alex's previous boyfriends was shamed for having small genitalia. The writer even made the point of saying he was a nice, decent person, but his body was directly and meanly insulted. That's not OK.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review.

This might work for someone else, but not for me. I felt the romance was poorly developed, and the characters had little going off them, except how hot they were for each other. 38% in and they’ve already had sex numerous times! I’m all for a good sexy romance, but I want some substance to give me something else to root for.

This book was a wonderful end to the series. I loved all the sisters but I loved Alexandria the most. She was no nonsense and felt that with her being the oldest she had to set an example. I loved the fact that her sisters convinced her to take some time for herself and go on a cruise. On the cruise she found that she didn't have to live up to a certain standard and could let loose. And she really did. I loved the fact she met someone she could vibe with. towards the end of the cruise I did figure out what was gonna happen and it did. I give this book five stars.

I’ve read every single book in the Richardson sisters series and this one didn’t dissaooint either! The buttoned up straight laced Alex gets a dose of love and adventure with architect Wesley. Def my fav of the series that Charish Hodges has done!

I’m sad that this is the last installment of the Richardson sisters. We meet Alex, the oldest who goes on a singles cruise. She meets Wes and they decide to have a fling. Once they get back to real life, they realize they have a working connection and this allows their relationship to blossom. Alex was a tough nut to crack. She sometimes jumped to conclusions and that would cause friction that they were able to resolve. This book was passionate and I loved how Wes wasn’t perfect, but perfect for Alex. This was a great book and I’d love to have more stories about these sisters and their husbands.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like our heroine Alexandria or our hero Wes when I first started this book. I thought Alex was going to be too rigid and Wes was going to be too happy go lucky, but the author did a good job of fleshing the characters out. I enjoyed the pacing of the book and enjoyed that there wasn’t an over abundance of angst. If I could change anything, I would have liked a tiny bit less interaction with Alexandria’s sisters.

The perfect ending to the Richardson sisters saga. From Owner of a Broken Heart to Can't Hide Love the Richardson sisters, their father, the men in their lives, and the family Bed and Breakfasts, this series was impressive. In my favorite story of the series I laughed, cried, cussed, as I came to the end of the book all I could say was it's all good. and be happy for Robin, Yolanda, Nina, and Alex.

Thank you, NetGalley for the ARC of Owner of a Broken Heart. This is an honest and heartfelt review

This is the last book in The Richardson Sisters Series. Big Sister Alex is a type A personality, all business, no fun. The sisters finally convince Alex to go on a two weeks cruise. Wesley Prescott is a wealthy architect whom believes there is more to live then working 24/7. Wesley and Alex chemistry is explosive. Can Wesley show Alex how to let her hair down.

I liked the premise of this book, but the execution is very meh for me. For the countless of chapters, especially during the first half of the book, nothing happened. We get to see lots of chapter with Alex just being annoyed with her sisters pestering her with this annoying trip that could've been cut out and written concisely in a single chapter. I also felt like both our main characters, Alex and Wesley, are so flat and bland and didn't have any character or personality at all. This book feels like I am reading a grocery list than a romance novel. I just waited for something to happen, and when something did happen, it is so lukewarm and uninteresting. I definitely did not enjoy the reading experience with this book.

Can’t Hide Love is an enjoyable romance set in and around South Carolina, with a fair bit of the story occurring on a singles cruise. Alex is a workaholic sister in a large, tight knit family that owns a famous Charleston bed and breakfast. Wes is a successful New York architect who loves nothing more than hooking up with beautiful women then moving on with his life. It’s a fun set up for some hot hookups. When it turns out that Wes’ company is in charge of the expansion of the B&B, things get super interesting for Aex and her family.

I found the characters believable and the dialogue snappy and realistic. It’s a big family and they all have their own backstories plus their dad manages to get himself engaged and married during this book, so I sometimes had trouble figuring out which sister was connected to which guy. The sex scenes are plentiful, but tended toward purple prose and euphemisms which isn’t my preference and I found the editing to be clunky at times.. But all in all, it was a fun and fast read. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates a well constructed set of characters in a solid, insta-love style romance.. 3.5 stars

Special thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC for this. All opinions expressed are all my own.

I loved this book. Alex and Wes’s story is so relatable. I feel like it could actually happen in real life which isn’t something that I can say about most romance novels. Alex is a workaholic at her family’s Bed n Breakfast in South Carolina. Wes is a super successful architect who’s motto is work hard but play harder. These two wind up on the same singles cruise. Can Alex actually relax for once in her life and not think about work? Wes is determined to help her do so. While she had fun on the cruise, she adamantly tells Wes that that’s all it was, nothing more. But what happens when Wes just so happens to be the architect who’s working on the new wing of her family’s BnB? Throw in a little family drama and this is a fast paced wild ride.

Although, there are 3 book ahead of this in the Richardson Sister series, you don’t necessarily need to read them before this one. I didn’t and I feel like the author was good at catching the reader up and what had previously happened.

I love the growth between Alex and Wes individually and together. I know this is the last book in the Richardson Sisters series but I would more background on Wes and what stories his family told him that made him feel the way that we does about the South. I throughly enjoyed this book and I’ll be reading the other 3 in the series as well.
